hi,all welcome and lets kick these wobbly bits into the grass

im nearly 47

size 18 need to lose 4 stone and hugely carry on my belly )look very pregnant) but am not

started sunday and am going to cut calories,up protein,lessen carbs,but not to cut altogether

i dont work and suffer from bi=polar and the meds make me very lethargic as they sedate so im gonna have to fight that one

im a junk/carb lover and last few days have had a crashing headache which im putting down to lack of sugar but food wise i have been good

Yes it is a good feeling.

It sounds like you're learning moderation Another which is a good thing especially when you reach your goal and start maintaining. I do find that I want something more if I deny myself it than I do if I tell myself I can eat it.

Exactly, I think being able to have something but choosing not to or just a small amount is better than flat out deprivation.
Official weekly weigh in in the morning but not expecting anything as nothing had budged when I checked this morning. Friday I'm going out for food and drinks and then sunday it's another family buffet for the football so going to aim for damage limitation for the rest of the week and get stricter from monday and reduce some of the crappy carbs I eat.

Not doing too badly this week. Went out with DD yesterday, doing some shopping and had a burger for lunch. Have also had some chocolate, cake and crisps the last couple of days but am still under my weekly calorie allowance. The good news is instead of eating all the chocolate bar yesterday like I would have done at one point I stopped after about 4 pieces and the rest is still in the fridge. The crisp were pringles and normally I would have ate the whole lot this time I've had a few and the rest are still there, so a small victory for my eating habits.

How is everybody else doing?

Hello everyone - sorry not been on! Came back from half term holiday with sickness bug and my youngest with tonsillitis 😩 it’s been half term hell, to top it off it was TOM Sad

We all on the mend now and I’m planning on starting mfp again from tomorrow, sounds like you all are doing well, I’m feeling like I’m full of excuses at the moment, I’m glad you got me panda Grin

Will aim for checking in with you all daily as I need accountability.

Sorry to hear you and youngest DC have been unwell Ellie. Glad you are on the mend now. Don't worry too much about losing weight just now. Concentrate on making healthy food choices but not too much about calories until you're ready to start again. We'll be here for you when you're ready.

Thanks panda I just feel so low about it all at the moment, every night I go to bed thinking tomorrow I’ll start, then by lunch I’ve completely spoilt it Sad

Hasn’t helped with bring unwell, but it’s like I’m on a mission to get as fat as possible! I’m still 13.8 so lost absolutely 0 Blush Shock

I put a pound on over the weekend but I expected that as I ate too much crap.
Sticking to lower carb for a few weeks for a boost, started yesterday and it's going well so far so fingers crossed!

It's crap trying to diet when you're poorly and fed up Ellie I had a stinking cold over the weekend so came home from work saturday evening and ate a pack of doughnuts to myself Blush
