Hi everyone

I have a lot of weight to lose and really really struggling. Have been on so many diets I have lost count and never seem to be able to stick to anything. I have realised that today it is exactly 8 weeks until I go on holiday and I had really wanted to lose weight and feel better about myself before then and suddenly it's coming round so quickly so I'm hoping that will help motivate me. Is anyone else interested in challenging themselves to lose as much as they can in that time??

xx

Here's a list. Does it work? I'm not great at this kind of thing.

It works oysterbabe!

Well done Grin

PhillipeFellope · 28/03/2019 20:55

Did 30 mins on the cross trainer at the gym and had some Joe Wicks veggie spaghetti but instead of spaghetti I had salad. I'm definitely PMTing as I'm bloating mid-section something rotten.

How's everyone doing?

PhillipeFellope · 28/03/2019 20:55

Oyster* you're a genius!! That's awesome!

Time40 · 28/03/2019 21:10

Can I join please?

I need to lose a stone.

small2018 · 28/03/2019 21:43

I want cake 😂

cherrysky · 28/03/2019 21:45

I want chocolate and cake Grin

PhillipeFellope · 28/03/2019 21:55

I want cake and chocolate and wine Grin

I had three bits of beef jerky which, although delicious, is a poor substitute for malteasers and fizzy pink prosecco.

Weigh in day and 2lbs off for me this week. I'm really pleased, I've now stuck to a diet for a month and lost 11lbs. 17.5lbs to go!
Today I'm skipping breakfast, bacon and blue cheese omelette for lunch. We're off to Devon for the weekend so I'll be eating there tonight. No idea what I'll be eating all weekend as I'll be at the mercy of MIL.

cherrysky · 29/03/2019 07:44

Morning all,

I found myself standing in the kitchen at 3am with a teaspoon and a jar of Nutella.

Shoot me now.

Well done, you are doing so well.

Enjoy your time in Devon.

PhillipeFellope · 29/03/2019 08:03

oysterbabe"that's amazing!! Congratulations!! 11lb is incredible! Enjoy your weekend!

About to get up and make a cup of tea, some fruit and yoghurt. Happy Friday everybody!

bodgersmash · 29/03/2019 08:08

Well done @Oysterbabe

@cherrysky did the Nutella make it into your mouth?!

What's everyone having for dinner tonight?

I've got overnight oats again for breakfast, aubergine bake with salad for lunch but can't decide on a nice dinner for this evening. Needs to be something re-heatable as DP will be late back from work.

Unfortunately loads of the Nutella made it into my mouth. I've just put the rest of the jar into the outside dustbin.

I will not repurchase.

Oysterbabe · 29/03/2019 08:50

I absolutely love aubergine bake. I must make one, it'd be a good lunch to take to work rather than buying packaged salads all the time.

I was just wondering how you are getting on?

Thanks for starting this thread.

Treaclesweet · 29/03/2019 09:42

Well done @oysterbabe that's loads!

I am planning on missing breakfast, might have beans on toast for lunch (comfort classic) and then veggie fajitas for tea. Have some Quorn to go in, I'm thinking it must be lighter than chicken although to be fair I haven't checked!

VivaFrida · 29/03/2019 11:18

Hi all! My breakfast was porridge with mini banana, zero percent yogurt and strawberries. Lunch will be something healthy from Pret as I am out and dinner I'll do frittata with lots of vegetables just a few drops of olive oil and some lighter cheese, served with salad. So much easier to eat lightly when the weather is nice. Good luck all!

StripeyChina · 29/03/2019 13:15

Can i be added to the spreadsheet pls?
I was 11st 5 to begin with. Will weigh on Mondays i think?
