Getting slim over the summer failed so how about less fat before Christmas?

I had great intentions at the beginning of the summer but the barbecues and the wine and the ice cream and the generally being out of routine ruined all that.

Well technically me being a greedy shite ruined it !!

So my next goal is Christmas.

I need to lose 3 stone and I am going to be realistic for a change and look at a stone and a half by then.

Anyone care to join me ?

And if you could hang around and give me a kick every now and then that would be great too !

Just weighed in at 11.4 so I need to lose a good couple of stones. I'm just going to eat less, much less, and move my ass a bit more.

It's really beginning to upset me, nothing fits.

Ooh, can I join please? I lost 3st at the beginning of the year but have put half a stone back on since then. I’m currently 11st 7 and need to lose another 2.5 stone to get to my ideal weight. I’m hoping for a 2 stone loss by Christmas.

What I would love to do is
stop snacking completely
Gym every other day
No booze mon-thurs

I will be happy if I can
Gym twice a week and a good walk once a week
One snack a day
At least 2 booze free days a week.

The most important thing is to keep focussed on getting healthier and not be all gung ho for a week and then give up and stuff my face until I feel shite again.

What's your plan ?

I am going to weigh tomorrow which I am scared about but I can't keep putting it off.
Have a horrid feeling I am going to need to lose more than 3 stone ......

My plan is to follow the Slimming World plan which is how I lost the 3st originally. I’ve been an absolute pig lately and been eating just for the sake of it so I need to get my head back into it.

I’m going to do a meal plan and go shopping today. I’m going to walk to and from work as much as I can too (half an hour each way). Hopefully once the kids are back at school I can get back into a routine and start losing weight again.

Can I join? I need to lose around 3 stone too, and I turn 40 in January, so 1.5 to 2 off by Christmas would be amazing!

I'll be using my fitness pal and getting 10k steps in every day to start.

Chipotlejars I had a real wake up call when I saw myself sat in front of a full length mirror at the hairdressers yesterday. Pretty disgusted with myself to be honest, but it was all my doing.

Same here Cherryheath! No one to blame but myself! Feel so disappointed in myself as I have been losing the same half stone and putting it back on again for two years Blush Really determined to do better this time.

I'll join you. 1.5 stone before Christmas would make me really happy. I'm 11st 7lbs and should be 9st7lbs, so 2 stone to lose in total. I just like food and it's also my stress release.

Really got to find an alternative to comfort eating as this autumn is going to be incredibly stressful due to a number of really bad family problems (serious/fatal illness in a young relative in its final stages; geriatric impossible father having an op and moving house; DH has no job...)

I'd like to:
Give up sugar and processed foods
No alcohol Mon-Thurs
No snacking
serious exercise 4x per week or more.

Walked miles every day on holiday last week, and though I didn't lose an ounce, I really did feel better and my clothes look (a tiny bit) better too.

Who has ideas for what to do when you want to comfort eat?

Can I join too please? Have had an awful year and taken it out on the biscuit tin. Need to stop being such a pig. Would love to lose 3st but 1.5 would be a great start. Really really need to do some exercise as well.

Count me in please. I managed the complete couch to 5k this summer but haven't lost any weight need to cut out the Cake and Wine. If I could manage a stone and a half by Christmas that would be good.

I've just dragged my sorry ass round the local half marathon! It was bloody hot! I've another half marathon coming up for which I'd like to be somewhat lighter!

Currently 12.6 want to be 10. Turning 30 in January. If I could be 11.6 by Christmas I'd be well on the way to goal!
