Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

S: apple and mini cheddars
L: left over turkey chilli with no rice
D: not sure yet, eating out with a friend

2x cups of tea so far... need more hydration!

Yesterday
B - coconut Kefir
L - smoked mackerel/salmon salad with Horseradish mayonnaise. 2 squares dark chocolate, blood orange.
S - coconut collaborative chocolate pot.
D - Smoked Tofu stir fry with half a bowl of rice plus Xo sauce.
Cocoa with coconut milk.

Today:

B: toasted teacake & butter at M&S cafe, one of their tiny saucer biscuits
L: Half a bowl of soup, 1 wholemeal pitta, 4 strawberries
Snack: 3 dried apricots, 1 cracker with butter
D: Half a mushroom and spinach Joe's pie, 60g brown rice, 50g green beans, homemade apple and berries crumble.
snack: cocoa, 2 squares dark chocolate

Lunch: sandwich thin with cream cheese and cucumber,satsuma, grapes, cheese puffs, babybel.
Tea: tofu and veggie stir fry
Snacks: fibre one brownie, quavers, protein bar, 2 rice cakes, small milky way

Awful day foodwise but somehow still within calories

Trying to change tack again and attempting to go back to 5:2, today was first fast day in a very long time. Other days I won’t track but will endeavour to eat proper meals and not snack

B: black coffee
L: salad (lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, hearts of palm, black beans, pesto dressing)
S: raspberries
D: green peppers, carrots and fried tofu in Thai green curry sauce
S: sweet and spicy tea with soy creamer

Weight day today. I’m hoping for 3lb off as that will take me to a full stone off in 4 weeks. Going to get out of bed in a minute to step on the scales.

Fibre one brownie microwaved for 15 seconds with a scoop of Halo Top peanut butter ice cream - can you believe its only 320 calories for the WHOLE tub 😲 Felt like a real treat

Dinner is going to be beef and pak Choi meatballs in a tomato sauce with garlic bread
Smoothie lolly as sweet treat for the evening

D: Poached egg with puy lentil, quinoa, carrots, piece of sour dough, mini frozen yoghurt
Snack: cocoa - no sugar, square of dark chocolate, cream cracker with butter

Yes overit I went shopping earlier and got the brownies and the salted caramel ones too!

B: 3 rice cakes and cream cheese
L: poached egg, mushrooms and spinach on 2 small slices of wholemeal toast
S: protein bar

Tea will be a small wrap filled with roasted veg, mint yoghurt and halloumi with sweet potato fries
Yoghurt and one of those salted caramel squares in the evening

Staffordshire oatcakes (2), with mushroom, onion, pepper and veggie Parmesan type cheese.

Quorn mince and veg cottage pie.

Lots of water; 3 cups of weak coffee and a glass of white wine.

Have started using myfitnesspal again, but it seems to be showing me as eating fewer calories than I'd have thought (like 1100). I was ill recently so am probably eating smaller portion sizes, but still. Is it usually accurate?

Pollaidh As long as you are scanning the barcodes of your food packets where appropriate and weighing your food, Yes the MyFitnessPal is pretty accurate.

Today:
Special k with full fat milk. 3 coffee ( no sugar)
Chicken salad wholemeal roll, pack of mini cookies
Dinner tonight will be sausages, suede mash, peas and onion gravy.
Then a ice lolly later in the evening.

B: some fage total 0% yoghurt with some chopped up grapes and a protein bar
L: cheese sandwich on a thin, quavers, alpen bar, satsuma
T: roasted veg and sweet potato with kale, quorn pieces and brown rice all mixed together with a jelly pot afterwards
Will probably have a fibre one brownie later on
