Hi, I know there are lots of new 2017 threads but thought I'd see if there are others like me with a small amount of weight to lose who want support.
This day last year I weighed 10st 11lbs which is my heaviest ever (I am 165cm / 5ft 5in) My aim then was to be under 10 st which I managed but then spent most of the year bobbing around the 10 st mark, which was fine.
Today I weigh 10st 3lbs. It is TOTM so that always adds a pound or two but my target is to lose 7lbs initially and then perhaps aim for 9 1/2.
Aiming to count calories and exercise as this is what has worked best for me in the past Smile

I'm still here. Was doing terribly despite doing tons of exercise and eating low carb consistently, HIIT and weights I managed to gain 7lb! I'd like to say it was muscle but my tummy feels flabby and my waist is bigger, so this week I've tried to do the blood sugar diet, which is basically low carb as before but only 800 calories.

It seems like very little food, so I must have been eating way too much before. Too much cheese, pate and nuts. I'm short, so my TDEE is only 1300, 800 is only a 500 calorie deficit, so about right. It's tough but I have bought a lovely dress from Ebay for a big event in the summer and it squeezes me like a sausage at the moment! i think I need to lose at least 3 inches from my waist to get there.

After 1 week of 800, I'm 5lb and 1 inch down, which is nearly back where I was at the end of January. 8lb to go, hopefully get there by the end of April.

Well the inevitable has happened, I have gained 0.4lbs, but it was worth it. I now have 6.4lbs to lose. I just can't stop eating chocolate cake!!!!

cathyandclare well done on your loss, you'll be in that dress in no time. Smile

0.4lb is just a wee waiting to happen! That's brilliant, I can gain several pounds on a bad day.
Definitely worth it on a special day. Have a great weekend all!

Down a pound and really happy with that - going out to dinner tonight so just need to reign myself in.

Stayed the same over the weekend but another inch of the waist and KOKO,
off for a circuit class now.

Not allowing myself to try the dress on again until the end of the month.

This is my 9th weigh in and I've lost the 0.4 lb I put on last weigh in.
Still have 6 lbs to go.

Made Thai pumpkin soup which is rather delicious.

Getting a bit fed up of lack of good fruit to eat, satsumas & pears have been under par.

weekend forecast looks great Smile
