I am starting a diet tomorrow, anyone care to join me.

I need to shift at least two and a half stone of lard, I feel hideous.

My first weigh in I lost nothing, which was de-motivating. I now have the week from hell coming up work- wise, two nights in a hotel, long days, should be over by Friday, but I am just going to have to make it through each day with my sanity intact. I worked 7 hours today (Sun). It will continue like that til well into next week.
Last year I lost a stone and a half on Lighter Life - great counsellor, but I tired of the foodpacks & it was expensive.
So I have found a local diet coach; I am speaking to her Thurs. If it feels right I may give it a go. No food packs, real food, & psychology based. I need help with motivation.

Right. It's Monday. It's a fresh start and I've decided I've had enough of feeling negative and having excuses for myself.

Evening! So I managed 17k steps yday and 9k steps today, and I'm taking dd to our first ever toddler dance group tomorrow so that should get some steps in too.

Hope everyone is doing ok, it's gone mighty quiet!

Hope your OK moan, and your week's going better than you thought.
I'm still here, I've been keeping up with my exercise, but find it hard to keep motivated at times! Trying to cut out the snacks, or at least make them healthier, still have good and bad days with it!
Today's a new day!

Hi everyone, just catching up with thread now. I was still 0/35 on Sunday but have lost that random 6lbs that came from nowhere! Have been reasonably good so far this week. Hoping I can keep it up! Fingers crossed that I've lost a pound or 2 by the weekend!

I'm still here, considering jumping ship to slimming world... lack of sleep makes me want to eat and calorie counting just isn't working- at least I can eat but still be on plan if I followed sw...prefer cc though so I can't decide.

I am still here as well! Still back to the same weight😣have been eating uncontrollably! I am now trying to convince myself I am not on a diet but can eat when hungry as long as it's not sweet. Once I start eating anything sweet I can't stop (also trying to avoid crisps). Also trying to do some exercise everyday. Slimming world sounds good I have a weekly plan so trying out some if those recipes. We wil so this! Good luck ladies. Xxx

Hi, all. Hellish work project finished on Weds, & Thurs I met with Diet coach. Weigh in depressing as fatter than I thought. The regime is based on keeping blood sugar up. Also psychology of eating. You can eat some fruits (not grapes, bananas etc), many veg, lean meat, tofu, quark, eggs, carbs. Eat complex carbs (brown rice, whole meal pasta) at evening meal. Not much fat.
The coach & I planned for the next two weeks, I.d.ed stress days & developed a plan of action. I have created a folder on my desk top called 100 days, as I reckon it will take that long to establish better eating habits, and am doing a daily food diary. I won’t officially weigh in again for two weeks, but I will keep you posted. Day one has begun!

How you gettin on moan? that that's complicated although you also sound organised so well done!

Weigh day today.. Blush ... nuff said!

I've been writing lists and meal plans though and heading out to stock the cupboard with all things sw. I CANNOT bear another frumpy summer so this is my last chance before it will be too late. Plan on posting here a lot more so sorry guys you will end up sick of me!

I am on day four; day 1 was tough, but now Iam starting to get into a routine. I have a long driving day today (4+ hrs) so the plan is a bag of apples in car & 3 (!) almonds. Sleeping well & glad that, at last, sun is shining.

Moan ranger glad the diet coach is working. A few tough days in the beginning will pay off in long run. @pocket I definitely don't want another frumpy summer either! I ate ridiculously yesterday but today I have gone back on the harcombe diet. I have such an unhealthy relationship with food I need to control my cravings...they rule my life! Last time I did this my cravings vanished. Tough 5 days ahead. Good luck guys. Xxx

So day 1(again ) and I've managed it! Had 8 Syns in total I haven't been hungry once and I've cooked properly for the first time in ages. I also did 21k steps my feet are tingling and I'm ready for bed!

I've just googled the Harcombe Diet- it sounds brutal! How did you get on?

@Nicecupofcoco did you start sw today?! Consider this your nudge if you haven't Grin

Well done @pocket sounds like you are off to a good start! Day 2 of the harcombe. Messed up a bit yesterday as thought kidney beans were veg! Technically they are not allowed however I haven't eaten anything sugary and I swear my cravings are going. Feeling really positive. Am determined this time! Going through a rubbish divore but whatever happens I will come out of it slimmer. Stick at it and keep posting everyone.. always nice to hear how 2 everyone else is getting on. Xxxx
