Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

Alpen light bar

Butternut squash and tarragon soup

Tuna tacos with mango salsa and chipotle onions. Despite these being practically fat free, they are quite high in cals because of the tortillas. They are delish though.

Loads of roasted cauliflower

Pints of water as still sick. Only want soft foods today, it's good for my waistline!

Today:

Coffee with 50ml double cream

Avocado, tomato, prawn and lime juice with homemade flaxseed crackers (flaxseed, dried herbs and water)

Broccoli and Stilton soup

Salmon fillet and broccoli, kale and asparagus cooked in lots of butter

3.5 litres of water

D: Saag paneer, homemade, rice, 2 large squares of chocolate
Snacks: Slice of toast with butter and honey, cocoa

Special k with full fat milk and a few blueberries
Chicken salad sandwich, Jaffa cake, few crisps
Dinner tonight will be chicken and veg Mexican rice
Smoothie ice lolly for my evening sweet treat

Breakfast: Alpen bar and a satsuma
Lunch: sandwich thin with a cheese slice, satsuma, packet of cheese puffs and a rice cake bar
Tea: Bolognaise made with quorn mince and lots of veggies but on a bed of spinach instead of pasta as I'm not keen on it and then a jelly pot afterwards
Fibre one brownie and some grapes later

Yesterday:

B: Porridge, SS milk, tsp honey
L: 1 fried egg in seeded sourdough
D: Small plate of gnocchi with tomato and mushroom sauce, grated parmesan, half a plate of sugar snap peas
Snack: 2 squares chocolate, 1 babybel light, cocoa

I'm not eating enough vegetables at the moment but am not quite back on my usual diet since being poorly all Jan.

On a good run at the minute as had a virus and not been hungry really GrinHmm

Yesterday:

Two eggs, my usual yogurt and fruit compote
Coffee

Small piece chicken, half a JP and a half a sweet potato, no butter or anything

Another coffee

Dinner was a massive salad (spinach, carrot, red pepper, pine nut dressing) and a quarter of a pizza

Lots of water and fruit tea

Today will be more as feeling better, will post later on.

Yesterday:

B: 2 x scrambled eggs on whole meal bread
L: greek Salad with feta and olives and some leftover roast chicken, a pasta de nata portuguese tart thing
D: I pan fried a chicken breast with tons of garlic and had it with sweet potato chips and a big salad. Ooo it was LOVELY!

That came in at around 1000 calories. I had 3 coffees and 2L water and ran 5km.

L: cream cheese and cucumber sandwich on a thin, cheese puffs, grapes, babybel
T: tofu and veggie stir fry + a jelly pot afterwards
Evening snack will be a yoghurt and a fibre one brownie

Few dates, few Brazil nuts

Two pieces chicken parmagiana, baked potato, no butter or anything

Lots of water and tea

Dinner will be chilli, probably with a spoon of rice if I cba cooking rice

Today I’m going out for tea to celebrate completing dry January and will have a glass of wine. Therefore planning to starve myself all day Grin

Yesterday I had
B: two slices of grilled bacon, a pork sausage, baked beans and a slice of whole meal toast
L: grabbed a Starbucks muffin at 3pm
D: ‘fried rice’ with king prawns and quinoa.

Today is slightly improved...

B: Greek yoghurt, banana, blueberries and honey
L: leftover rice and prawns from dinner
D: probably a turkey mince chilli

B: Small bowl muesli, ss milk
L: small wholemeal roll, butter and cheese
Snack: 2 cheese scones (yikes), 2 squares chocolate
D: Galette (pancake with tomato, mushroom, cheese, egg inside) and crepe (sugar, butter, lemon juice)
Snack: cocoa, low sugar frozen yoghurt

L: 1.5 cheese scone with butter, 2 enormous strawberries
S: Cocoa, one third of a Graze protein bar
D: Plate fresh pasta with pepper pesto, parmesan
Snack: Cocoa

This is helpful as I'm realising I'm not eating enough fruit and veg at present, following a bout of flu.
