Hi

I need to stop snacking and eating crap! So I'm drawing a line and starting fresh from Monday. I'm planning to eat healthily / low carb and am trialling Beachbody On Demand .... hoping this one will hook me as the workouts are different each day rather than the same for a week. Anyone want to join me and hold me accountable?

I still have about 3 stones to loose and would like to be out of my 16s and squeezing into a 12 by the time I go on holiday in mid July. First goal is to loose 2lbs which should put me in overweight rather than obese. Then I'd like to get to 11 something.... currently 12.9.3.

My problem is I lack motivation, am tired and lazy really..... I need to make a new habit tho.

I have no holiday to plan for but I would like to feel better for mid June .
I had a good day yesterday. Lots of gardening and activity .
Ate pretty well too .
Lunch was a ceser salad , done nuts and a twirl bar . Dinner I had stuffed mushrooms and coleslaw. And a flatbread. Ate nothing after . Went in garden again and bath and bed .

Let's just all try have an active and healthier weekend . I think your probably overeating crap because your of the mindset you starting again tomorrow so I'll have it today . Tell yourself you can have a treat if you want it tomorrow and I bet more often than not your won't have it .

I caught a glimpse of myself yesterday in a window . It was not pleasant . But a real kick in the arse .
Did 2 walks yesterday both about 3km . Ate reasonably well . Hope in the long run this works for me .

I know exactly what you mean Mrsgandy I saw some photos of me taken by my daughter and just felt gutted! I'm going on holiday on Weds, lost exactly 2 of the 10lbs I'd hoped to shed., I've had no alcohol for 2 weeks and it has had zero impact on my weight (will carry on though as I'm getting fewer night sweats) Time for me to get real about this!

@pontiouspilates 2lb off is better than 2 on so well done .
Just back from a nice walk.
Will do laundry now and cook for later . Ughhhh I wish I was away in a nice resort being pampered .
Enjoy your hols and worry about the weight after.

I’m still here too...sticking with the small changes so trying not to stress when I over indulge. Yes, I had a lunch out and could’ve made much healthier choices, but I went for a long run and I didn’t touch any alcohol.

I’m trying to be a bit stricter from tomorrow though - focusing on being really good Mon-Fri and saving any treats for the weekend.

I'm going to pause until I'm back from my holiday. I don't tend to go crazy when we are away, but the alcohol intake definitely increases. As for today, I'm taking DD to a pudding only restaurant which is good for me as I'm more of a savory type and won't be too bothered by sitting with a COFFEE. I'll just try to make more sensible choices. Good luck everyone.

Oh my days I'm useless at this. Been hiding again but I am so damned determined to get this sorted so I'm back again if you will still have me Blush

Will weigh in to start again tomorrow and will catch up with the thread with my cuppa after the school run in the morning.

My 40th is fast approaching and I can't believe I'm still fat! It's my challenge to do this now as a birthday present to myself!

I am probably the heaviest I have ever been 😔
14.12 . Makes me wonder about all the walking I have been doing.
I could cry but I knew it as I can see my reflection in the windows or mirrors and I can see how wide I look at times .
Got to sort this now .

I will think about joining a class but may pick one I not gone to before. I'll have a look later. Feel pretty crap but best I know

So yesterdays coffee turned into coffee and carrot cake. Im not even keen on cake. So much for 'making better choices' hey? But I will do this, I can't keep gaining and losing the same few lbs. Doesn't help that DH is as thin as anything and eats and drinks whatever he wants!

Morning everyone

Come on let's pick ourselves up. Today is a new day and we are back to it! Plan for me will be a tuna salad (of sorts, am waiting on a shopping delivery) and then tonight I'm going to go for a piece of steak with mushrooms onions and broccoli. Will be a tough week detoxing all the crap I've eaten over the last two, but we can and will do it.

@mrsgandy That's your starting number. Keep up with the walking, fitness is as important and especially the headspace walking can give you

So who's with me? What's today's plan?

Thanks swimming I needed that positivity. Checking in at 11st 3lbs. I'm aiming for no gain while I'm away this week and will then be in a good place to start losing when I'm back next week.

@swimmingdory yes the walking is important to my head space and tbf my thighs are well toned and butt and boobs ok . It's the horrible tummy fat where it's all piling . Thank you menopause!!

Urgh I had good intentions but woke up with a bit of a headache which has turned into a full blown shivery, joint achey cold 🥶

Have dumped kids on DH and trying to defrost in a warm bath then hitting the sack.

I seriously need this weather to improve, it's freezing here, the heating is on and the kids outdoor after school activity was cancelled due to the weather! We had hailstone so I am glad we didn't bother going.

Hope everyone else is feeling ok? I'm still here but can't restart whilst feeling like this. Hoping an early night with a lemsip will help tomorrow be a better day.

Ohhhh where is everyone . I weighed again this morn to try and keep me focused for weekend so I was down 1.75lb .

I literally have nothing in the house that's bad food really but it's so so hard

Well done @Talizori that's great going. I'm back from my hols and am delighted that I've managed to stay the same weight. Today, I'm ready and focused to get this going once and for all. I'm using MFP to track calories and am going to get my trainers on and start running again. (although for me, it does seem to be all about eating less) Good luck everyone.

I'm still a bit crap tbh. Did at least get up and do my run this morning. First one in a week. My cravings for foods are changing a little at the moment tho, am craving slimming world type meals so had a chicken salad for lunch and some chicken fried rice for tea. Was lovely tbh. Trying to pull it back. Holiday fast approaching.

Thanks swimming . I have been doing lots of reading and I know lots of my issues hormonal related and I know now that I have to do this properly. Not weighed yet this week . Will weigh fri morning give myself a chance. Going to also have to seriously limit carbs .

All my summer tops are tight and it's horrible. I feel determined

Not a bad day for me food wise, but another exercise free day. I do think that limiting cards is effective so I will also focus on that.
