Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

Nice one happier. That was so worth tracking for.
I'm at just under 134 so a 2-3 lb gain in December. That will be gone in January.

More decluttering today.

Healthy eating sucks at times

Lovely manicure happier, on the drive back from my weekend away - can’t wait to get into my PJ’s! About the only clothes that don’t cut my circulation off😂

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/12/2018 17:43

Oh I love that colour happier.

Up another 2lb today. I know I know about daily weights.
2 Jan, back on it again...

Not2bObvious · 31/12/2018 11:44

I have faced the scales and the scales was not good. A whopping 7.6lbs up in around 10 days, although I know around 2 of that should fall off in a day or so. But yeah, it was about what I expected. Found it nigh on impossible to hit the stop button. I literally feel so smothered by my clothes I contemplated buying a larger pair of jeans yesterday but decided against it. Anyway I really enjoyed my Christmas, so it was worth it. Back to 1700 a day budget even if today might be a bit tricky, I’ll catch up over the next couple of days. The one thing I didn’t neglect was my steps so I guess it could have been worse. Off for a jog soon, hoping to do park run in the morning if I behave myself tonight, with family for tonight but won’t overdo the 🍷
Happy New Year!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/12/2018 16:44

Slinking back in shamefaced... if you’ll have me back 😳😳😳2019 needs to be the year I make some sort of effort

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/01/2019 09:15

Course we will cag. Welcome back. I think we will be needing a new thread soon.

Up again today. 1/2 a stone to come off now. FFS my own fault.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/01/2019 09:16

What's your plan cag? Calorie counting? Cutting out the junk? Walking when you can?

Cagliostro · 01/01/2019 09:29

No idea 😳😭 feel totally overwhelmed TBH.

Mainly I need to have less snacks though I think. That’s my mega downfall.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/01/2019 10:48

Ok, baby steps.
Step 1 increase your water intake. You may find you snack less.

  1. Keep a food diary to see what you eat and how Calorific it is. My fitness Pal will help you with this. Ignore that it wants you to eat 1200 cals, that is shite. Track everything you eat and see.
I'm on mfp of you want to friend me. Drop me a pm. I will be able to see your diary and you mine.

I never profess to bring an expert but that's where I started.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/01/2019 10:49

Weigh every day at the same time and track daily. You will have daily fluctuations but you will soon see a pattern.

Happierwithouthim · 01/01/2019 11:52

I'm on mfp cag too & find it great even when I don't stick to my 'rules' I can see why I was hungry certain days because breakfast wasn't as filling or something like that.

No sneaking back at all we're delighted to have everyone here Grin

New thread soon alright, ironic on New Year's Day Grin

Cagliostro · 01/01/2019 14:17

Aw thanks lovelies. Today I’ve started a memo on my phone for food and activity (mainly for housework and self care etc as I’m shit at that) and another for food spends. I’m hoping that being more mindful will help. To be honest my diet has been so awful lately that just cutting back on chocolate etc without counting calories will make a big difference 😳

MFP messed me right up when I tried it sadly. Being very “all or nothing” in my autistic brain, I got really panicky over home cooked food and not being able to track precise amounts, and not knowing exact portions etc, I was an anxious mess 😳

Cagliostro · 01/01/2019 14:18

I have had 1l of water so far today :) I love water but always forget so good shout to start on that.

Happierwithouthim · 01/01/2019 15:39

Cag that's a great plan.
I'm not great for self care either so my project now is getting my nails strengthened and looked after & when they've grown I'll use voucher my friend gave me to get a two week manicure for them I think.

Water is an easy thing to do but so easy to let it slip I know I've not hit 3 litres a day since before the weekend.

I'm going to get back into the organised mum method for the house too.

WreckTangled · 01/01/2019 16:37

Right I'm in. starting tomorrow

Starting weight 9st4
Ideal weight 8st3

Plan:

No snacks, lower carb dinner (mainly to help by sugar levels), soup or salad for lunch.

Biscuits etc aren't banned but have to be eaten as part of a meal.

Much more water. Today I have had two coffees and that's it Blush it'll be easier once I'm back at work. Coffee will still feature heavily though!

Have made six portions of soup today (roasted parsnip and carrot probably cost £1.20 for the whole lot so 20p per portion) which will be work lunches once I go back.
