What did you eat today weight loss thread

Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

B: protein pancakes, with natural yoghurt and berries.
L: left over tomato rice, chicken mini fillets, spinach
D: home made burger, coleslaw and sweet potato wedges.
Snacks: graze protein bite (free promotional), satsuma.

Chicken salad with sweet potato
More chicken, grilled mushroom, cous cous
Berries
Boiled egg

Then half a huge bag of salt and vinegar crisps to the point my mouth hurts (in my defence DH was being a knob and I needed comfort in the absence of wine)

Yesterday:

B: Banana
L: Ham salad, a bit of grated cheese, light mayo, and a small fromage frais
D: Chicken soup, 2 slices seeded toast

Snacks: Apple, peppermint tea, 3 normal tea, 2 cadbury mallows, bourbon biscuit

Today:

B - very tiny bowl granola (before commuting)
Yoghurt, pot of pomegranate and fruit smoothie at desk

L - chicken and rice with salad

D - going to Lebanese restaurant.

I will not snack in between meals

Today:

Special k with full fat milk
Egg mayo sandwich, few crisps, special k bar
Will have 3 wafer things while breastfeeding later
Dinner tonight will be chicken jambalaya
Then a smoothie ice lolly later in the evening as my treat

Must get on the exercise bike now....

Yesterday (loads of food as at home):

English muffin and peanut butter
Coffee

Small slice quiche
More coffee

3 chicken drumsticks
Bowl of leek and sweet potato soup

hard boiled egg
sliced ham

3 oranges
an apple

small glass red wine

HM mushroom soup
Roast pork, 4 small roast pots, carrots, gravy

Today:

2 eggs
Thin slice of toast with peanut butter and banana
Coffee

Large coffee on the train

4 crackers with peanut butter
Almonds and dates

Leftover roast pork and roast potatoes
Veg and lentil soup
Tablespoon cottage cheese

Dinner will be 1/3 of a thin pizza and salad
Probably with a small glass of red wine

A cocktail sausage.

Today..
No breakfast

Lunch was 2 small vegetable samosas from sainsburys with a packet of snack a jacks and a pot of melon

After work snack of 2 rice cakes with cream cheese and an easy peeler

Tea will be leftover stir fry and maybe a yoghurt and fruit afterwards

On a fast day so just black coffee u TIL an early dinner- M&S nourish bowl salad and some king prawns with avocado, spinach and a bit of Marie rose. Probably nearer 600-650 cals but I don’t really care.

L - falafel and houmous wrap
D - sweet potato, ricotta and Parma ham salad.

Three black coffees and a bounty from the left over celebrations. Trying no to go with small portions rather than banning stuff.

B: None, ill so got up late, smoothie
L: Plate of last night's macaroni cheese
S: 2/3 of a Graze protein oats thing
D: Small plate macaroni cheese, 2 Cauldron veg sausages, half a grapefruit
S: 2.x cocoa (no sugar, low fat milk), 1 small square dark chocolate

Weird diet but I do have the tail end of flu.

I have put on a lb somehow since last week and now I have a running injury!

L: lentils, hearts of palm and jalepenos in bruschetta sauce, blueberries
S: hummus on toast, peanut butter stuffed pretzels
D: cauliflower rice, meatless balls, hummus

Lots of black coffee and fizzy water

Dinner is going to be Thai green curry with lots of veggies and a couple of spoons of rice
I’ve got a creme caramel pot for dessert

Done 10 miles on the exercise bike 😇

Two eggs
Very thin slice of peanut butter and banana on toast
Coffee

Another coffee on the train

2 apples
2 oranges

Almonds and dates
4 crackers with peanut butter
An apple sauce pot

Another coffee Hmm

Slice of cheese and onion quiche (bad but i'm only human and need to eat)
A large baked sweet potato (no butter)

Dinner will be either duck salad or bolognaise and JP

Need to cut the peanut butter and almonds/dates and have cottage cheese instead (yawn)

Cracker Yes porridge does fill me up but although I get up about 7/8am with the dc I don’t have my porridge until 10 and then have lunch about 1:30 so it doesn’t need to keep me going for long really.

Seeded bagel with low fat cream cheese

A sandwich thin with a cheese slice melted on (my low cal version of cheese on toast) with some crisps and a yoghurt

Fruit

Mexican bean rice and then a fibre one brownie afterwards

Got a couple of hundred cals left to have a snack later on if I need to

D: M&S chicken in pastry, veg and potato rosti

2x glasses of wine, 2 cups of tea and 2 lemon hot water.

Not my best day!

B - coconut Kefir & brioche roll with butter

L - prawn salad with a bit of Marie Rose sauce.
Blueberries with spoon of coconut yoghurt.

D - 3 chicken selects plus ds’s cold fries.

S - rice pudding with almond milk.

So not good but am premenstrual and down today.

Lost 5 pounds this week woohoo!!!!
