Am a bit fed up tonight because despite being very good for the past couple of weeks I have only lost 1 lb this week. I am glad that I've lost something but sometimes it seems that I do better when I cheat than when I stick to the diet! I'm not giving up though because I desperately want to lose weight and this is the best diet plan I've ever done. Will just have to try hard again this week and hope for the best.

Do you have much weight to lose? Sometimes the smaller person will lose weight in smaller amounts. A pound is quite a lot to lose - does your consultant have one of those horrid looking rubber things that shows you what fat looks like? It's quite a lot.

zmandaz · 29/08/2007 20:58

I have loads to lose The thing is I started in May and lost just over 2 stone quite quickly but things seem to have slowed down now and I still have a long way to go to get to target.

andyrobo237 · 29/08/2007 21:08

zamandaz - I started in May also and have lost 8lbs so far! So your 2 stone is fab! I have about another 2 to 3 stone to lose (depends on how I get on) so it will be a long process - I cant seem to follow the plan 100% but keep trying!! It also helps that my consultant is one of the mums at school - so nowhere to hide - the reason why I chose her class, as it is so easy to just stop going! One lady in our class has taken 3 years to lose 4 stone and she looks fab now!

Been out today for cavery - had red day so had loads of meat and veg, the didnt bring desert menu despite us asking, so at least that saved me some syns!

zmandaz · 29/08/2007 21:58

I find it hard to stick to the plans too. I'm fine when I'm at home but if I go into town or out for a meal it all goes pear shaped. I will keep going with it. Like I said before, I have an awful lot of weight to lose - I was overweight before I had DD who is now 11 months and put on loads of weight through pregnancy. But, I'm determined to do it. Thanks for the messages

Hi ladies. Ive been looking at your posts, well done on the losses, I have been doing SW on-line and have stopped it as I can pretty much do it on my own now...... Accept for this.
Does anyone know the syns in a Yackult Light? Per 65 ml bottle 27.3 calories 6.6g carbs 3.6g sugar 0.1g fat 0.1 saturated fat.
Could you tell me????? Also I need to lose about a stone can I realistically lose weight and still have 15 sysn a day? Please say yes.
Thanks

sparkler · 30/08/2007 13:58

1.5 syns Peaches in Yakult light

sparkler · 30/08/2007 13:59

You are allowed between 5 and 15 syns so have them if you need them and so you don't feel deprived. You most certainly lose weight quicker if you use your free foods rather than syns though so try and use FF instead if you can.

peachespaige · 30/08/2007 18:13

Thankyou Sparkler. Its the wine that kills me! Friday comes and I crumble and then of course Sunday lunch would'nt be the same without a glass or two of red......

kid · 31/08/2007 08:29

I am happy with my start back at SW, I lost 2lb without sticking to it rigidly. I am writing down everything I eat from today though and planning my meals to help me.

tiredemma · 31/08/2007 08:31

put on half a pound which im delighted with as I eat like a pig on holiday and was convinced I had put on about 4lbs

sparkler · 31/08/2007 09:17

Half a pound off last night - damn it's so hard and I'm losing it so slowly compared to previous times I've followed plan.
Right - new day, new week. I'm motivated!!!!

Hi Christie. I know it's going slowly because I haven't been sticking to it 100%. I can normally do very well when I do.
