Of course you can do it Lexiloo ! You have decided you need to get back in control of your weight which is the 1st step. The next is digging deep for the willpower to overcome the bad habits. It can be done. I've read the Michael Moseley Blood Sugar diet too. Makes total sense. But yes it is restrictive.
I'm on day 7 of the 10 day detox diet, which is very similar to Michael Moseley but cut out dairy & caffeine too for 1st 10 days. Like Before I have a bit of a bad relationship with food - I'm either very in control or I'm opposite and in F-it mode & binge. Long term these diets are restrictive, but the principals really work. And it has kick-started me to stop the bad cycle that I've been in since January, and loose the stone that I regained after loosing it last year.
I'm no sugar, no carbs (except 1 tiny portion a day which I think my digestion needs for fibre, e.g. tablespoon brown rice) no alcohol, no dairy, no legumes, no fruit. It's tough, but I can SO feel it in a week, lost the bloat, stomach has shrunk, got my mindset back on track, and already lost 5lbs but not admitting to them as it was probably alcohol calories floating around my body
It's so much in the mind. Dig deep, one day at time, meal-plan with protein and veg, and with any luck you'll be down in the 80kg bracket before you know it.
Sorry to lecture ...
Last - you sound stressed / anxious. Are you OK? Anything you can do to get yourself thinking positive and rested, so you get sleep?
Fontella - Good advice to stop when full & not have lunch because it is lunchtime! How are you doing Jellybean?
