Morning all,
Hope you are doing ok Stellar

I have never done Pilates, I like the sound of it but I never seem to have to time when classes are on around me I either have to work or I have otter commitments.

10.7 for me this morning - new low for me, in a good way natch! Also some of the work skirts I bought the other day are getting looser on the waist

FreeNiki · 31/05/2017 08:39

squiffy I am thinking all the activity may have caused my injury. I shouldnt do so many classes and hang out on the gym floor....when hot pt is on duty. Grin

readyforsunshine · 31/05/2017 08:44

I couldn't find a DVD I liked but blogilates on you tube is good. She does technique ones & then you can move on to quite intensive ones. I had done classes before so understood about form but give it a go. I like that they are short so you can always fit at least one a day in, much more beneficial than 1 class a week. I like Adrienne 30 days of yoga, for yoga!
stella be kind to yourself Flowers it's super hard to diet/take care of yourself when life is tough.
hairspray well done on another loss⭐️

HairsprayBabe · 31/05/2017 08:55

Sorry, sometimes I read back my posts and feel I sound gloaty and insufferable celebrating losses when other people are stuck or gaining, apologies all Flowers

We have just started getting a Riverford veg box because I was bored to death of the same food every week, it comes on a Friday so it has kicked my menu planning out of sync a bit, what is everyone having for dinner the rest of the week?

HairsprayBabe · 31/05/2017 08:56

Also, other commitments, not otters Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 31/05/2017 09:18

LMAO at "ottter commitments" Grin

Just done 3 beginner popilates workouts, so pleased I managed it! It's been 2 years since I've done this well, every time I've attempted it I've ended up just laying on the floor exhausted. Has really boosted me as I feel the pt sessions are making me stronger, even though I'm not really losing weight. Just hope I don't crash later.
No real menu planned here, I find it hard in the holidays as I'm never sure who's in when. I have some chicken breasts, think it'll be some sort of a salad tonight, prob ottolenghi inspired.

Stellar67 · 31/05/2017 11:54

Aww thank you slenderistas. I feel a bit better about stuff now.

Otter commitments! Oh Hairspray that may well have fitted its way into the "best thread ever ™" dictionary.

Right, bellies. My belly is wobbly and large. What should I be doing? I'd like to reduce it in June.

And hairspray, your achievements are a great reminder not to feel defeated as it can happen.

FreeNiki · 31/05/2017 12:16

Hairspray it isnt smug of you at all. Everyone loves a motivational success story. You just dont seem.to need the help and support that comes with the thread as you never go wrong.

QuimReaper · 31/05/2017 12:48

OTTER COMMITMENTS Grin I wish I had otter commitments!

Hairspray don't be silly, we need losses to congratulate on this thread as much as we need to moan about stalls!

Stellar glad things are looking up for you! Flowers

QuimReaper · 31/05/2017 12:51

WRT belly-toning I'm going to get back on the hooping this evening - it fell out of my brain when I was ill last week and then the long weekend and then being zonked last night... but back on it now. My muscles feel a bit firmer after the efforts I put in before that so I'm optimistic about it.

Of course, they don't look firmer yet because of the blubber layer over them...

I looked into the ModelFit tutorial recommended upthread too, there's a 5-minute arms & abs one which looks good, I'll give that a try too. Excellent reviews in the comments, if they're real.

QuimReaper · 31/05/2017 12:56

My social calendar is out of control at the moment - millions of otter commitments. I'm going to have another Break Even Month if I'm not careful Confused I only lost the bloody weight in the first place with my 2:2:3 plan, if it turns into 1:1:5 I'm screwed.

Next week I have dinner plans on Wednesday and Thursday! I mean, what's that about?

TVHubbyClaire · 31/05/2017 13:13

Quim - I knopw how you feel.....I have had 3 nights in the last 7 when I have definitely been eating and drinking far too much. I still feel jaded after Sunday's bingeSad

Good to hear things are a little better stellar , a new crisps free month beckons Smile

My only positive this week is that I weighed in today at 12st 8 so even after all the unhealthy living I'm still only a Linda short of 12 and 1/2 stone.

I was too scared to get on the scales on Monday and not being in the mood to eat for 36 hours and a game of badminton yesterday has offset all the bad. Hopefully start to feel a bit more healthy in the next few daysHmm

HairsprayBabe · 31/05/2017 13:19

I am enjoying ModelFit Quim do the 20 min full body one daily and alternate the legs for butts and the arms and abs one. Still need to include more cardio, but I am lazy and hate it!

Was recommended by Cosmo so must be good! Grin

HairsprayBabe · 31/05/2017 13:20

Sorry that should be "I do" Wasn't being bossy promise!

BitOutOfPractice · 31/05/2017 22:15

Hello lovelies.

Hope it's ok but I've started a new thread for June

Let's get to it.

I'm 3.8lbs down for the month which I'm very pleased with given that it included 4 weekends away.

Good luck for June Flowers

I went to a Weight Watchers class tonight. I lost three stones with them in 2011 /2012. I actually went to surprise my old leader who I was in touch with last year but unfortunately she had this week off. The good news is that on my scales I am 10 stone 9 1/4 and on their scales I am 10 stone 6 pounds . Result! According to my card I last went in November 2014 and in that time to today I've lost half a pound 😀

I may go again next week as the leader is definitely back then but I'm not sure if it's for me permanently.

Hairspray and everyone else, I absolutely love to hear of your good progress it spurs me on so please keep the good results coming.

So we are in to June next, my month don't forget, I only hope I can live up to my own hype.

Love otter commitments but I haven't got any this week.

poorpaws · 31/05/2017 22:25

BOOP cross thread, I'll head over to June, thank you.

BeyondStrongAndStable · 01/06/2017 09:20

Weighing in today at 214.2, so that's a loss of 11.4lbs
Aim for June is to get to 210, as I have a week away in there too
