Well, fitting into medium leggings and having an easy on the eye PT instructor to you focussed are two good things. Smile

I can't remember if you have DCs, but if you're single with no ties would you ever considering moving to a new place? I did it about 13 years ago and sometimes chucking your cards in the air and seeing where they land can be just the thing to kick start some changes of fortune. Just an idea.

I was v long term single before my OH, and was really suffering, I made a rather drastic geographical move and everything in my life changed.

Keep on trucking, I'm sure you have loads going for you (your psychotic dedication to exercise for one thing Grin) and you're just in a crappy slump for now with a bash to your confidence after redundancy. I feel very defined by my career choices and periods out of work make me very wobbly indeed.

Keep on trucking. Flowers

Niki job hunting can be so demoralising. Chin up eyes down as my dad would say!

14 mile hilly run today had a big lunch but will just have a snack for dinner and that will be it.

BitOutOfPractice · 26/02/2017 17:19

Hello! . Let me tell you, this is not a diet friendly city!

Nikki you do sound low you poor thing. Weekends can be hard when you're single and it feels like the rest of the world is coupled up. The gym is a really really positive outlet though. I hope the job searching starts paying dividends soon Flowers

I did a 6.99k run today (so close!). Had a look at the times for my local Parkrun, and no way am I doing it until I'm MUCH fitter, if I'd run yesterday I'd have finished 10 minutes after the last person! Shock

FreeNiki · 26/02/2017 19:52

No DC. But not sure I want to up and move away from here.

The PT usually shakes my hand when he sees me, but put his arm round me last time. Hmm. Smile

Berlin sounds awesome. So does a 6k run!

feel very defined by my career choices and periods out of work make me very wobbly indeed.

That is it exactly. It is so shit.

Softpebbles · 26/02/2017 19:55

Last 14 miles Shock

Not a great weekend - could of been worse. Period is horrendous so am not weighing. Feb has been an unusually social month. March won't be.

Boop - Berlin. Nice. Smile

Loneliness is horrible Niki. It comes in waves. I hope you are feeling better soon. X

SmellyFartado · 26/02/2017 20:11

Evening you lovely lot,

Didn't want to post after half term as knew had put a few pounds on & was grumpy about it but thankfully, a week back on it & they've come off as well as a few more Linda's. 1stone 6lbs off now. Whoop. Had a really bad day after getting back on diet as was feeling giddy after crash back to 1200 cals per day but all good now.

Found some pics of me pre-DC yesterday and I look so slim. I never felt that at the time but that's my goal now. So have revised my target & now want to lose another 3 stone rather than just 2stone more.

It will be hard but that's my new motivation. Onwards & downwards.

Not exercising as yet - all just calorie counting - but need to get that into my routine at some point.

Good luck all this week!

Thinkingcof treating myself as I found a hefty discount code and want to look hot for the PT I fancy

I wanted purple but out of stock in my size.

Which one do you like colour wise?

Stellar67 · 27/02/2017 06:38

I can't get that link to work Niki.

Wow last, and arsey, great running!

Hi smelly, love the motivational plan.

Soft I've felt the same about February. I'm getting ready for March and very prepared.

I am about to make pack lunches and hustle for school/work. Happy Mondays all Wink

Squiffy01 · 27/02/2017 07:17

Have just caught up with the pages and pages to thank you all for The support and pep talks. Have had two perfect days one mostly decent day apart from some cake but I'm back in action. Will use Friday for my last in Feb weigh in probably will have put on for the month but I have to get over it and focus.

milly glad your son is doing ok.

Hope all you travelers are well and having a good time.

niki I did the same thing a few years ago when I was out of work, I was at the gym three hours a day cause I had nothing else to do. It was healthy at first then I got a bit obsessed.
I know you aren't sold on a move but it is the best thing I ever did. I moved across the world and apart from being a bit homesick at the start I have never regretted it. Been here nearly 6 years if you don't count the 8 months I moved home for

Hope you are having a wonderful time hairspray

Not looking forward to work today, I'm really over it at the moment it is such hard work and is doing my head in.

lastqueenofscotland · 27/02/2017 07:19

Niki I like the aqua!

9'10 this morning so crept back up...still it's 5lb for the month. Have a golden day planned too.

ArseyTussle · 27/02/2017 07:26

Morning all! Squiffy, are you the poster in Singapore? I want to go to that amazing urban garden with the towers.

Still bang on 90kg this morning. Looks like I'll need to have a platinum day and an enormous poo to get me over the 1 stone line for the end of the month tomorrow. Which would make I think 5.5lb for Feb.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 27/02/2017 07:53

Morning! 10.12.5 this morning, but today is a fast day so let's see what weigh in looks like tomorrow!

Squiffy01 · 27/02/2017 07:57

Nope arsey I'm in London.

willhazboz · 27/02/2017 08:27

Singapore is amazing arsey we went on honeymoon. Must be great but expensive to live there! I'll stick to sunny wales!
I stuck a swing cami on today that I wear under a jumper and it's usually mega tight (jumper isn't but is a bit see through) but it isn't straining over my tummy. (What an attractive picture I paint!)
Walk planned for today if weather is ok and lots of housework. My last week on mat leave 😭😭

Naughtysausage · 27/02/2017 08:55

Hello all!

Just checking in after a weekend of party food and cake nearly 2 Linda's lighter. I've been cruising at the same weight for 8 days so it's satisfying to have a nice loss, BUT what's really nice is that it takes me into a new stone bracket. I haven't seen my weight start with a 9 since pre-baby! So far that's 6 Linda's for Feb and 10 for the year so far!

Naughtysausage · 27/02/2017 08:58

Niki I can't get the link to work either!

ArseyTussle · 27/02/2017 09:40

NSV here with a coat that no longer fits like a straitjacket. Halo

TVHubbyClaire · 27/02/2017 10:00

arsey - well done you, I must admit I think the couple of nsvs that I have had have been the most rewarding results of my time on this board no matter what the scales are saying

Hellooo everyone else...
I have definitely been over indulging in the last two weeks but am thankfully holding on to a sub 13st scale reading and where possible I have been doing good things to minimise the impact of wine.....
Really keen to get close to 12st 7 in the next month, that would be about 5 more Lindas to lose then I'm going to buy a smaller size pair of jeans ...(i hope) and some slim fit tops!!

Naughtysausage · 27/02/2017 10:54

Arsey excellent! Lovely feeling.

TV keep going! Downwards and onwards.

Somo · 27/02/2017 11:24

Hello,

Well done to everyone for their losses. Apologies for radio silence. Half term happened where I just ate all the food and was feeling horribly demoralised. Should have been here for support and a kick up the butt! However, last week has undone the damage, so I am back to where I was a fortnight ago. 4lb in total this month so far, which isn't quite the 7lb I've been hoping for, but need to make sure it continues in March. Going away on the 29th, so have more weight to shift by then.

Thanks again for all the support and keep on keeping on. We can do it!
Somo

ArseyTussle · 27/02/2017 11:28

Hello Somo, sorry you've been demoralised. I think the reason I post so fucking relentlessly frequently on the thread is that I know it's more likely to keep me on the straight and narrow as I can't slip into denial.

Good to see you've undone the 4lb, that's fantastic, it's so easy for it to be Game Over isn't it?

FreeNiki · 27/02/2017 11:42

Colours....

Doing RPM and circuits today but having a weigh in first on the gym body trax.

I like the purple and the aqua. Would you have to wear a sports bra under it, and if so, what colour is that?
