Doing body pump today and a core conditioning class after. Weight did appear to be lower on the scale this morning. Just a little.

Randomly met a guy IRL. Went for a drink. Seems nice. He has texted me a couple of times.

He is 25 and I am over 35.

He knows my age. Worth exploring I wonder?! Not for anything serious.

Lady I sit next to at work is 37, her partner is 25, don't let it hold you back Nikki!!

10.5 seeing friends from school this weekend, last saw them in June and have bobbed around the same weight since then....

Will see them next at Christmas

plumstone · 11/10/2017 09:06

So Wednesday I have lost a pound and staying steady at 11.1. However had an appointment at the docs last night and at 6pm I stood on their scales and was 11.00 dead - in the evening. She said my weight was fine and BMI 24.9 so I really don't have anything to worry about!!!!

Vainly I don't really care what she says I want the number to start with a 10. The goal for the 31st October is 10.10. which think is doable - will stick to my own scales for continuity. Not sure how this week will pan out, dinner tonight out and then a family lunch on Saturday - will need to plan carefully and possibly throw in a couple of 16:8 fasts to compensate. Why cannot I devote this much planning time to my actual paid job Grin

Hello everyone

Life hasnt been normal since a week past Sunday when MIL died suddenly

Obviously a lot going on and funeral is tomorrow. Hopefully things will get better and a bit more normal next week

I seem to be keeping weight off although it feels like I have never been more than 2 hours away from another coffee and baked good...

Will catch up hopefully soon with all the slenderista successes....C

P.S. Niki - life is too short to worry about a 10 year difference, if it feels like fun you should go for itSmile

HairsprayBabe · 11/10/2017 09:11

So sorry for your loss TV Flowers.

Good gym session this morning and just cooking dinner now. 2 cod fillets, peas and parsley sauce. Yum. Will come in at 997 cals for the day including the chocolate wafer I'll have with a cup of tea before bed.

ARichVernacular · 11/10/2017 18:55

I had a fucking awful day today, have cancelled my yoga class and am sulking on the sofa with drink.

HappyGowerGirl · 11/10/2017 19:40

Oh no Rich! Want to talk about it? Hope tomorrow will be better.

ponygirlcurtis · 11/10/2017 20:20

So sorry to hear your sad news, TV. Flowers for you all. Weight worries can wait.

Niki - wot TV said, life is too short, go for it and have fun.

I have started another low-carb bootcamp and it's really helping me focus and see where I had taken my eye off and started pick-pick-picking again. A slice of cheese here. Finishing a mouthful of the kids' dinners there. An extra snack on top of the ones I had earlier in the day. All adds up. So hoping for some movement downwards at last.

ARichVernacular · 11/10/2017 20:31

Happy first world problems really, just stressed about ft work/childcare/work life balance blah blah. This blog post sums up how I feel right now - stretched thin and constantly juggling, wondering what it's all for.

Now cuddling my cat while DH does bedtime, soon to go and make tea...

poorpaws · 11/10/2017 22:51

Tv so sorry for your loss.

Niki go for it and then come and tell us all about it.

Softpebbles · 12/10/2017 07:35

Sorry to hear yours and Mrs Tv's sad news TV. Be kind to yourself. X

HairsprayBabe · 12/10/2017 08:30

10.4 but scales were indecisive between 10.3 and .4 and I do feel quite skinny today.

1/2 a day at work today then having squash and cottage cheese fritters for tea. It's a Jamie recipe for 4 that comes in at 160 cals a serving, so I will probably have a double serving with some veg and avocado.

spookshowbaby · 12/10/2017 08:40

Morning
can I join in with you ?
I'm -2lbs this week thanks to a lot of vegetable soup !
I've also switched my milk to light soya, hoping it might make a difference as it's quite a difference in calories to normal milk and I drink a lot of coffeee !!

BitOutOfPractice · 12/10/2017 08:59

Oh TV I'm really sorry t hear that sad news. Take care of yourself and MrsTC Thanks

I'm back from France at last and back at the grindstone at work and the diet. I feel ENORMOUS but not stepped on the scales

Morning All, Was out for dinner last night which was lovely - no booze so managing the Sober October, however had desert and chips - totally worth it and to ensure damage limitation doing a 16:8 fast today, hoping that dinner will be full digested by 10am. Plan for today is Greek yogurt with mixed seeds and blueberries at 10am, homemade lamb burger with spinach at 2pm then some baked salmon and broccoli at 5pm - well thats the plan!!! Have a great day!

spookshowbaby · 12/10/2017 09:13

@BitOutOfPractice the soya milk funnily enough is nicer than the skimmed milk, it tastes almost creamy !

For a treat in the evening I have a highlights hot choc with oatly milk, which is so lovely and creamy !

BitOutOfPractice · 12/10/2017 09:19

I am an odd bugger and hate hot chocolate. Love the idea. Love the look. Love the smell. Can't abide the taste.
