Ponygirl DD is nearly 12. She used to go to an athletics club where she found her interest in running. I'd never say she has to do it but she seems to genuinely enjoy the weekly run we normally get to do now.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 27/02/2017 21:32

Oooh, I'm going to a wedding in May too, ponygirl! I have just bought two dresses on EBay. Will post pics when they come. if they fit

ponygirlcurtis · 27/02/2017 22:44

As in 30k, last? Wowsers.

That sounds good Millie, DS has been mentioning a running club at school, will ask him.

More pics Cheddar! Hurrah! Do it.

BitOutOfPractice · 27/02/2017 23:27

I am here. Back in Blighty and ready to spring into March-like action Grin

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 28/02/2017 06:58

How was Berlin Boop?

Last how on earth did you manage that? Very impressive!

I like the Marching onwards/towards something idea for the March thread title. Marching towards our goals/goal weights? Or summat.

Squiffy01 · 28/02/2017 07:03

Felt too fat last night to put it on for a photo so went online to find it. This is it in black. Mine is a very dark navy blue. I haven't tried it on since January but since I haven't lost that much I will assume it still fits.

It comes up longer on me. So my question to you all is what shoes? I hate heals and my husband is shorter than me so can I get away with kitten heals or pretty flats if so what colour? And what colour/item should I wear to keep me a little warm. And should I wear jewellery or just leave it to the dress?

I saw these shoes on the weekend. But not sure they would match, I think I just got over excited by sparkles Grin I am a magpie!

Hmmmm now I've posted them I'm not sure I like them at all! Confused

lastqueenofscotland · 28/02/2017 07:18

I swear I am going to be 9st 10 forever Angry

Going to aim for goldenest of days today but managed to find myself eating out for every meal tomorrow so will let myself off then

ponygirlcurtis · 28/02/2017 07:24

Welcome back BOOP, how was Berlin?

That's a lovely dress, Squiffy - the shoes are nice too but what about a sandal with some bold colour, like a cobalt blue? And a necklace or a bracelet in a similar colour?

It will move down last - keep drinking lots of water and stay in a weekly deficit and it will shift when you least expect it. Promise. Smile

BitOutOfPractice · 28/02/2017 07:32

Morning morning morning!

Berlin was fabulous but oh the food. I swear I have never eaten so much meat oe drunk so much beer

I haven't had chance to read back yet but will do so later.

But I need some serious help with the March thread title. I've been racking my brains in vain

OP posts:
ArseyTussle · 28/02/2017 07:34

Yes Squiffy, that's lovely. For a navy dress I'd also something like cobalt or emerald green, rather than anything gold toned or brown.

I have finally broken through 90kg, am 89.9kg!! That 100g is very important. Grin

It means I haven't hit the 7lb for Feb, only 3.9 lb, so will try to get a bit more hardcore for March.

Millie04 · 28/02/2017 07:44

Last queen I am also stuck on 9st 10! It's weird. All of last year when I wasn't feeling motivated towards weight loss I maintained a steady weight of 9 st 10! I think I am seriously going to have to diet to get 10 lbs off and maintain restricted eating for a good while after so my body starts to like its new weight. 10lbs is feeling like a long way off.
Happy slimline pancake day folks!

Naughtysausage · 28/02/2017 07:45

I actually love the shoes. But potentially not with the dress, unless you have a similar toned bag and like neutrals? (I do Smile)

Naughtysausage · 28/02/2017 07:49

Last just koko. It'll go. Plus 9st10 is at least pleasantly ordered and in numerical order. Grin
Millie I'd never thought of it like that, that you have to let your body get used to your new weight. Hmmm.

willhazboz · 28/02/2017 08:18

I would vote cobalt blue also and a bracelet. Probably wouldn't go for a necklace as it's quite high neckline and looks like it's embellished?
Not a great day yesterday but not horrendous. Need to stop drinking wine!!

Millie04 · 28/02/2017 08:39

Naughty I think it explains why so many people yo yo diet. They diet, lose the weight, then gradually put it back on coz they slowly go back to their original eating patterns. For sustained weight loss I think you need to lose it but then maintain reduced cals as your body doesn't need so many cals to function. Also I believe your body stabilises at a comfortable weight and does a lot to resist any changes. Not easy losing weight!

HairsprayBabe · 28/02/2017 08:59

Greetings all!
11.7 this morning! Shock
I am beyond surprised, as I ate carbs at every meal for 4 days Grin and did not gain a single linda! That puts me at -3 for the month and I will take that as I had got back up to 12 dead in the middle of the month.

Switzerland is not really the place to go for a veggie who is avoiding bread! But it was soo beautiful and we had a wonderful time, walked over 30 miles and saw the most interesting things Grin

Also - not engaged, sorry for the disappointment ladies, maybe next time!

lastqueenofscotland · 28/02/2017 09:35

Hairspray welcome back!!
Glad you had a lovely time

BitOutOfPractice · 28/02/2017 09:59

Hello hairspray. Glad you had a good time. I haven't dared step on the scales yet Shock

Ladies (and TV) I need thread title ideas for March.

All I can think of so far is "Ditch the starch, lose 7 in March". Sorry Blush

Archduke · 28/02/2017 10:30

I'm really cross, tired and endlessly hungry.

Also feeling fat and miserable. I've lost about 400gms all month. I'm so devvo Sad

Also I hate my husband, can't bear the dogs and even the kids are starting to grate.

Will just wallow in misery.

ArseyTussle · 28/02/2017 10:32

Put down the Mars bars, it's March?

Marching as to phwoarr?

ArseyTussle · 28/02/2017 10:34

What does devvo mean?

I have days like that where I hate everyone. I want to run away from my job today, I've put forwards loads of ideas for a project and the clients don't like a single one. Out of 43.

Archduke · 28/02/2017 10:38

Lovely to have the travelers back. Glad you had a good time.

Squiffy I think kitten heels rather than flats something like this? Also what fabric is the top part of the dress? Hard to tell on my phone.

Archduke · 28/02/2017 10:41

Arsey clients are wankers.

Devvo = Australian for devastated. There is no word in the English language that can't be improved by shortening it and sticking a vowel on the end. Apparently.
