4 stones losers - anyone with me?

AteRiri · 14/03/2017 20:51

I'm 5'8" (well a quarter short - 5'7 3/4) and currently 192 pounds. Two years ago, I was 167. I feel so fat.

Anyone with me? I hope to be at least 2 stones less by July (my birthday).

Crayzpetlady - it is daunting! But we're on the same boat, so hopefully we can cheer each other on :)

A four stoner here. Ready to start shifting some lard.

AteRiri · 29/03/2017 20:19

Welcome Msqueen33! You and I both :)

It's so hard. But tomorrow I start and I will lose it by July well I hope so. I'm starting a vlcd in the hope it shifts some of it fast.

Pradaqueen · 30/03/2017 15:24

Hello everyone! No weight loss this week which is annoying given the bloody ENORMOUS reduction in calories I have maintained over the past 4 weeks....however I do plan to move more and eat less. Away for a week on hols next week so plan on being kind to myself but also a nice level of enjoyment Wink

AteRiri · 30/03/2017 20:03

Msqueen33 - July is my target too. What's your normal daily menu like?

Pradaqueen - the stubborn weight will shift soon! And enjoy your holidays - where are you going?

Hi everyone!

Ate some chips and chocolates yesterday. But today is Sunday here and I'm jumping back :)

Hope everyone is doing great!

Weight is not budging. :(

Ateriri, don't despair! I know the feeling but I'm not giving up. Even half a pound a week is better than nothing! My last few weekends have been bad and I seem to keep losing and going the same 2lbs at the moment. Trouble is I'm trying to fit the diet around my lifestyle or I would quit. That means a lot of socialising unfortunately.. when I have a quiet weekend I do great!

DENMAN03 · 04/04/2017 18:56

Thought I would do some stats to cheer myself up.

Start weight: 231lbs
Current weight: 192lbs
Lost since 1/1/17: 39lbs
Lbs to go to healthy BMI: 38lbs

Looking at that I'm over half way there!

AteRiri · 04/04/2017 20:28

Thank you, Denman. It's just that with what I eat, I shouldn't have been gaining. But I did!

Ok, cheering myself up. Restarting today:

Start weight: 193.8 lbs
Current weight: 193.8 lbs
Lbs to goal (mid BMI): 50 lbs
Lbs to healthy BMI (max BMI): 30.8 lbs

20000 calories of stationary cycling completed and seen under 13 and a half stone for the first time in about a year, still need to reduce my reliance on coffee, cheese and chocolate!

AC14MUZ · 04/04/2017 21:25

Hi All! I really need to join in on this, I need to loose 4 stone to be healthy. I've just seen a photo of myself and I am mortified at how huge I look :(

I'd love to lose 2 stone by July. I've tried weight waters, Aktins, Slimming World, Diet Chef and Cambridge. Cambridge was the only one I had any real success with, I lose 3 stone. I'd do it again but I am breastfeeding so its not suitable for me :(

My problem is binge eating during the day whilst my hubby is at work and I am looking after our baby :(

AteRiri · 04/04/2017 21:29

Well done on the weight loss, Denman. That's phenomenal!

AC14MUZ - welcome! :) What plan are you going to do? And congratulations on the baby!

Well done everyone! On hols right now so diet out of the window, although I have been to the gym and I am making healthier choices than I usually would at a hotel Wink

AC14MUZ · 06/04/2017 08:10

Ateriri, i have no idea what to try next!! Hubby suggested bootcamp, he went last year and said it was brilliant, some people were there for three months and shed untold amounts! It's mega expensive though, I would totally go but I couldn't bare to be away from my bubba for a day let alone several weeks.

Does anyone know how dieting affects breastmilk production? I'd be upset if my supply stopped as a result of dieting.

I think my biggest two problems are socialising, we love to entertain and people come to ours knowing they will leave extreamly full! And picking on rubbish during the day whilst I'm home alone. I can easily munch my way through a whole pack of chocolate digestives before my DH gets home and go out and buy a replacement pack so he won't know what I've done Blush

Pradaqueen · 06/04/2017 15:27

AC - give yourself a break. Walk with the baby. I lost most of my baby weight wearing MBT shoes and walking 3/4 miles per day. Full the fridge with raspberries and pre-cut mango or pineapple. Look up Davina's powerballs when you fancy a chocolate hit. They are ace.

Have been to the gym today even though I am on holiday. Once I get home I am getting fit again. I might also try and online ballet class and buy myself a barre to practice with. Keep strong everyone!

Msqueen33 · 06/04/2017 15:29

I'm home and have the kids here and I'm so bored all I want to do is eat. I seem to look at food and gain weight.

DENMAN03 · 07/04/2017 18:07

Well it was weigh in for me today....drum roll... I'm down to 188 3/4!! So have now broken the three stone barrier!! Yipeeee. Unfortunately it coul all go wrong tomorrow as hosting grand national lunch. But all the same, I'm very pleased with that. Have been seriously tempted to fall into a glass of wine in the evening as it's been glorious but have somehow managed to resist! Only another 35lbs to go but am well over half way now.

Pradaqueen · 07/04/2017 19:54

Yay Denman!

AteRiri · 07/04/2017 20:06

Congratulations Denman! Awesome weight loss!

My weighing scale has decided to die today.

DENMAN03 · 12/04/2017 18:51

I hope everyone is having a good week. I did go a bit overboard on sat but back on it this week. Hoping to be good over Easter although I have two outings planned! Will not be eating any chocolate but the wine is hard to resist! Hoping for another lb off this week.

So2007 · 12/04/2017 21:56

I'm a bit frustrated - my weight is going up and down the same 1kg.

I don't eat sugar, I don't have carbs (prob

DENMAN03 · 13/04/2017 19:21

Mine did too, for about three weeks! Really irritating but if you keep at it will come off eventually.
