4 stones losers - anyone with me?

AteRiri · 14/03/2017 20:51

I'm 5'8" (well a quarter short - 5'7 3/4) and currently 192 pounds. Two years ago, I was 167. I feel so fat.

Anyone with me? I hope to be at least 2 stones less by July (my birthday).

Well done Denman! Welcome gengiscat!

Sorry to hear of your troubles Ojo... I also fell off the wagon as DH came home with a bottle of bollinger for an early mother's day treat and I drank the lot... Royally screwed up my MFP allowances!! It was really delicious though! Off for a walk at the seaside now to burn off the calories and my headache 😂😂

Tottyandmarchpane1 · 25/03/2017 12:32

Zero lbs lost this week. So frustrating. I have logged everything on MFP and been within 1200-1300 calories per day. Grump grump. Still, onwards. I do feel better - more energy and clothes don't feel quite as tight!

Pradaqueen · 25/03/2017 18:51

Totty - it depends where you are in your monthly cycle also. Keep strong you may have toned muscle and next week reap the benefits!

AteRiri · 25/03/2017 20:46

I agree - next week, Totty, you might be surprised with a whoosh of weight loss!

Why the scales lie

Ha - definitely no toned muscle / put my back out and have crawled about all week. I hope next week is better.

Tottyandmarchpane1 · 25/03/2017 21:57

Thanks for the article btw - v interesting! Fingers crossed for next week

dontpokethebear · 26/03/2017 11:04

I have eaten so well this week.
Fell off the wagon this morning and had mini eggs for breakfast. It was breakfast in bed though, so every cloud and all that....

AteRiri · 26/03/2017 20:36

The weekend was a disaster. But dusting myself, and getting back on the wagon!

Pradaqueen after a wonderful day being spoilt rotten, sorry I meant making my own lunch, massaging my husbands pulled back from a hockey insistent, doing DS English homework (ok we did have a fab walk) I've taken myself to bed with a glass of wine.... and RELAX ...

Ojoj1974 · 26/03/2017 21:03

I have had the most over indulgent weekend. Went to friends and ate and drank my body weight. Am going to try doing the odd 800 cal day next week (tough as am away for work) to see if it makes a difference. After last week no loss I need to see some improvement to give me will power to continue. Back is still achy but at least I am mobile so will try to walk as well.

Ojoj1974 · 26/03/2017 23:08

They are like mulberries . delicious!!

Pradaqueen · 27/03/2017 10:15

😂ojo... I fell RIGHT off the wagon yesterday and pretty much consumed my entire body weight in Wine, cocktails and Champers. It was lovely. Back on the shakes today... 😢 Stay strong everyone!

LoveDeathPrizes · 27/03/2017 10:56

God I had such an over indulgent weekend. But onwards and upwards! Ten pound off over the last two weeks (less now, probably!)

AteRiri · 27/03/2017 11:02

Most of us had an indulgent weekend it seems! :P But that's ok, we're back on the wagon, right?

OP posts:
Pradaqueen · 27/03/2017 16:08

Yes Ateriri - back on the shakes and the wagon 😉

DENMAN03 · 27/03/2017 18:31

I too had another shocking weekend. Why is it so hard?!? Went for a lovely long lunch on Saturday with friends, but my resolve to not drink lastest all of 30 seconds! Then because I was drinking I decided to have chilli chicken with chips. Sunday was marginally better but cooked a Thai curry for my parents so nothing low fat there.
Today I've been good, with muesli, soup and two boiled eggs! Trying to undo the damage..

AteRiri · 27/03/2017 19:03

I think my problem is once I cheat, it's all downhill from there. So when I had a bite of a cake on Saturday morning, it went downhill from there. All or nothing.

When I lost a lot of weight three years ago, I fought this urge!

AteRiri · 28/03/2017 10:27

Day One done :)

Goodluck to all of us.

Pradaqueen · 28/03/2017 19:46

Well done Ate! Keep strong!

DENMAN03 · 29/03/2017 19:32

Evening all, how is everyone getting on? Well I'm sat in a hotel room in Manchester, with a bottle of water, some carrot sticks and reduced fat houmous having turned down two offers of dinner and drinks! Pah!! Trouble with working away I don't get to eat my delivered meals so just have to guess at calories. I'm also away at Belton horse trials this weekend so trying to lose is a nightmare! Still, I've been good all week so hoping for a lb off. Usually weigh on Friday but will have to be Saturday instead as there are no scales here.

Crazypetlady · 29/03/2017 19:59

Im in I have about 6 to lose but will start of with a target of 4. It is so daunting.
