hi,all welcome and lets kick these wobbly bits into the grass

im nearly 47

size 18 need to lose 4 stone and hugely carry on my belly )look very pregnant) but am not

started sunday and am going to cut calories,up protein, lessen carbs, but not to cut altogether

i dont work and suffer from bi=polar and the meds make me very lethargic as they sedate so im gonna have to fight that one

im a junk/carb lover and last few days have had a crashing headache which im putting down to lack of sugar but food wise i have been good

I've been good today considering I've been really stressed. I didn't even finish all my tea as I felt really full which is good as I assume that means my stomach is shrinking? I had to really force myself to stop though even though I felt full...it's like I panic incase I feel hungry later.

Did a mini workout at home and now my legs and arms feel like noodles Grin

Springiscoming123 · 31/01/2018 08:45

Lunch and shopping today. Lunch will be at a lovely French restaurant where I will be giving myself permission to have one of their lovely desserts Wink Practice at being able to have cake without then eating my own weight in crap for the rest if the day.

Hope everyone has a good day

Ellieboolou27 · 31/01/2018 12:40

Hi all

Enjoy dessert panda Wink

I had an almond croissant and costa capachinno this morning 445 calories Shock will cut back on lunch / dinner

Having homemade chips tonight and breaded fish, only works out to 500 cals so still 500 to play with

Weighed in today couldn't resist I've lost 0 Blush that'll teach me to lie to mfp! Sorry excuse being it was TOM but it's finished now so I'm back on track.

How is everyone getting on? I need a kick up the bum so share your successes......... Smile

Missingpanda hope your dessert was nice!
Do any of you emotional eat? 😂.
It's been a bad day today, already had one cupcake 😬, normally I would eat like 4 😂. I'm finding it difficult. Food really makes me happy. I'm finding it difficult to not have that to look forward too! Does that sound awful.
I'm literally thinking of chocolate/Chinese/pizza 😂

Springiscoming123 · 31/01/2018 16:10

yep lots of us are emotional eaters and evening eaters,is a hard habit to break

i know what your saying about looking forward and now there is nothing

you are not alone

i struggle every night with this, you are not alone

Springiscoming123 · 31/01/2018 16:12

and remember you had 1 cake not 4 so you have cut down 75% i would say that is very good

Thank you 😁

MissingPanda · 31/01/2018 18:25

Kaz I agree with Spring. Eating 1 instead of cakes is a success.

Eliie I don't like coffee so never drink these high calorie drinks. I'm lucky in that respect.

Totally enjoyed every bit of lunch. Tagliatelle with sausage, red onion, courgette and cheese in a sauce with a piece of garlic bread on the side. Followed by apple and blackberry crumble with custard Grin

AnotherRanger · 31/01/2018 19:23

kaz I've been the same today, had a crappy day at work so came home wanting to raid the kitchen but I just managed to resist knowing it's weigh in day tomorrow.

Feeling positive about that, my work pants did up a lot easier this morning Grin so hoping for 2/3lbs off

Ellieboolou27 · 31/01/2018 19:30

kaz your post summed up how I feel, there's nothing to look forward to once kids in bed now I'm dieting!!!! In fact I need to change my mind set and tell myself I can look forward to being slim in summer and wearing clothes that I want rather than what fits.

It's 1st tomorrow so a brand new month to be positive about, plus it's just over 7 weeks until British summertime begins so will focus on that Smile

Springiscoming123 · 01/02/2018 08:20

anothergood luck with the weigh in

Thanks guys, it was a nice little boost for the day that stopped me buying cake in a cafe as I didn't want to un-do my hard work Grin

I'm going to start giving myself small aims each week to focus on to try and get into good habbits rather than just diet mode. So my focus this week is:
To increase daily water intake
To squeeze in 4 gym sessions

Springiscoming123 · 01/02/2018 23:38

weigh in tomorrow,mixed feelings Grin
