Oh Fuck, I am 2.5 stone over weight.

I need your help, I have been an eating machine since the beginning of December. I am getting fatter and fatter by the day and am so miserable.

Today I put my brave head on and got on the scales. I weigh 11 stone 4.5lbs. I am not very tall so I am barrelesque and wobbly.

Things really have to change, honestly none of my clothes fit and I only have three dresses that I can currently fit into. My jeans do not fit and are so tight I can barely do them up let alone breathe.

Please join me in sorting my fat act out.

Monday sounds good for weigh day, it’s time to make a real effort before things escalate! I don’t consider 2-3st a huge amount to lose but it will make all the difference. Losing a lb a week will get us where we want to be in around 6 months!

I'm in too - 5'7 and weigh 12'8. Need to lose 2 stone.

I can't exercise much but try to walk a bit every day. My downfall is chocolate and toffees - I only eat one main meal a day and toast for breakfast so feel I'd lose if I cut out the sweets. On the other hand I'm menopausal so who knows.

I can't stick to restrictive diets, I just get depressed and frustrated and eventually pile it all back on. I'm impatient and need immediate results (I know this isn't reasonable but just being realistic).

If something caused quick results maybe I could stick to it. What's exante like?

It's eleven weeks until Easter, so just over a pound a week between then and now can crack off a stone.

Boring point.
Weight loss / management is
90% food reduction
10% exercise increase

going to the gym cannot counteract cake intake Grin

If you lose one of the product systems to lose the weight, you'll have to do it again next year
If you get your head and your tummy heading in the same direction : teaching yourself to eat the right amount for the rest of your life, you'll be sorted.

I am 5'6" and weigh around 12 st 7lb ( I weigh in kg - 80.8 kg). I need to lose around 2-2.5 stone also. I joined WW online as I need a proper plan to stick to and I think his one will suit me. Happy to weigh in tomorrow.

I'm 5'2 and about 11-4 at the mo. I'm already 2 stone down but my aim is to get to 9-7.

We are going on holiday mid April so that is my target. I have also just been asked to be godmother for my nephew and his christening is in March so would love to have dropped a dress size or 2 by then. I don't want to be the fat godparent in the photos!

I am joining this thread. I am 5ft 5 and weigh 10st but used to be 9st and felt so much more confident. I normally do HIIT training 4 times a week but am banned just now due to broken ribs etc. I have been eating healthy so going to carry that in as I was at 10st 4 then get back the gym later this month.
I am going to Spain in July and want to look good in a bikini.

Great thread @naughtycurly Your closing line of ‘sorting your fat act out’ just made me laugh! Im in. 12st 7 at 5’8. Ideally would like to lose 2 stone.

I was about 20lbs lighter in Sept for my holiday, have no excuse except greed Blush would like to lose without starving myself, which is what I usually do at this weight. MFP downloaded.

Can i join the club please?! I started off last year at 11st4 and through clean eating and exercise i managed to get down to 9st2 by summer and felt amazing! Then after coming back from hols in Sept i proceeded to eat everything in site, no gym at all and im now back to square one again 😣 could do with the motivation from some other ladies in the same position

Please could I join? Exactly 2.5 stone to lose here and no idea how it got so bad - two babies in 3 years but my weight has just crept up and up. Sugar addiction + non sleeping baby definitely not helping, but no more excuses. I've downloaded couch to 5k plan and done 2 runs this week, now got to work on my diet!

I’m doing 16:8. So I’ll be eating between 11am and 7pm. Exercising by running on 3 days a week and long walks on the other days.
I need to lose 2.5 stones too and am short.
A good tip I’ve had is to fill up your time between meals by having goals so schedule in chores, courses, reading, exercises anything that makes you feel productive and better about yourself.

Can I join please Smile. 5' 4", lost 15lbs since 17 November, definitely another 1st 7lbs to lose, maybe more depending on how I feel when I get there! I've cut out all snacks and am trying to eat small portions as I know over-eating is an issue for me. Keeping food healthy but not cutting out any food groups. Exercising every day but that's more a mental positive to keep me on track...good luck for tomorrow everyone!

In an attempt to not sit all evening eating my body weight in chocolate, I have purchased myself a face mask and will be having a long soak in the tub. It's chocolate orange flavour no less!

I'm in. I need to lose 1 to 1.5 stone. I'm 5ft7 weighing near enough 12 stone. Wtf.
I found an email I sent 9 years ago saying I thought I was fat....9.5 stone!!! I doubt I could pull that off without looking very ill but I do need to lose something.

Well I was going to say I am in, but I am 5 ft 9 and 14 stone plus so think I had better find anothe thread since I am several stone heavier than most of your starting weights!

can I join in? 11.13 and 5'5". A couple of years ago got down to 10.3 which was great through my fitness pal and running. Target weight is about 10 stone. Trying to change my mindset around food...less comfort eating after a hard day at work and going for a quick run instead.

Coper you're much taller than I am, but only a stone heavier. Stay!

I'm one of the biggest here weight wise. I've been kidding myself for ages that I'm ok, but recent photo have made me so miserable. Plus not being able to fit into my lovely clothes. I bloody love my clothes, and refuse to buy any bigger ones.
The weight has well and truly crept on over the years.

Join Slimming World. You won't ever look back! I was 5 stone overweight. I have lost almost 4 stone so far!
