pandakaz how you getting on?

AnotherRanger · 06/02/2018 12:58

Yeah I need to stop getting on the scales midweek and stick to thursday mornings.
I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't change because I feel slimmer, I'm exercising more and eating less so it'll come down eventually

Springiscoming123 · 06/02/2018 13:04

This is why I now weigh weekly , if I see the scale go up, rather than motivate me to be strict, I stuff my face thinking what's the point grin

omg them are my thoughts to

Bad days and good here.

Sunday I was fine during the day but ate 3 chocolate biscuits at work. The biscuits are in the fridge in the shed so I took my shoes off to prevent me going outside again but ate a bourbon later on Blush

Yesterday was good, just the 3 meals and an apple. Today I had a chocolate biscuit and a piece of soreen banana loaf, which I hadn't planned on, this afternoon.

I've been feeling hungrier than usual these last few days. I suspect it's because I started my period last Friday. I do tend to feel hungrier then. I weighed myself yesterday and have put the 1lb back on that I lost the week before, still could be worse. Tomorrow is a new day, a clean slate so to speak.

Ellieboolou27 · 07/02/2018 09:17

panda just think back to May last year, you came on here 4 stone heavier - I'm in awe that you lost all that weight by yourself with no clubs or fad diets, you are amazing, I often think of you for motivation to keep logging on mfp and taking each day at a time as I'd love you to be where you are now! Very deep but true!

Periods really knock me off too, you are 3 chocolate biscuits, last May you'd have probably eaten the packet Grin

Ellieboolou27 · 07/02/2018 09:17

*ate Smile

MissingPanda · 07/02/2018 09:52

Ellie thank you Blush lovely of you to say that.

The support I got from you and the othwrs was invaluable then and is now. Btw you're right, I probably would have eaten the whole packet last May Grin 😂

I'm feeling a lot better this morning for some reason. Still on TOTM but don't feel as empty as I have the last few days, even though I haven't have breakfast yet. We'll see how it goes the rest of the day.

I see you've been doing well which just goes to prove you too can do it. Those days will add up to become weeks, then months and the weight will reduce until you reach your goal.

We can do this! All of us...one day at a time.

AnotherRanger · 07/02/2018 23:53

Official weigh day tomorrow, not expecting any movement though after I checked the other day which is annoying when I've been sooo good 😣

Ellieboolou27 · 08/02/2018 07:35

another sometimes you stay the same then all of a sudden have a bigger loss, keep motivated, your doing great, it's freezing where I am and I'm tempted to eat thick white doorstep toast and butter, but I'm thinking ahead of spring / summer when I'll be fat and sweaty if I don't keep on track Wink

AnotherRanger · 08/02/2018 09:17

1.2lbs down and back in the 10s so very happy with that!
Haha that was like me yesterday Ellie DS left some of his pizza and I was soo tempted to hoover up the rest as pizza is my weakness but I thought about all the nice clothes I'll be able to wear this summer if I stay on track so the pizza went in the bin instead

MissingPanda · 08/02/2018 10:35

Well done Another brilliant! Grin

I'm just taking it day to day atm. I'm so over this TOTM. It usually lasts 5 days max, I'm on day 7 and it shows no sign of stopping. I'm 46 so I guess things will change but it's a pita, feeling bloated. At least the cravings for sweet stuff seem to have gone.

Ellie everytime you resist that toast look on it as yet another success. I've often found looking at it that way helps to motivate me to continue eating healthily.

How's everyone else doing?

Ellieboolou27 · 08/02/2018 21:17

Excellent another
I've been very good today and feeling positive, the weekend might be challenging but I've been saving a few extra calories so I can relax a bit eat chocolate or crisps Grin

Ellieboolou27 · 08/02/2018 21:38

I've found that this week I've been having my main meal around 5.30-6 with the kids, this stops me from making bad choices once they've gone to bed as by that time I'd be starving so ended up eating junk whilst cooking our dinner, now I'm ok with a bit of a snack such as a few crackers with olives and a dairy lea triangle.

Hope I can keep it up but taking it a day at a time too

Springiscoming123 · 09/02/2018 08:25

well i thought i had been good this week bar a few chocolates on my birthday but have gained a 1lb

Has everyone got lost? I had to go to page 2 to find this Grin

I fell off the wagon myself last week and put another lb on when I weighed myself Monday. I've had three good days since then. I've started inputting into MFP again. Not doing so meant I was letting a chocolate bar/cake sneak in here and there. Making myself accountable by putting everything down means I'm less likely to eat it.

How is everyone else doing?

AnotherRanger · 15/02/2018 12:19

I'm still here! Grin It fell off my list
I lost 1.8lbs this morning despite this week having a family buffet and tea at pizza hut for DS's birthday.
11 more pounds to go to get down to my first goal!

MissingPanda · 15/02/2018 18:55

Well done Another Grin It won't be long before you achieve that first goal.

I've come in under my calories again. There's even enough left for a small piece of chocolate if I decide I want to later. After struggling since the beginning of January something seems to have clicked, just the way it did last time, but we'll see. Hopefully this will be the start of my losing the rest of the weight I need to.

Ellieboolou27 · 17/02/2018 21:40

Hi all, been on holiday as half term here! Been bloody awful if I'm truthful, we are self catering but I've not even opened mfp app Blush

Back tomorrow night so plan to start tracking again on Tuesday as Monday it's my brother 30th so CAKE!!!!!
Well done panda and another good to see your sticking it out, ke ps me motivated for once I'm back Smile

AnotherRanger · 18/02/2018 16:54

How's everyone getting on?
I've done really well this week cutting out crappy snacks especially in the evening.
I'm starting to borrow bits from different diets...sticking to mfp to check calories...using the no s diet to cut out snacks during the week and now I've ordered Chloe Madeley's book as a friend recommended it for the recipes and workouts plus the thread on here seemed positive.
I'm fitting into my old jeans and my face looks much better so I'm determined to carry on!

MissingPanda · 18/02/2018 22:33

Well done Another. Nothing wrong with cherry picking bits of diets if that's what works.

I'm doing okay this week myself Smile

I've kept within my calories and have eaten relatively healthily most days. Weigh in day tomorrow so hoping for a loss. I've put a pound on each of the last two weigh ins but I have had a period and the last time I had one I did exactly the same. I put 1lb on for each of the two weigh ins after it started then lost so we'll see.

How's everyone else doing?

Woohooooo!!!

I've just weighed myself. As I said in my pp I'd put on 1lb each WI for the last two, taking me to 12st 3lb, but I was hoping that was because of TOTM. Today I weighed 11st 10lb 😁😁😁 so happy, especially as I'd been struggling since the beginning of January.

AnotherRanger · 19/02/2018 11:49

Wow well done Panda that's amazing!

MissingPanda · 19/02/2018 13:22

Thanks Another. I suspect most of it was bloat but I'm just pleased to be back to my pre christmas weight.

AnotherRanger · 20/02/2018 17:20

It's still such a good feeling and good motivation to carry on.
I had the night off last night as we all watched the football so had pizza and doughballs and then there was chocolate fingers, crisps and grapes to snack on. I had a handful of crisps and the chocolate fingers...didn't go mad even though I'd given myself permission to. Checked the scale this morning expecting to see a gain and it had actually gone down half a pound so it's nice knowing I can still have treats in moderation without feeling the need to binge.
