Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

Breakfast, 1 slice of rye toast with 1 teaspoon of jam. 1 cup of fresh coffee with 1 tablespoon of cream. 1 kiwi fruit and greek yogurt.

Lunch, Sausage and bean casserole. Glass of elderflower cordial with sparkling water. Another fresh coffee with 1 tablespoon of cream.

Snack, 1 clementine and a handful of grapes. Glass of water.

Dinner, Ham and Colcannon soup with 1 slice of rye bread and 1 slice of ham.

Snack, 6 squares of chocolate and a hot ribena.

I've lost 4lbs so far.

Yesterday:

B: Cereal

L: HM veggie cottage pie with 7 veg

D: 2 nakd bars and salted popcorn

Dinner plans were undermined by a bursting hot water bottle. Fortunately no blistering, but it required standing under a lukewarm shower for a bit...it spilled over thigh and hand...so I went off the idea of cooking. Just a bit sore today; it was a lucky escape.

Oh forgot to mention, weighed myself this morning and I lost 5lb last week! I bit of a shock I was expecting a lb or 2 max.
But to be fair I’ve been eating mainly under 1000 cals per day.

Ok back on it. Have inputted in MFP because clearly 16:8 isn’t motivation enough.

B: slice of toast and marmite
Coffee
L: miso, cabbage, bok Choi and chickpea soup, 10 green olives
D: pretty insipid and boring salad livened up with a margarita
S: glass of red wine, 5 OB stuffed pretzels, some cucumber and hummus

Yesterday I had
Breakfast : rice crispies and milk
Lunch : chicken and salad pitta with light mayo and a bag of crisps
Dinner : Swedish meatballs and pasta
Snacks : couple of rich tea biscuits , 2 flatbreads with marmite , another bag of crisps .

Yesterday was 2 food doctor pittas with 2 slices of vbites vegan ham in each, seeded houmous, spring onion and a bag of rocket split between the two.

-1lb at weigh in this morning so thats 1/2 stone now gone. Just need the last 4lb off now which might happen quicker if i could control myself more on a weekend 🙄

Snacks: I peppermint cream. 2 squares dark chocolate (150 max)

reduced calories as not losing and was snacking too much.

Roast beef, Yorkshire pud, roasties, veg and gravy. All quantities measured.

This is where not drinking wine is hard. Watching dh have a glass of red while I’m adstaining Sad

Brunch: Bacon medallions, mushrooms, scrambled egg, reduced sugar and salt baked beans, 1 potato waffle (460kcals)

Supper: Mini jacket potatoes with garlic butter, centre cut steak, petit pois and peppercorn sauce (414kcals)

Snacks: 2 x Cadbury mini eggs, 1 x French fancy (139kcals)

Today's total = 1013kcals

Been eating similar amount since 2nd Jan and lost 20lbs so far. Getting out for a 1.5 mile dog walk most weekday evenings with a friend, and a least one longer walk on the weekend... this weekend was two laps around the local racecourse so about 4.5 miles in total.

Will have a special k bar later this afternoon while breastfeeding
Dinner is going to be chicken breast stuffed with tomato & basil in breadcrumbs, sweet potato mash and peas

I’ve done 10 miles on the exercise bike I will do another 10 this evening 😇
