Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

Today has also been the first day I felt full up after my dinner, I think my stomach is finally starting to shrink

I’m having pizza for tea. Specifically 2 halves of some pizza express oven ones, but they only come in at just a bit over 600 cals.

And as I’ve only had special k and some low cal soup today I’m still under 1000 cals.

Weigh day tomorrow, I lost 5lb last week and actually think my calories are lower this week, and I’ve done a bit more exercise so fingers crossed.

2 slices of whole wheat bread with a small bit of cheese.
Granny Smith Apple with some peanut butter.
Coconut bite
2 slices of sourdough toast
Handful of roasted almonds
Lamb gigot chop with couscous, mushroom, tomato, onions and peppers and a corn on the cob
Red delicious Apple
Lots of water.

B: Sugar free muesli, SS milk
L: fried egg in a wholemeal roll, 2/3 of a chocolate eclair, 1 dried apricot
D: small plate of gnocchi with roasted butternut squash, garlic and sage in a creamy sauce, then poached pears in saffron and cardamon, and a slice of DD's school-made rocky road.
Snack: mini low sugar frozen fruit yoghurt

Will probably have a cocoa (SS milk, no sugar) and a chocolate truffle later

No breakfast today just a satsuma mid morning

Lunch was cheese salad sandwich on a sandwich thin with some quavers and a handful of grapes.

Tea was leftover mexican bean rice and then a bowl of halo top vanilla ice cream which is only 280 calories for the whole tub! Limited myself to two scoops though Grin

Special k with full fat milk
Veg soup, 1 slice bread & a banana
6 mini Jaffa cakes
Dinner is going to be chicken breast with a 5 spice rub, few wedges, peas and corn cobs
Smoothie ice lolly later in the evening

I’ve done 10 miles on the exercise bike and will try to do some more before bed

Breakfast: beans on a toasted sandwich thin with a little bit of cheese

Lunch: sainsburys on the go vegetable samosas, quaves and a pot of melon

Tea: just about to cook a linda mccartney veggie burger with sauteed garlic mushrooms

No snacks but will probably have something small after tea

Yesterday I had

An alpen light bar

A tuna salad with light stressing

Indian takeaway (tandoori king prawns, roti, and just a small amount of masala sauce to dip in, so quite low cal compared to my usual choices)

Still under 1000 for the lot

Still no alcohol

Lost 11lb in the last 3 weeks

L: 2Cauldron Sausages, mash, half a plate of sweetcorn, 1/2 poached pear
D: Wholemeal role and mini pitta with cheese.
S: Cocoa, SS milk, no sugar. 2 dried apricots.

Hmmm, a bit limited on fruit and veg.

Staffordshire oatcakes with avocado and a little bit of cheese.

Cheese and onion pie and an orange.

Brown rice and kale crisps. A drumstick lolly.

Lots of water.

Just deciding what to have for dinner.

Roast beef dinner with homemade yorkshire pudding

Brunch: beans on one small slice of bread, no butter, sprinkle of cheese

Snack: packet of cheese puffs and a rice cake bar

Tea: pizza made on one wholemeal wrap with a spoonful of pizza topper and 25g of cheese, a few oven chips and a salad

Few hundred cals left so will probably have some fruit later on

Breakfast: Porridge, SS milk, tsp of honey
Lunch: vegan burger, tomato ketchup, wholemeal roll, half a plate of broccoli, mange tout and green beans
Dinner: one plate homemade saag paneer + mushrooms, made with reduced fat coconut milk, with white basmati
Snacks: 2x cocoa (no sugar, SS milk), 1 chocolate truffle, small piece white chocolate, 2 child's boxes raisins, 1 cracker with butter

Weekends always trickier as DH needs 2 proper meals instead of a sandwich/salad/soup

Ooh, can I join please? Today I have had:

B - weetabix and banana
L - strawberries, melon, grapes and kiwi with fat free strawberry yoghurt poured over
D - chicken salad (chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sweet corn, pickled onions and 2 boiled eggs with 2 tbsp of light mayo

S - a packet of pombear crisps, an apple, carrot sticks

I have drank hoards of water too today.

Brunch - 2 rashers bacon, 1 fried egg, 5 cherry tomatoes, 6 mushrooms, half a yellow pepper, 1/4 of an avocado. 1 slice gluten free toast.

2 homemade sugar free banana & date flapjack
1 filter coffee

Raspberries & mango

Salad leaves with roasted butternut squash, pine nuts, chorizo and feta, cherry tomatoes and red pepper.
About 5 earl grey teas with milk.

Breakfast: galllon of coffee with skimmed milk
Lunch: big eat golden syrup porridge with skimmed milk
Snacks: grapes, 3x Percy pigs, 1/4 mini wrap quesadilla
Dinner: roast chicken, sweet pot, broccoli and carrots
Low fat yog, options hot choc, alpen light bar and hot spiced Ribeana

Coming in at 1000 calories

Had a virus this weekend so not eaten much.

Saturday :

Two eggs
Coffee

Lunch was a big bowl of chicken, lentil and veg soup.
Small portion of spinach and ricotta lasagne for dinner.

Lots of water.

Sunday :

Two eggs
Thin slice of toast and peanut butter

Lunch was another bowl of the chicken soup

Dinner was one sausage with roasted cauliflower. Lots of water.

Also had a small bowl of apple compote.

B: 50ml double cream in coffee

L: broccoli and Stilton soup
Half an avocado, prawns, cherry tomatoes, chillis, lime juice and full fat mayo on homemade flaxseed crackers

D: will be a chicken breast with mustard cream sauce and asparagus

Spot the LCHF’er Grin

I lost 6.5 stone last year on LCHF then gained 2 stone back from October until now, so I’m dragging my very ashamed behind back to it to shift the last 5 stone which would have only been 3 if I hadn’t been stupid and eaten all of the carbs I could fit in my body Angry

I’ve learned from the experience though that I really can’t be trusted around food and I 100% need to eat a reduced carb diet if I want to maintain a healthy weight. It’s just a fact now Blush

No breakfast as i was at the gym

Lunch: 2 rice cakes with cream cheese, satsuma, grapes, alpen bar and some cheese puffs

Tea will be the same as last night as it went down so well so the wrap pizza with a few chips and veg sticks
