Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

I’d like to join in if that’s ok. Would like to connect with other Team RH’ers and I’m an aspiring Frugaleer
I’ve been doing Team RH for around 15 months, I’m also tracking my average weight, such a better way to weigh🤗 Gamechanger imho.
I’m on 1700 a day and I’m recovering from post holiday bloat, just waiting to see tomorrow how my week panned out - my average was around 156 but it’s closer to 160’ish (had been up to 169 post holsBlush).
From a frugal POV I’ve been working on eating what’s in the freezer - so far not too bad. I stock up on my protein rich meats when on offer & menu plan on what’s in the fridge/freezer. I had great savings this month as I was away for over 2 weeks and my wages were unassaulted for around 10 days! So there’s a little nest egg there

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/07/2018 08:03

Hi not2. Come over to the frugaleers too in credit crunch if you want.
I went 500 cals over yesterday and my battery died on my Garmin. Really need to stop being a weak ender.
443 of it was zillionaire sorry bread.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/07/2018 08:04

The Iceland frozen chicken pieces are excellent for protein. £3 for 1kg I think it is. Different flavours too and quite frugal imo

Not2bObvious · 15/07/2018 08:50

Thanks life, must do a trip to Iceland. I know what you mean about not being able to ask advice when you’re not doing what’s advised. I keep working on getting 3 weeks perfect data, of course when I actually follow it to the letter it works! Haha, own worst enemy. Dropping the alcohol to only 1-2 once a week worked the best for me. Meant I could actually stick to 1700 even on weekends. Who knew? (Well probably everyone...)
Nearly time to crawl out of bed to get my last weigh of the week, see what I’ve lost fingers crossed

Not2bObvious · 15/07/2018 09:11

Weekly weigh in done, last weeks average was 164.6, today I’m 160.4 - so pleased with that. I’ve still a few more pounds to get back to losing proper but it’s great to have shifted my huge holiday gain.

missnevermind · 15/07/2018 09:22

Sorry not part of the gang here 😀.
But interested in the ‘average’ weight thing.
Do you weigh yourself every day ? Or several times a week? Just to keep an eye on things

Not2bObvious · 15/07/2018 09:38

I weigh every day first thing, in pounds, input the result into the Fitbit app (you don’t have to have a fitbit) and on a Sunday I see my weekly average. Works great cause it smoothes out those irritating fluctuations. We don’t gain/lose pounds overnight, it’s over time.

I had a good day yesterday. I'm trying to extend the range of food that I can eat from a very tight exclusion diet. Yesterday I had black pudding, which was very tasty and seemed to be fine. I also had some sprite, which was scrumptious, but a bit too acidic really but scrumptious.

Today, second test of black pudding. It's great for iron so I'm really hoping that I could add it to my list of eatables.

SunnyLikeThursday · 15/07/2018 09:50

btw in previous years when I've needed to lose weight I used to weigh myself every morning at the same time, and make a graph of my weight. Doing that, I found it was very quickly obvious when I'd accidentally included something very high in calories in my diet. It usually takes a couple of days before the eating of a high calorie thing shows up as increased weight.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 15/07/2018 10:07

Sunny in Rh fitness we weigh daily too, salty foods also show up and not drinking enough h2o!

Life must check out Iceland chicken pieces - zillionaire sorry bread Grinthat's how you felt after eating it?

Not2 welcome Grin

I drank soda water & lime last night, had stir fry no dessert both nights, none offered one night and no one wanted it last night, but I've a splitting headache!
About to weigh and get weekly average which I don't expect to be good.

Boo up 2lb today

Wolfcub · 15/07/2018 11:27

Still 14.7/14.8 today despite yesterday’s excesses. I am expecting the booze to take a few days to show up on the scales

ChristmasSeacow · 15/07/2018 15:32

Checking in. I weigh on Mondays so will see how things are tomorrow. Hoping for a bit of a loss this week in spite of the gin yesterday, as I’ve been careful with food.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/07/2018 16:51

Ha ha Mammy, no that's how I felt getting in the scales this morning. Chip shop chips and mushy peas today. Hmm

Not2bObvious · 15/07/2018 18:30

2lb up on your average life or 2 lb up since yesterday? I guess as a team rh’er it’ll be your average. It sucks that, my sympathies. I’m trying hard not to remember my average had been down as low as 154.1, seems miles away from 160.4 but hey ho such is the way.
Been buying yellow sticker treats in M&S for the kids as an alternative to fancy ice creams. Saving of probably a fiver! K’ching😁

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/07/2018 19:18

2 up on yesterday. I'm not sweating. it given the fact I've been in a foul mood all weekend it's probably what works have been totm of I still got them

Not2bObvious · 15/07/2018 19:52

Ahh well then no biggie, I’m up 1.6 on yesterday’s weight so in the same boat!

SunnyLikeThursday · 15/07/2018 20:22

I think I'm going to need to start calorie counting too. I've been kind of living on crisps and it's making me gain weight a bit too much. So now I need to calorie count to keep my weight stable as well as diversify my diet a bit. I'll try to shift myself a bit on that.

What is RH?

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/07/2018 20:47

Have you got face book sunny?

SunnyLikeThursday · 15/07/2018 20:50

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/07/2018 20:57

SunnyLikeThursday · 15/07/2018 21:04

I ate actual food today. It was pretty exciting. Sardines and jacket potatoes and what have you. Also so much water. My goodness it's hot at the moment.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/07/2018 07:55

All planned out today, macros hit and calories to spare. Which is a good job really as the weekend was appalling
