Anyone in?

Im doing dry jan which will help, better meal planning, and upping the water intake. No official "plan" in mind yet but will look to choosing one soon.

Im weighing in Jan1st, currently just shy of 14stone. I need to hit 9 1/2 to hit a healthy BMI.

Winnie go you!!!!!! How do you feel?

WhenCanISleepAgain · 11/01/2019 07:00

Well done dwangela and winnie!

AFridgeTooFar · 11/01/2019 07:03

Sorry dwangela. Genuine excuse- I can only see one post at a time on my phone...takes me ages to catch up! 🤣

LittleDoritt · 11/01/2019 07:17

Awesome Winnie!

Fiontar649 · 11/01/2019 07:23

That's great Winnie - that'll give you the motivation to keep going.

TulipsInbloom1 · 11/01/2019 07:24

fridge I hopped on the scale this morning and am a lb up since Tuesday too. I've massively upped my steps so am wondering if that's played a part. Either way, I'm only counting Tuesday's weighs so that's 4 days to double up my efforts.

Had a sneaky Friday W/I - I do that to keep me going over the weekend. Mon-Fri I don't find it too hard to stick to plain, simple meals (pretty much same breakfast, lunch and dinner each day) but at the weekend, I get a bit bored.

AFridgeTooFar · 11/01/2019 07:41

@Tulips@ please tell me you GZF? If your muscles are even slightly aching (mine are screaming) they'll be "damaged"- but GOOD damaged! Little minute tears which fill with water while they're repairing to cushion them it's all healthy, and it's all temporary. In fact, I wish I'd weighed last night now...it would have probably been more than 1lb!

You're into the second week of being healthier than you've been in fuck knows how long. How do you feel? How is your skin? Your hair?

Are you going to listen to your body? Or an electronic lump of metal which has no clue what you've been doing to improve your life this week?

Pep talk over 🤣💥

TulipsInbloom1 · 11/01/2019 07:44

Haha thanks fridge. I'm definitely not bothered about the number, and that makes sense what you say about the muscles etc. I absolutely feel healthier, and slightly smug Grin about how well I'm eating and drinking.

FUCK THAT DAMN PIECE OF MACHINERY! 😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛

Would an extremely silly selfie cheer you up?

Winnie2019 · 11/01/2019 07:53

Thanks everyone. I feel good, now to get used to slower weight loss. Generally I'm a pound a week person.

DwangelaForever · 11/01/2019 08:11

Amazing @winnie2019 keep it up

surferjet · 11/01/2019 08:13

9 lb in 9 days!
Amazing.
I’d be so happy with that, it’s taking me a year to lose 4 lb. I just can’t stick to healthy eating.
Go you!

LittleDoritt · 11/01/2019 08:17

I had a cheeky Friday weigh in too and the number is going down nicely. I was feeling quite fat and cumbersome this morning so it's given me a little boost. Weird how our brains and our bodies play tricks on each other.

theredcarandthebluecar · 11/01/2019 08:35

Morning all - I've been watching all week but not posted before. Started SW last Friday, want to lose 6 stone - hopefully this year ! First weigh in this morning -8.5 lbs. obviously will be a lot less in future weeks but a damn fine start!

Well done on all the losses.

mrbob · 11/01/2019 08:42

Wow everyone is doing amazingly. I feel really bloated despite eating almost nothing so am too scared to weigh myself just now. Am also so exhausted I am can't be arsed to make dinner which helps with the whole diet thing though!

StealthNinjaMum · 11/01/2019 08:42

Well done dwangela and winnie that's fantastic news about your losses.

StealthNinjaMum · 11/01/2019 08:50

Well done redcarbluecar and littledorrit

Bad news at my end. I have easily been eating under 1000 cals all week and have put on weight since Tuesday. I even put on weight since yesterday. I think I need to stop weighing myself, drink more water and eat less processed food. I'm not really looking after myself, normally I'd make soup but I've been buying tinned for convenience which is probably full of salt. I can also feel a big spot coming on my chin so I look delightful at the moment. I have to do some admin now but think I'll pop out later to buy lots of fresh veg.

GreyandGrumpy48 · 11/01/2019 08:53

Brilliant Winnie that’s amazing. I got through my slump and kept to plan. Feeling bloated this morning though so i’ll Try and get out for a brisk walk later. Looking forward to the weekend and getting some proper exercise in I have been so tired this week I haven’t managed much at all.

PrivateCello · 11/01/2019 09:02

Well done you guys, motivating to hear how well you are doing, keeps me going!

SNM you could just be bunged up and need a big poo! If you are finding it hard to prepare and cook right now, you can get pre prepared vegs and do quick stir fry etc. Sorry you are having a hard time, and I know it’s an old cliche but time is a great healer. You are doing well, keep going.

LittleDoritt · 11/01/2019 09:03

Welcome Redcar and congrats on the 8.5lbs. What a start!

StealthNinjaMum · 11/01/2019 09:06

Thanks private I think you're right I am very bunged up. I will definitely focus on fresh fruit and veg and will get through this, I'm just so impatient (as we all are!)

PrivateCello · 11/01/2019 09:09

I am the same, just want results now! Grin

PrivateCello · 11/01/2019 09:11

What y’all eating today?
I have got vegs and eggs for lunch plus an apple and will do a quick noodles vegs and chicken for dinner.
