It’s been 6 years since the first New Mums thread but this year will be the one where we get skinny for Christmas!

We’ve tried pretty much every diet going and have supported each other through the good times and the bad. This will be our year, motivation is high and panic has set in.

Yes, have a great time Rachey xx

SolitudeSometimesIs · 11/10/2018 05:57

Morning!

Those shows are gorgeous Pom, who cares if they're not practical. I too love Christmas food, there was a huge sale on Christmas biscuits and chocolate in my local shop, I didn't buy any though, I don't trust myself.

How is WW going Green? The weekends are tough, that's my danger point too.

Rachey I hope you're OK. Have a great weekend and please show is lots of pics of your big day.

I've been so run down lately, I'm so tired that I'm reaching for crappy food and then regretting it when I step in the scale. I can't see to pull myself together.

Morning everyone,
Sorry for the radio silence, work been super busy.

pom sandals are very nice, would look great with jeans and nice top. I love a bit of fringing.

green* how's ww going?

sol* how are you getting on?

Finally booked a holiday, only Spain over half term for a week. But I can't wait to just have all my food done and the kids entertained. Hopefully will be a lazy holiday Grin

I have not been dieting or stressing myself out with food (just hope the dress does up) will try and do a week of jd afterwards ready for holiday.

Just off to get nails and tan.

I treated myself to new perfume, and brought some black mules and a leopard print maxi dress

Pomegranatepompom · 12/10/2018 14:29

Rachey I am so excited for you. Having a lovely, lovely time. You will be a beautiful and lovely bride.

Fab news re holiday too.
Love the leopard print dress. I was inspired by your jumpsuit purchase and got the Autumn version in M&S Grin

Sorry to hear you are run down Sol Don't be too hard on yourself, hard to reach for healthy stuff when exhausted,

Hello green how's this week been on ww?

Just been shopping, I really need some boots, but didn't see any I liked enough.
I've also had a rubbish food week so won't bother weighing in !

Greenrabbit · 12/10/2018 18:20

Have a great day Rachey. I agree, you’ll be a beautiful bride.
Spain sounds fantastic too.

WW hasn’t happened this week. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.
I feel so depressed about my size all the time.
Ordered some clothes that will hopefully fit properly. That might be a good boost to help me get started again. I know I look a mess at the moment I just don’t seem to care much.

I got the Headspace app today. Going to see if mindfulness can help.

Sorry that you’re not feeling great Sol.
Is DS still not sleeping?
Have you started your new job yet?

Greenrabbit · 12/10/2018 18:24

Glad you’ve got a jumpsuit Pom.
Do you have a style of boot in mind? I haven’t seen many nice pairs this season.
I keep looking at the DM Flora Boots in cherry red, but I’m not sure if they suit me.

SolitudeSometimesIs · 13/10/2018 19:39

You deserve a lovely holiday Rachey, have a fantastic time in the run up to your big day. I hope you have a brilliant time.

Pom I've seen no nice winter boots either. Although Uggs had a fab pair of biker boots but they were €400 so not really an option for me. What style are you looking for.

Green I started my new job about a month ago. It's going well but it's very very busy. You are right to.buy some lovely new clothes. You will feel so much better when you are comfortable in your clothes.

I have a chest infection, I think, I'm waiting for a doctors appointment. I'm wrecked and possibly very fat, but I'm in my comfy trousers so I don't care.

OP posts:
Racheyg · 16/10/2018 08:32

sol hope the chest infection clears up soon. You poor thing. How are you feeling otherwise?

How are dc's are you able to fit ds2 around your work schedule is he sleeping better?

green have you tested yourself to some new clothes yet, if so please share. You should treat yourself.

pom* I'm so glad about the jumpsuit. I love them. Could do with a few more Grin

I have well and truly stuffed my face these past few days. I have a week till holibobs so need to sort myself out. Feeling very tired and run down at the moment.

Wedding was good, so much prefer being a guest. It's so exhausting and felt like I neglected some guests. I only really relaxed at 11.30'so I really enjoyed the last 1 1/2 hrs Grin

Congratulations Rachey. You look amazing!
I’m pleased that it was a great day. I think it is very stressful though. Try to relax and get some rest before your holiday so you don’t end up ill.

I’ve bought some clothes. Nothing exciting and I having got round to trying them on yet. I’ll link later on when I’ve tried stuff on.

Still going round in circles with food. Still feel so disorganised about everything at the moment.
This week I’m going to concentrate on not drinking alcohol and eating regular meals.

Hope you’ve seen the doctor and are starting to feel better now Sol.

Pomegranatepompom · 16/10/2018 13:30

Love the pic Rachey you looked so fab.

SolitudeSometimesIs · 16/10/2018 22:47

Rachey you look gorgeous. Look how tiny your waist is! So you feel more relaxed now it's all done and dusted? The holiday will be great for you to relax.

Have you tried on your clothes yet Green? Was it just every day bits and pieces you bought?

I'll join you with starting over tomorrow Pom, it's been a mad week here too.

I'm still feeling a bit crap, but I'm starting JD tomorrow as I have a feeling nights out over Hallowe'en and I'm feeling huge. So I think the next two weeks will be JD time. I'd like a stone gone by the start of November.

Pomegranatepompom · 26/10/2018 16:15

Is our silence an indication of cake eating Grin

cake eater

Greenrabbit · 26/10/2018 21:27

Maybe Pom? Are scones classed as cakes?

Pomegranatepompom · 27/10/2018 12:31

Not sure re scones but don't think we can class them as a diet food Grin

Anyway, I have a new plan and I must stick to it as I think only about 6 diet weeks until Christmas !

Greenrabbit · 28/10/2018 19:18

Think I’ll try WW again. (I’d paid for 4 months.)

I’m really going to make an effort to do more steps. I’d been doing well before half term. Will try to keep increasing though. Going to get the exercise bike back out too.

Pomegranatepompom · 29/10/2018 20:45

Good luck with ww and steps green

Think I have finished at 1200 cals today.

Hope you are both ok Sol and rachey

Pomegranatepompom · 29/10/2018 20:46

I might post all I have had to eat daily on here to try and stop picking !

lingo09 · 30/10/2018 01:09

Im new to the forum thing but Ive been in your place but i'm 6'4 and 217. It came with a lot of discipline and hard work. Waking up early in the morning and doing my daily jog around the neighborhood but my friend sent me this link that would help me burn this extra fat i had stuffed in my stomach

bit.ly/2DcC34J

and well 6 months in and its been helping me more and more as I continue the program and learn more about what i need to cut out of my eating habits and how many calories i should limit myself to taking. It helped me lower my body fat by 10% within the first 2 - 3 months so thats one thing i could recommend help you out

Pomegranatepompom · 30/10/2018 13:56

Well done lingo Great achievement !

SolitudeSometimesIs · 30/10/2018 17:16

Hi. Sorry for radio silence, I had a lung infection and felt really rubbish. I was on steroids and I seem to have retained an oceans worth of water, I didn't even know that was a side effect. I finished them on Saturday and I have lost 9lbs of the weight I had put on with them. I've been feeling really down because I ballooned, I feel like a supermodel now Grin.

I'm so on for a 6 week dietathon. I managed 4 days of JD before being carted off to hospital.

Do we need a new thread? How many posts are we on?
