I have plans on Thursday so only three good days this week, and probably next week too! This is how it went pear shaped before, uh oh...

TheDonald · 02/10/2017 19:12

Hi everyone.

I've had a good day diet-wise. Porridge with frozen berries, my lovely soup with a couple of slices of very nice mediterranean bread, and stir fry with pork.

No snacking, and no dipping into the biscuit tin at work. I find it so easy to stop snacking once I make myself avoid anything with sugar in. I just don't get the cravings any more.

Not so successful on the exercise today though. I had a big project to finish at work so barely moved all day. Didn't even go out at lunchtime (the downside of bringing my own soup) so I'm on a pathetic 3.8k steps at the moment. I don't really want to go for a walk on my own in the dark and rain, and my gym membership has lapsed so I don't think I'm going to manage half an hour of exercise today.

Does anyone know any good youtube exercise videos I could do at home?

Crawling back with my tail between my legs weighing a small ton Blush

QuimReaper · 02/10/2017 21:50

As usual I've been nibbling like mad this evening Blush I was so good all day but I always struggle on Mondays!

KikisDeliveryService · 02/10/2017 22:00

Whoops, fell off the September thread... in more ways than one. Confused

Back to it: offtober golden eating day today. Failed the swim n gym session I'd planned but eating was good and did not fall into cake or any other carbs.

It's a start.

HairsprayBabe · 03/10/2017 08:05

10.4 that means I didn't really have a gain this weekend and I will almost certainly get a nice loss this week.

Going climbing tonight, not been in forever as my climbing partner inconveniently had a baby and couldn't climb for several months!

DP is as of yesterday officially unemployed, so he is at home or at interviews and doing a lot of the cooking.

We had mexican last night, with wraps made of omelettes and it was fab! Would 100% recommend!

really looking forwards to climbing, I was on L6 walls back in January but I imagine that will have dropped down, although I am lighter now so it might be easier to pull myself up the wall!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 03/10/2017 09:20

Morning all!

Hairspray enjoy climbing! I used to do climbing at uni, it's such hard work isn't it, but because you are concentrating you don't notice it so much. Probably the ideal exercise!

I cracked last night and ended up eating a load of chilli peanuts while I was making dinner last night. Still probably only had about 1300 calories though, so not too bad. Aiming for about 1000 today.

QuimReaper · 03/10/2017 09:52

Oooh, climbing does sound like good exercise, I bet you build fabulous muscles without really noticing it!

I am in such a bad mood for some reason. I actually woke up in the night enraged by DH for fucking around with the duvet Confused Hoping a beautiful Autumn day will cheer me up, and we have a massive new bed being delivered tomorrow so I need to go shopping for new sheets, which is pretty exciting!

NikiBabe · 03/10/2017 13:56

Havent been climbing since uni. Doubt I remember how. Sounds awesome though Hairspray!

HairsprayBabe · 03/10/2017 15:13

I had a really big lunch (575) to see me though till I get back from climbing as I normally only have 250-350 cals at lunch it was weird to be eating so much in the day!

But we aren't going climbing till 6 and I don't want to be half way up a wall dead from hunger!

Home made carrot soup when I get home Smile yummy!

Morning - everyone sounds pretty focused and determined, fantastic! That digital detox sounds exactly what I should do, I am constantly exhausted at the moment. But like BOOP it's sometimes late before I actually get to sit down and relax. But maybe it's a mindset thing, going to look into it.

BitOutOfPractice · 04/10/2017 08:22

I don’t usually eat dinner till 8. So by the time we’ve had our usual debate at the table it’s usually 9:15 by the time we’ve cleared up and sat down. I thought I was early to bed last night but the Fitbit said I went to sleep at 11:45.

Morning All, Going Ok so far this week, however the tube strike in London tomorrow may cause unrequited stress in my life - debating whether or not just to work from home tomorrow. Which means I could still get to the Gym and not leave at 6:30am to get the bus to work!! Will see how today goes! Not much else, dinner last night was courgette and canelinni bean soup with I am loving. Today may be interesting as I forgot lunch (will have for dinner!) and will need to investigate, however morning snack is 2 boiled eggs, and this afternoons is some high protein yogurt and raspberries with cocoa nibs - not sure about them, its an acquired taste, but I have a bag of them and will finish them!! Have a great day everyone!

QuimReaper · 04/10/2017 12:07

The tube strike's been cancelled plum!

I made such a fab dinner last night - I've had some mackerel fillets in the freezer for ages that I keep meaning to experiment with, so I did them with a ratatouille that I made from a spicy salsa I had left over in the freezer, courgette and beans from the garden, and some spinach leaves, feta and wild rice for DH. Very virtuous and very yummy!

plumstone · 04/10/2017 12:23

Thanks Quim - Yes I was told by my boss, who though it very funny that I did not this!!!!!!! This is good as it means that for another day my focus will be on point - its scary how easy it is for something to throw me off. I plan exercise and eating in my diary on a week to week basis - and really don't like to deviate from this, Tragic and a tad OCD but it definitely works!

ponygirlcurtis · 04/10/2017 12:26

That sounds fab Quim.

Raspberries with cocoa nibs sounds v interesting! I just had some Matheson's fridge raiders for a high protein snack, v nice but barely touched the sides. Trying to muster the energy for an omelette.

HairsprayBabe · 04/10/2017 13:44

10.4 away on training avoiding pastry cake and cookies 😱

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 04/10/2017 18:57

Hello all!

Just having some mushroom soup for my dinner. I'm doing a late shift today so hopefully I'll be too busy to eat anything else today. In that case I'll be ending the day on about 1000 calories, so pretty good!

Hope you are all having successful days!

poorpaws · 04/10/2017 21:58

Hi everyone and welcome newbies in my absence. I've been quite 😷 ill and eating tons and tons of sugar to get me through. I haven't weighed and I cannot face the scales until I am fully better.

Been following you all every day but not felt like posting. Missed two weeks at WW too. It's going to be a big gain when I eventually pluck up the courage to weigh in.

Sounds like you are all doing brilliantly. Keep it up Slenderistas

poorpaws · 04/10/2017 21:59

Niki hope you are feeling better

QuimReaper · 04/10/2017 23:39

A faaaaaairly good fast day here but hardly any steps because I was waiting in for a delivery until half past sodding five! Grr! I went out when it arrived and got my 10K steps but I'd hoped for a really good step day. I've had a headache for a lot of the day and felt a bit dehydrated too, although I've drunk loads of water Confused

How are the ill ones feeling? Any better?

NikiBabe · 04/10/2017 23:42

The raging temperature has gone but left with a constant chesty cough. It is driving me nuts.

I am debating whether to go to hot PT's class tomorrow morning. He was an arse a few weeks ago so I stopped going. He noticed though and asked where I was.
