I am completely writing this week off. I have been soooooo bad. But I've enjoyed it. But now it's only a day to weigh in, I feel crap! Why am I so easily led, and why can I not say no? I've put loads on, I can tell by my clothes. I feel like I'm going round in circles all the time. I seem to be sticking at the same few pounds, going up and down like a bride's nightie.

So much for a new start.

TMMJ wow thats excellent..well done you despite the cake

I am really nervous as tommorow night is my weigh in. Thing is I have been really good so will be gutted if it isnt a decent amount.

andyrobo237 · 22/05/2007 20:40

Nemo - good luck for th weigh-in tomorrow - you will be fine as you sound like you have been really focused!

I have been fairly good today - getting into the swing of things slowly - missing bread - I must eat too much and it is a waste to use both b options as bread!

Well done to TMMJ for your 3 lbs - I would like that next week please!

Beth - you sound like me in the past - I must have spent a fortune on various slimming clubs over the years to lose the same stone - kept putting it on, losing a bit, but a bit back on, then lose a bit - each time ending up a few pounds heavier than when I started! I am trying to lose the last half stone of baby weight (DS is 14 weeks and a little love!!) before I tackle the next few stones. Just taking it a 1/4 of a stone at a time, and intend to reward myself with none-food treats for each mini milestone reached! Sounds good in theory but need to put it in practice - also need to up the exercise as well - pram pushing at least 3 times a week!!

In an effort to be more focused and less likely to stray I am attempting to make a menu plan for the next few weeks. Main meals really, I can easily find something to eat during the day. I like green, DH likes a bit of meat occasionally! I'm starting with nemo's DH's eggy rice, what else that's different from wedges and beans??

OP posts:
BethAndHerBrood · 23/05/2007 10:56

I've been trying to find the recipe for the eggy rice on sw online, but i can't find it! Can someone (nemo??) either give me an idiots guide to finding it, or tell me how to do it? Thanks.

Nemo2007 · 23/05/2007 12:20

Did the free bolognaise last night which was quite good. Then used pasta as HE.

I feel ill today which is making me crave everything I shouldnt have from KFC to dominoes...arghhh...just trying to hold of doing something rash!!!

  1. Egg fried rice

Chop a small onion and fry in Fry Light until softened. Add garlic and fry for a further couple of minutes. Add a beaten egg and scramble around with the onion and garlic. When cooked through add 283g/10oz cooked brown rice (much nicer and more filling than white in this dish), 71g/2½oz of frozen peas and a good splash of light soy sauce. Stir fry until the peas are cooked through. Can be eaten cold or reheated in the microwave.

Hint: Also nice with mushrooms or 170g prawns (6 Syns or a Healthy Extra b choice on Green)

Total Syns: Green: FREE, Original: 22½ Syns

Hello everyone

Lovely bright shiny new thread

Sorry I have been AWOL the past couple of weeks. I have had a bad time & filled it all in with food

weigh-in tonight & I know I have gained about 5lb

All my own fault of course, I have eaten nothing healthy over the last few weeks as the week I had gained half a pound I had been so good & been to gym & spin classes etc....

Anyway. Lots of new names, welcome

Nemo2007 · 23/05/2007 12:31
