Excellent work Boop and Squiffy

10.8 for me this morning, this month has been a good one for me, 2 more days left to shave off a linda or two more! Not been on a roll like this since January!

-8lbs for the month so far, feels like the first time in ages I have hit the 1/2st in a month goal!

BitOutOfPractice · 30/05/2017 08:08

Oh squiffy well done to you! It is exciting yes Grin

Hairspray that's fabulous work. May has been great for you Flowers

Hairspray that's amazing, well done!!

Just weighed myself and I'm still 5.1/2 lb down for the month so I'm really pleased with that, would like to lose another 4-5lb in June and I'll be made up.

I run a couple of times a week but really need to tone up my tummy area, I hurt my back last time I did sit ups so can anyone give me any advise on best exercises to do?

Got to say I've loved being on this thread, everyone has helped each other so much and I'm looking forward to a challenge in June Smile

BitOutOfPractice · 30/05/2017 08:31

Lees you've done great too 👍 this thread is the best!

I look forward to hearing the tummy advice as that's my problem area too

Squiffy01 not sure. i have an old injury and it is fine mostly but buckled underneath me in yoga and now really hurts.

boop 🍾😁🏅🌹

FreeNiki · 30/05/2017 09:01

leesmum et al....pilates is great for core strength. the best in fact.

QuimReaper · 30/05/2017 11:13

WOOOOOAH, well done on the losses here! Amazing to see a 10 BOOP and Squiff, the 11s are a thing of the past. Terrific work lees and Hairspray too, what a great month this has been for the Slenderistas!

QuimReaper · 30/05/2017 11:14

I really really do need to focus on toning.

Yesterday, again I found a picture from my friend's wedding. It's such a great picture but it must forever reside in a box because oh my God my arms in it. They look absolutely awfully humungous.

QuimReaper · 30/05/2017 11:14

I must say though, the photoshopping in that picture of Jillian is hilariously obvious Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 30/05/2017 11:27

Which picture of who?

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 30/05/2017 11:35

Jillian Michaels in my diet plan link. Yes, her tummy is ridiculously smooth and plastic-looking!

Initial fail by not doing the exercise last night. Blush Stuck to the food, though! 3lbs off overnight, hurray!

HairsprayBabe · 30/05/2017 11:47

she looks well weird cheddar

Some of the things on there look really specific, where do you even get "Ezekiel" bread? or hemp muffins?

BitOutOfPractice · 30/05/2017 12:00

America I guess!

I second Pilates for toning tummy area. I like Casey Ho on blogilates although she's super sweet & smiley! Total opposite of Jillian shouting at you to get your a game

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 30/05/2017 13:06

I am ignoring the Ezekial bread and hemp waffles! I'm just getting normal wholegrain bread - and I am not eating Cheerios either. Yoghurt and berries or porridge is much nicer. It says you can repeat meals - I've got no issue having the same 2 or 3 breakfasts over and over again - much cheaper, too!

I had turkey and avocado wrap for lunch - I realise that she's buying ready-roasted turkey, because I had to cook mine and was nearly late for work as a result. Must do lunches the night before in future!

QuimReaper · 30/05/2017 13:20

A lot of that eating plan is sponsored - the Subway meal being on there is seriously weird! There are some good looking recipes though.

FreeNiki · 30/05/2017 14:52

I get quite annoyed at the moment I can never see weight loss clearly its down up down.

I went up 1.5kg last week then I got AF so 5 days later I've lost over 1kg. That's over 2lbs of water retention. So I'm nearly back down to what I was at the start of the month. Not likely to have a loss at all this month.

leesmum · 30/05/2017 16:37

I'll definitely take a look at Pilates, I am very active and don't need to lose lots more, I walk between 15-20,000 steps a day and do 5k run a couple of times a week but I think I need to mix things up a bit.

Ok so as well as weight loss through June I'm also going for losing inches round my waist too Wink

Squiffy01 · 30/05/2017 19:05

I'd really like to try Pilates but I can't find a class I can make with working late, the only on I could possibly make that I've found so far cost the earth.

QuimReaper · 30/05/2017 20:28

I just came on to boast about having done just over 20K steps today, I feel a bit silly in light of leesmum saying she does that every day Grin It's the best step count I've had in ages though, I feel knackered!

I'd love to try pilates again but have the same problem as you squif.

Stellar67 · 30/05/2017 20:40

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around. I have had a bit of an emotional time regarding one of the dcs.
So guess what. The crisps have been out. Why oh why? It's all comfort eating for me.
It's June soon isn't it? I'm so disappointed in myself.

leesmum · 30/05/2017 22:40

Quim that's excellent doing 20,000 steps, actually my steps are down this week cos not walking to school and back twice a day!!
Stellar don't be too disheartened I ate loads over weekend Blush

BitOutOfPractice · 30/05/2017 23:05

Oh stellar I'm sorry to hear you've been having a tough time. I hope things are brighter now. Sorry I know that sounds glib. Have a squeeze from me anyway Flowers

Well done on the 20k quim. I've only ever done that once so I'm impressed.

I am absolutely starving. I only have 23 calories of my allowance left Confused

OP posts:
FreeNiki · 31/05/2017 01:51

Hope you're ok stellar.

Had a golden day today. Just under 1200 calories and two pilates classes, a circuit class, a weights class with hot PT (swoon) & I cycled to the gym back.

Squiffy01 · 31/05/2017 07:03

stellar sorry to hear you are having a bad time, hope everything is starting to look better.

niki how in the world do you do all that with an injury!? I wish I had your dedication still. I used to, about 6 years ago I would go to the gym for at least 3hrs a day now I'm too knackered to make it through the door Blush

Well done on the steps boop

Does anyone do the Pilates DVDs out there? I've never ever got one just cause I think Pilates (and yoga) and something you need to do right and be corrected if doing it wrong so not sure a DVD would be great for me.
