I'm starting today, I put on a good nine pounds the previous year after being made redundant, and twelve months later I'm still carrying it. I'm trying to cut out the comfort food and wine to start with.

Count me in ladies. Have 2 stone to loose and starting tomorrow. Have eaten my body weight in sweets over Xmas so dread what my weight will be in the morning but somewhere around 12 stone i would guess.
Dreading it and looking forward to it at same time

My plan is to only eat when I'm hungry, stop eating when I'm full and booze only on Saturday.

Hello,I'm in please.im eating 1500 cals a day,and I'm going to join the gym..I can't do ww or sw...I'm vegan..and my diet is very restricted,I live of salad sandwiches.....and whole tubes of Pringles every day😪..so I'm making changes ..I had a thread in chat and got some good advice,..so far it's going ok ..I'm not cutting anything out that I enjoy ,but I'm going to try some new meals.

Hi, joining in too. I have sooooo much weight to loose but for now I'm focusing on being less than 20st. I got through today being pretty good considering that family came over for lunch - tea and a wee bit of panettone this morning, steak pie, tatties, sprouts and carrots then one cracker and a teeny bit of brie, and some trifle for lunch. And carrot soup for dinner - might have some cracker bread before bed. It does sound like I had a lot at lunch but spread out over the course of the whole day it seems ok. Tomorrow's mission - buy scales as I'm too heavy for my mother's. Blush

B - banana porridge
L - scrambled eggs with veg & pitta bread
T - carrot soup, bread & hummus, slice of Christmas cake.

No booze! Now just need to avoid the kitchen until bedtime..

Day one done 😁
Weetabix with skimmed milk for breakfast.
Grilled chicken breast with vegetables for dinner and fish with salad for tea 😁 lots more water too, with some lemon.
I want to enjoy summer this year and be able to wear vest tops etc without feeling self conscious and frumpy all the time.

First weigh in this morning, 21st 6. It’s not even a shock. I’ve been this big for years.

Having brunch today (as the cupboards are empty and tesco are delivering 10-11 😂) It’ll be bran flakes with skimmed milk with frozen diced ‘breakfast topper’ fruit. Dinner tonight is steak and pasta arrabbiatta from the WW recipes section.

I weighed in today and have 15kg to lose. Just had two eggs and toast but for no reason went to eat a chocolate. I need to throw out the junk as I clearly have no will power Sad

Can I join? I want to lose 4kg to get within target BMI, and after that perhaps another three depending on how I feel. am also weight lifting and don't want to stall out on that which means I can't cut calories too hard. It's going to be a sloooooww process.

I am weighing and logging everything on MFP, and trying to keep the fat and protein up and the sugar down. Sweets are my weak spot If I could eat as I normally did but without the confectionery, I'd be halfway there.

HashBrowns that always happens to me. I few days after a holiday despite healthy eating my weight goes up. It's like to takes a few days for the holiday pounds to settle on me!

Hash browns , I always find a three day lag on the scales ... so by Wednesday you should see the number coming down!!

I really need some motivation. Ideally would like to lose a stone but 7lbs would take me back to 9 stone 5 which is a good weight for me.

Today I have had an Alpen light bar, two satsumas, Prawn sandwich (300 calories) and pot of melon. Plus tea/coffee.

I'm so hungry. I usually have porridge for lunch at work which keeps me full for ages but they had run out.

Me! I have 10 stone (gulp) to lose after being overweight for a long time and then having 3 babies in 4 and a half years.

Have done slimmingworld before and done really well on it, but kept falling pregnant again 😂

Will be going to rejoin on wednesday the 3rd and hope to lose on average 10lbs a month 🤞🏻

I went to step on the scales today but they are broken. Probably need a new battery. I was a bit relieved to be honest, I haven’t weighed myself in about 18 months and be I’m terrified. I think it’s going to be something like 14st.

I have used MFP for the last 2 days and have recharged the Fitbit. I took DS to the trampoline park this morning so got quite a few steps in there.

Bleeeeerggh.

My tastebuds have definitely changed over Xmas. Just sat down to my normal work lunch of vegetables, salmon, brown rice and a bit of yogurt with blueberries and it tasted really plain and bland, although the yoghurt was nice.

I've been spoiling myself with rich and sugary foods for the past three weeks!!

Age is 55. Need to lose 1.5 stone. Doing dry January, and exercise bike gets delivered on Saturday. Not sure which regime to follow long term. Love LCHF but need to reduce fat because of reflux.
