Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:

Star Size 10 clothes

Shovelled stone for 30 mins to bring me up to 10000 steps Grin now I need a shower Grin

Mince pies are so not worth the calories Angry used half the calories I had at cinema yesterday but didn't provide equivalent amount of enjoyment Grin

Not2bObvious · 24/12/2018 23:29

I has an almond mince pie happier, kind of like a mince pie crossed with an almond finger. Not worth the 190 cals. Just a shade over maintenance cals, I’m trying my best but dammit it’s too easily done. Happy Christmas all (well us 3, we may have company in a few days haha!)

Happierwithouthim · 24/12/2018 23:32

Sounds nicer than what I had!
Must eat some of Santa's food now, the carrots might be the best option Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/12/2018 07:43

Gosh I was greedy yesterday. Eating for eating sake. Not totally hungry.
Did a short walk though. About a mile and half

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 08:49

Life you're at maintenance stage & so allowed a bit of indulgence like that at Christmas, and you got a walk in too so you've got balance.
I had my blowout for Christmas was cinema on Sunday eve over 1000kcals in one sitting Shock before I wouldn't have tracked that & just ignored the fact that it happened but I planned & enjoyed it. Noticed the effect on my body too, had a flat tummy before it & a squidgy bloated one after glass of wine probably contributed to that too.

Yesterday was first Christmas Day ever tracking. I allowed myself to eat what I wanted once it was mindful instead of mindless. I counted the chocolate fingers instead of guessing how many I ate 5HmmShock, I weighed my dinner out, last night after a glass of Pinot Grigio I contemplated a second helping of dessert but decided against it, in previous years I'd probably have had 3 helpings. It's 395 cals per portion so I think remaining half will be divided in two & frozen for another day.
542 cals over including sausage/bacon/black pudding sandwich for breakfast, choc fingers mid morning, Christmas dinner & dessert and evening glass of wine. No food after 3pm because I simply wasn't hungry 😋 I could've eaten turkey sandwiches around 9pm but didn't.

Scales has fluctuated by 3.5lbs upwards but that's wine & sodium so I'm not going to record for a day or two. I know that's not how Team RH works but it's how I work Grin

Planned fun run 5k today for when dc would be with their df but that's changed now and they'll be home much earlier so I'm going for my own 5k instead now.

Xmas GrinClean up kitchen, dishwasher is full of clean dishes since Friday eve (we were away fri until mon lunchtime)

Not2bObvious · 26/12/2018 09:13

You did brilliant yesterday happier, and to be fair life Christmas Day is the ultimate day for eating for the sake of it! I got an hours walk in yesterday so that was something. Done now for another year. I didn’t really eat after my dinner either, apart from a few chocs. I’m up 4lb on last Fridays weight, but its pure bloat. I’m away this weekend too - that’s going to add to the gluttony 😬

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 09:16

@Not2bObvious I've been so pleased with my new lowest weight on the scales & my achievement this year that I didn't want to throw it away. Listened to a few videos from some of the affiliates and it boosted my motivation too but most of it came from within.

I'm also away this weekend & it's for a friends wedding so I want to look good for that too not be worried about how I look so that helped too.

Not2bObvious · 26/12/2018 09:30

Good for you happier, drink lots of water and keep going the way you are & the 3.5lb bloat will evaporate by the weekend. I think I’ve stretched my stomach! Hungry a LOT

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 11:01

Going to make a Christmas omelette for breakfast with my turkey & ham Grin

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 11:01

Must find my wireless headphones, the normal ones annoyed me while I was out!

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/12/2018 16:56

Christmas Day round 2 here but not too bad. No walk though.
Got a bit of a rich food tummy.
Back to it tomorrow. Going to charge my Garmin and track for a restart too.

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 18:26

I'd breakfast & nothing since as was visiting relatives so I'm stopped for pizza with dc now Xmas Blush

Macros won't be hit but I should be alright for calories

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/12/2018 19:09

From tomorrow it's about eating a ton of fruit and vegetables to get my system going again. Good protein too.

Will worry about the calories when the eating is better

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 20:08

My fibre was shocking today too, tomorrow is another day

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 20:10

1g fibre today so far Shock
600 cals left

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/12/2018 21:12

That's a good offer.
I'm ok for protein though. I'm thinking of getting fybogel for a few weeks just to try and hit it. Still a bugger for me

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 21:28

Won't do any harm

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2018 21:29

I use protein powder once or twice a week so it'll last me ages

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2018 07:37

Yeah mine lasts a few months. I usually use it when I run out of time to eat or having a carb day

Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2018 07:59

What ways do you use it?

I either have a smoothie with banana, avocado, almond milk, berries & protein powder or mix it through my yogurt and berries.

Going swimming with dc this morning.
So I won't get to swim much Sad

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2018 08:02

I tend to just make it and drink it.
I tried mixing with yoghurt and couldn't stand it.
I could try a smoothie, without banana though

134.25 so not too much damage.

Whf today so not many steps. Don't fancy the gym class that is on. But may force myself

Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2018 08:17

The banana just gives body to it I find, tried all bran once for the fibre I'm not keen

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2018 08:45

Banana makes me vomit.
I'm having loads of bran sticks now for brekkie. Not tracked though yet
