Hi all. Can I join you?
I started yesterday. I have a stone to lose initially, then will reassess (if I can get and keep that off) as to whether I need to lose more. My BMI is actually OK, but I have big belly
which cant be good for my health (and isn't good for my look
).
One of my big issues is drinking too much wine and I'm facing up to that now. I'm doing Dry January for all sorts of health and life reasons, but hoping it will also kick start a bit of weight loss and maybe break the cycle of drinking wine most nights.
I've been for a long walk yesterday and planning on starting the 30 Day Shred DVD this evening (have used it before with good results).
Also sorting my diet out. I'm going veggie for January as a way of trying to be more imaginative with my cooking rather than relying on meat and two veg. Did a healthy food shop and meal plan on NYE so no excuses
.
Yesterday I had:
Breakfast: 2 pieces of fruit (struggling with eating a good breakfast early in the morning...will persevere
Lunch: 2-egg veggie omelette and big spinach/cucumber/tomato salad
Snacks: a piece of fruit, a few dried banana chips & pecans
Dinner: Coconut lentil dahl & roasted veg
Today I had 2 bits of fruit for breakfast again, although going to start trying to get some porridge or yoghurt down me too. I've made a big egg salad for my lunch, have some nuts for a snack and am making a lentil and sweet potato shepherds pie for tonight to have with steamed greens.
Nice to have others to bore talk to about this
