I've had a similar weekend to you FireFlyFairy!
Starting again tomorrow. Does anybody know if you can count Ryvita Goodness bars as any type of HE? I've just bought a box so please say yes! x

lynds2509 · 27/08/2007 21:14

Hi all, i am extremely new both to the slimming world plan and to this thread, so helloooo. So hope to meet lots of new people for support when the munchies attack, lol. Lynds

sparkler · 28/08/2007 13:34

Ryvita goodness bars are 2 syns each.

FFF - I'm with you. On my second week of returning to SW and it's just not going as well as it used to. Seems to have been one thing after another getting in the way. It was DH's birthday at the weekend and we went out for an all you can eat chinese. How can you be good there? You could try but it's all too yummy to avoid. Then we had a huge chocolate birthday cake which I am glad to say has almost gone.
Went for a day out yesterday and packed a green day picnic. Thing is we got back so late and so tired we went to fish and chip shop for tea . I had willpower and didn't order anything for myself but did polish off dds' leftovers - does that count?

sparkler · 28/08/2007 13:34

Welcome lynds!

kid · 28/08/2007 13:37

Back from my holiday and definitely back to SW. Started it today (even though I got home on Sunday) and intend to stick to it until I reach my target which seems a long way away!
Anyone have the latest PW?

sparkler · 28/08/2007 14:14

STEAK was the last password

hello all

well went last week and lost 2 1/2 pound so 19 lb all in all and got my club 10 but could not wait to get my certificate so getting it this week!

this week has been a bit hit and miss - it has been a hard week and was hit big by sugar cravings but have since realised that i was due on and i always crave sugar! so i have forgiven myself.

i think i may have had a gain this week but as it is my star week i am not going to be too bothered. I am on holiday the week after and then dd is back at school so i figure it will be a whole lot easier then and I am going for another stone and see where i am then.

I had joined another thread but have decided along with my mum that we are going to join slimming world on Monday and wanted to have a headstart by joining you here if you don't mind How is everybody doing? Are you all exercising as well as healthy eating? Any tips would be greatly apprecited

lynds2509 · 28/08/2007 17:22

thanks sparkler, they were worth it though, i do like green days but get a bit bored with all the beans n potatoes,

andyrobo237 · 28/08/2007 19:28

Well another 1 lb here - making 8 in total! Not bad considering as went to BBQ at weekend!

Only another 6lbs to my next sparkly sticker!!

Only another 35lbs to target!!!!!!!

PW is gardening BTW!!

andyrobo237 · 28/08/2007 19:29

Lynds = have you tried the Heinz Meanz Beanz - free on a green day - sweet chilli and some of the other flavours are free on a green day - had them tonight with sausages and potatoes - was fab!

lynds2509 · 28/08/2007 20:12

Hi andyrobo, been shopping tonight and kept my eye out for different flavour beans but no luck, am gonna try a red day tomoz but i´ve still not got properly to grips with the he a and b´s , but have just bought a red day recipe book off ebay, so hopefully will get a bit of inspiration... personally i dont think that red days fill you up as much... mostly because i am scared of eating any bread or potatoes at all on red days... any way enough of the waffling and thanks for the advice,

grinningbee · 28/08/2007 20:34

Hi all!

I'm feeling pretty pleased this week. You know the feeling when you get down to another stone. I am no longer a 16 stone something. Yay!!

Another half a pound and I'll have reached my Club 10.

Still a loooooooong way to go, but 83.5 to lose sounds a lot better then 108.

Here's a question for you - do you find you lose more on green days than red days? I've been doing mostly green and it seems to be working better, at least at the moment.

I've had a really bad craving for pork scratchings but I've managed to avoid them. Nectarines just aren't the same though...

lol

sparkler · 28/08/2007 22:53

Gah!! It's all going wrong. I started with a glass of wine - had all my syns left - then had another - then I didn't care and before I knew it the chocolate was out and I'd had half a bottle of wine. Luckily DH had the other half otherwise I'm sure I would have drunk it. Now feeling really cross with myself. Second weigh in Thursday and it's not going to be good.

MamaG · 29/08/2007 09:09
