Anyone in?

Im doing dry jan which will help, better meal planning, and upping the water intake. No official "plan" in mind yet but will look to choosing one soon.

Im weighing in Jan1st, currently just shy of 14stone. I need to hit 9 1/2 to hit a healthy BMI.

AFridgeTooFar as I've been losing weight one if my most favourite passtimes is trying on clothes I have no intention of buying in order to
(a) see what size I can fit in
(b) see what I look like in completely different styles than I usually wear. (I especially love trying on ballgowns and evening wear)

StealthNinjaMum · 10/01/2019 16:56

A bad day for me too. I have had a box of green and blacks chocolates in the dining room since before Xmas and have just had no desire to eat them. We had visitors yesterday and I kept shoving them down their throats but there were loads left so I have eaten 350 calories of bloody chocolate today. I know I'll still be under my 1200 target but I am so angry with myself. Might throw them in the bin when dc aren't looking.

WhenCanISleepAgain · 10/01/2019 17:38

Sorry you’ve had a bad day Stealth, I really struggle when I know there’s chocolate in the house.

Looking forward to new outfits too fridge and fate! Suspect my slim-me style might be quite different to current me...

PrivateCello · 10/01/2019 18:26

Sorry you had a bad day StealthNinjaMum, you are dealing with a lot at the moment so please be kind to yourself. Tomorrow is another day and it can all be salvaged.

I feel the same as I don’t have as many full photos with my daughter as I had with my son. Only loads of headshots with her! She’s only 8 months so hopefully by the time she’s a year I will have lost some weight and as a PP suggested can do a photo shoot!
Tulips I also try to eat quickly in my half an hour break to fit in a 15 minutes walk, so I take quick and easy lunches that can be eaten cold.
Fridge good job on the long walk, glad you are feeling better today!

Hope everyone is okay!

PrivateCello · 10/01/2019 18:30

DwangelaForever how was it?

NakedAvenger · 10/01/2019 18:34

Five days into Blood sugar diet (and no booze during week) and I'm 7lb down already. I know it's water weight and next week will slow down massively but ill take that! Moved down to the next stone level too which is a great feeling 14 - 13.
I'm usually most vulnerable to falling of the wagon or getting lax with calories around week 3 when loss takes a dip so I may need moral support then!!

Elmashbu · 10/01/2019 18:52

I am really struggling today headache tired and tonight's tea was shite (dunno if the meat had turned)

There is ice cream in freezer and I am working so hard not to eat it. How much Ice cream is acceptable to give your children for supper Grin

AFridgeTooFar · 10/01/2019 19:07

Agreed- I have a feeling week three will be tough.

I still haven't lost the excitement or enthusiasm- but no doubt it'll come.

I found a pair of GORGEOUS size 20 jeans in a charity shop today...

Tried them on, and they're too bastard big! 🤣

StealthNinjaMum · 10/01/2019 19:10

Thanks privatecello I am annoyed with my lack of willpower but you're right tomorrow is another day.

Xenadog · 10/01/2019 20:07

Gah! I’ve eaten chocolate today - I didn’t even like it but craved it. Actually I didn’t crave it, it was just there so I had some.

I need to really get my head into this. I know I can lose weight but I’m sabotaging myself.

I could just kick myself now.

DwangelaForever · 10/01/2019 20:21

I lost 4lbs!!! Delighted.

DwangelaForever · 10/01/2019 20:21

@privatecello 4lbs!!

TulipsInbloom1 · 10/01/2019 20:59

Well done that’s great

DwangelaForever · 10/01/2019 21:16

Thank you! I'm delighted as I've been so good all week! Hoping for another good loss next week!

Fiontar649 · 10/01/2019 21:18

That's great Dwangela!

Week three... it's going to be a toughie. End of January, waiting for pay day, generally glum.

We'll have to huddle!

PrivateCello · 10/01/2019 21:19

Great result, fantastic!

LittleDoritt · 10/01/2019 21:55

Well done Dwangela!

On the Whole 30 diet they say that more people drop out on day 10 than any other day, so well done to everyone who stayed strong today!

Sorry for those who are struggling - keep going, keep going, keep going. This is just a tiny blip along the long long road we are all on together.

I ate well today but DH sautéed the potatoes in our evening meal to death and back so I must have had about a zillion calories just from them alone. Nothing processed or sugary though and still no dairy or booze or even caffeine so I'm still pleased with my progress.

CarrotPuff · 10/01/2019 22:00

Not sure how this week will go weight loss wise, just started my period ☹️ but I don't feel as bloated as I normally do, and my tighter pants seem not as tight 😄

DrMadelineMaxwell · 10/01/2019 22:29

Officially I've sts this week, but that's because I skipped 2 weeks of ww classes over Christmas. I know I'd put on about 3lb, so I've lost that 3lb I'd put on. :) Happy days.

I'm below 13st (just) and now want to get to 12.4, which was the weight I always used to be unhappy at being, before I was put on the medication that caused me to gain some weight and find it harder to lose it.

wizzler · 10/01/2019 22:47

Well done Dwangelo.
Keep going everyone. The hardest thing to do is keep going after you've fallen off the wagon

Day 10 of no choc completed. Starting to notice a difference in how my clothes fit now.

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 11/01/2019 06:20

Hang in there @GreyandGrumpy48 . Now is when you're most tested.

I think it's helpful to remember the only person you're letting down is yourself. You started this for you so finish it for you Grin

I had to keep repeating that while eating salad in a room full of dominoes pizza yesterday Hmm

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 11/01/2019 06:21

Well done @DwangelaForever ! That's a great loss.

Winnie2019 · 11/01/2019 06:36

9 day detox completed. 9.25 lb lost - I'm pleased with that! The kick-start that I needed.

AFridgeTooFar · 11/01/2019 06:43

Morning beauts!

All the exercise yesterday made the scales go up by lb this morning!

Meh! I feel AWESOME!
