It’s that time of year again when mince pies attack and the baileys is calling.

Trying to stay on the wagon is easier when you ihave the Slenderistas on your side

If I start in January on less that 10st I will be pleased.

New job should start end of Jan at some point... just waiting on contracts etc.

BitOutOfPractice · 13/12/2017 11:42

Hello hello!

I feel the same, not enough week to counteract the weekends!

I'm trying to have a really golden week this week with food and exercise (I was the the gym twice yesterday!) now that my inital flurry of Christmas socialising has subsided.

I haven't weighed for days though - always a bad sign for me

Exercise is a distant memory for me at the moment with the weather and work commitments.

I have just worked out all my overtime and booked time off so I now finish tomorrow at 11 and I'm not back until the 27th. I'm so ready for it. It's been a very stressful year.

Planning to go on a long run tomorrow afternoon and get the house tidied.

I got 10 11 again today after a bit of weekend bounce back. I'd be delighted to hit 10 10 this week.

FreeNiki · 13/12/2017 12:28

I'm still 9.7.

Waiting for a job interview. Eek.

HairsprayBabe · 13/12/2017 13:04

Good Luck Niki! Flowers

Softpebbles · 13/12/2017 13:51

Sending love Paws. Diary January 2nd. We will tackle it together. Xx

Well done those that are losing. I'm bobbing about between 10st 11lb (today) and 11st.

Christmas treats are already starting here too!!

I've not worked out this week as really haven't been feeling at my best. 😞

poorpaws · 13/12/2017 14:00

Aw hope you feel better soon Pebbles. I’m really struggling and haven’t weighed for over 3 weeks, eek!

twinkledag · 13/12/2017 16:42

Another one here who is on damage limitation!

Hoping to start the New Year under 11 stone. And then get to goal of 10 stone by March 10th as have an event then and then final goal of under 10 stone for another family event at end of April. Would love to be 9st 7 but not sure if that's ever going to happen again!

Going to treat myself to an exercise bike so I can jump on it at home!

lastqueenofscotland · 13/12/2017 18:03

Not remotely scale related
But I got offered a job! Less hours and more money than my old one. I am so relieved I could cry as I was worried with a BAhons from an RG and tonnes of industry qualifications I was going to have to go and take a 10/12k paycut and take an admin role I'd been offered and I've just had a call. I'm ill as hell but can I have a celebratory wine?

Chardonnay73 · 13/12/2017 18:11

Well done lasty! A wine is deserved I think!!
Somehow, I'm 1.5lb under goal 😱
God knows how!! Just trying to be golden in between Christmas gluttony...
Haven't really been on my shiny new running machine as just been flat out since it arrived but hope to increase that over the next few days.
Someone asked me what make it was, it's a
Kettler Atmos. It's really sturdy and as good as the gym ones...

Chardonnay73 · 13/12/2017 18:13

Sorry about the beer in the background Blush We had a wine fridge in that space previously and all the booze hadn't migrated over to its new home!!

That's brilliant news lasty, result all round! What a weight off your mind going into Christmas.

Hope your interview went well Niki.

Chard I do like the idea that you can have a run and reach out for a wee swig of something. Perfect. Xmas GrinGinHalo

HairsprayBabe · 14/12/2017 07:56

Well done lasty that is fab news!

9.11 just scales flicked between 11 and 12 but I am taking it, didn't do well last night had two chocolate digestives, some crackers with butter and an apple after dinner for no reason....

DP is out tonight so may have to banish myself from the kitchen to avoid the nibbles.

This time next week I will be off for christmas!

QuimReaper · 14/12/2017 09:30

Woohoo, well done Chard and Lasty and Hairy! (Hope you don't mind that I've taken to calling you that Grin )

Weighed in today as I'm out tomorrow, and just about holding fast within my designated Kilogram Bracket which I'm trying desperately to stay in! Feeling slightly resentful of tonight's dinner out, as if I had a golden day today I'd be bang on track tomorrow. But that's no way to live, as well as being incredibly spoilt since MIL is treating us Blush

HappyGowerGirl · 14/12/2017 09:46

Hey guys, I'm loving the grim determination on this thread😀 it keeps me motivated!

I weighed in at 59.0kg (9.4) this morning which I'm very happy about. I've just started work in a new location this week (congrats on all the others starting new jobs by the way!) which means I spend an hour a day on my bike! It's been grim in this weather but it also feels good to be active so I can have a few biscuits with my tea.

I've been trying to make some healthy changes at work. Normally lunch would be something shop bought (sandwhich, crisps m, drink and maybe some chocolate😳) but now I've bought a bunch of healthy ingredients so I can make my own lunches. It's cheaper, healthier and probably nicer too. Now I just need to avoid hitting the vending machine at 4pm!

I also force myself to drink 2 litres of water whilst at work and this really helps too.

Good luck all!

BitOutOfPractice · 14/12/2017 11:55

Oh look at all this pre-Christmas holiness

Chard you sneaked that one past me! Well done! Star

Great news about the job lasty. That sounds perfect for you! Less hours for more money...boom!

I stepped on the scales and was bloody amazed to see I weigh less than the beginning of December. It's a Christmas miracle

Loving all the positive news on this thread. Congrats to lasty and wow to niki!

StarFlowers

I've just finished work until Christmas. Just had to go in this morning to process the wages (most important job of the month) and now I'm free until the 27th! Xmas Grin

Came home and ate 2 quality street in the first 5 minutes so that doesn't bode well!

Tomorrow I'm going clothes shopping for the first time since I lost weight. I have no idea how to buy clothes that aren't chosen to disguise my shape!

Therealjudgejudy · 14/12/2017 13:25

Congrats lasty!

Strange day yesterday. Went to the gym in the am before work. Mid morning my stomach was doing backflips Confused.

Didn't eat a thing all day just had a few herbal teas and lots of water. Calling it a fast day. Feel much better today. No breakfast but 2 quality street and a chicken toastie for lunch. No gym today but I'll be using my skipping rope and doing a fitness dvd at home later. Have a good day all.

BitOutOfPractice · 14/12/2017 13:43

Lovely (especially the size Hairspray)

Have you got a do to wear them to?
