I'd like to lose about a stone. So I'm going back to my old system of writing down everything I eat, to make myself more accountable and stop eating random unhealthy stuff that I forget about twenty minutes later. The next few months of cold will be featuring lots of soup, and herbal tea instead of hot chocolate. This method usually works for me, so I need to get back on it.

Well done kitkat, that's amazing!

I have been terrible since Wednesday. Pms has hit and I just keep eating everything in sight. I feel horrendous. I haven't been to the toilet in 4 days! I just feel like all my hard work has been wasted and now I'm gonna struggle to get back on track. I've made an appointment to address my moods. My pms has went from a few days a month to about half the month. Blood hell!

JacquelineChan · 27/03/2017 16:12

Twopeas don't be disheartened , get back on track when you feel you can .
try Movicol for the constipation

Kit kat slow and sure is the best way ! well done

Twattery maintaining is good , after all that's what we want to achieve long term at some stage .

KitKat1985 · 28/03/2017 16:05

Sorry you are struggling twopeapods. We all have bad spells and it doesn't mean your hard work is wasted.

I just had an enormous pub lunch to celebrate a friends' birthday. And then an enormous piece of sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for pudding. Regretting it a bit now.

KitKat1985 · 01/04/2017 08:23

Hello! Is no one around?

I had a STS this week. Not entirely a surprise given the enormous pudding I had on Tuesday as mentioned above!

How are you all doing?

TwatteryFlowers · 01/04/2017 08:49

Hi! I have seriously fallen off track. Again! I need to get back on it before I start putting weight back on again. I weighed myself the other day and I was the same but I know that won't last forever!
What's a STS? That pudding sounds delicious!

KitKat1985 · 01/04/2017 09:17

Sorry STS = stayed the same. It was an abbreviation we used to use at Weight Watchers!

Twattery it's great you've also stayed the same. Maybe enjoy the weekend and re-focus on getting back on the weight-loss wagon on Monday?

TwatteryFlowers · 01/04/2017 09:51

That's what I'm thinking kitkat because we're out today and tomorrow and there's chocolate in the house!
Good luck for this week :)

JacquelineChan · 03/04/2017 17:27

hi all !
Kitkat you stayed the same - that's good ! it's better than gaining so think of it as something you've achieved, you too twattery

I have not weighed myself for ages , as you all know i get disheartened with the scales lol. This weekend was not great food wise , we had yet another birthday party ( my ds friend's from nursery i swear there's been one per week since xmas ! ) so i was digging in to crisps etc. I also had beer on friday and wine on saturday . DP bought a chinese takeaway last night and over ordered as usual , he's gone abroad on a work trip so no one here to eat the left overs , i know it is wasteful but i threw them away , i did not want the temptation.
my belly looks bloated but i am having a flare up of endometriosis so it could also be that not just flab !
This week while DP is away i will find it easier to focus on diet and exercise because he's a bad influence .
Now i just got to keep away from ds easter eggs arrghhhhh

JacquelineChan · 03/04/2017 17:29

sorry for the essay. just to add i did 5k on the bike at lunchtime and now walking the nursery run
bye for now

KitKat1985 · 08/04/2017 12:23

Well done Jacqueline on the bike riding and walking.

And how are you doing Twattery?

Only half a pound off this week but to fair I have been eating quite a bit of cake this week, so actually quite surprised it wasn't a gain.

TwatteryFlowers · 08/04/2017 12:53

I seem to have given up at the moment - money worries, dd health worries, dd waking up screaming several million times in the night every night for the past week leading to exhaustion on my part, work stress for dh affecting his mental health etc etc and I just seem to be punishing my body for it. I have eaten lots of crisps, chocolate, cheese etc and have virtually stopped cooking because I can't be arsed.

I have still been logging everything and regularly weighing myself though and am very surprised to find that I haven't gained any weight. Must be the stress?

Well done on the exercise front Jacqueline; you're doing much better than I am in that front alone!

Half a pound off is better than half a pound on KitKat!

Hopefully we'll all get our mojos back in the next few weeks! I certainly hope that my run of bad luck ends soon!

KitKat1985 · 12/04/2017 10:09

We're in a very similar boat Twattery. My mojo has died a bit recently and I keep eating cake etc again. I think a lot of it is exhaustion as my 5 month old is waking several times a night at the moment, and my toddler is just non-stop. Combined with the stress of my Dad dying I just seem to have gone a bit off track with it all.

Well done on not gaining though. xx

JacquelineChan · 12/04/2017 17:04

Kitkat and Twattery - exhaustion will do that to you ! I had a bad sleeper, DS did not sleep through the night until he was 2 . I had no motivation to diet or exercise because i was just so exhausted ....and it is the junk that keeps you going unfortunately ....not fruit or salad !

Flowers for you both

JacquelineChan · 16/04/2017 18:21

I've really gone nuts this weekend with booze and easter eggs aarrgghh

KitKat1985 · 16/04/2017 19:05

Yeah I'm not going to lie, this weekend isn't going well for me either diet wise.... Today alone has included toasted hot cross buns thickly spread with butter for breakfast, an enormous picnic prepared by my PILs for lunch, and an enormous roast dinner this evening, followed by cake for pudding.

We have also been given approximately 8 tonnes of chocolate.

TwatteryFlowers · 16/04/2017 21:56

Unsurprisingly I've gained 2lb this week. I've eaten tonnes of crap and almost all of my huuuuge ferrero rocher egg that I only opened this morning. I will get back on track. Not this week though, probably, given all the chocolate we have in our house.

Sorry to read about your dad kitkat. Hope you're feeling OK Flowers

twoandahalftimesthree · 18/04/2017 07:47

Hi everyone, busy day yesterday so didn't get round to posting, but I am going to try to post every day from now on so that I keep committed. Weighed in at 12 st 7 so 1 lb off! Yay!
Yesterday I fasted all day until 8.30pm then dh had cooked a nice meal but even allowing for that I'm sure it wouldn't have been more than 1200/1500 cals, there were lots of veg! Got a friends birthday meal tonight so plan to fast all day again.
Exercise wise I was on my feet all day til 6pm at work plus did 20 mins yoga when I got back so not bad.
Also listened to weight loss hypnosis in bed.
Just looked at my happy scale app and seen that this time last year I lost 11lbs between mid April and end of May so hoping to replicate that again (without putting it all back on again afterwards!!)

TwatteryFlowers · 18/04/2017 09:46

Gosh I'm not sure I could cope with fasting all day long - I've not had breakfast yet and I'm starving!
Good luck with your weight loss 2.5x3. I've had the same thing: lost loads of weight, regained it and am now losing it again (though I've lost track quite a lot recently but now all of my Easter egg is gone and the 1st aisle at the supermarket isn't filled with chocolate I'm hoping to get back to it).
I weighed myself the other day and I was 9st1.4, a gain of 2lb. This morning I'm 9st0.2. I want to lose another half a stone as that would put me in the middle of my healthy weight bracket though I'm not too bothered if I don't manage it so long as I do manage to keep it off.

JacquelineChan · 18/04/2017 17:30

I haven't weighed myself in ages , i don't keep scales at home because I get silly with them so next time i am in Boots I will remember to do it.

we've put the easter eggs away so they are less tempting , they are behind closed doors only to be handed out in pieces to children as bribes and rewards lol

I do have a big big box of ferrero rocher which i will try and be sensible with ( if only i had not eaten one i could have given it away ! )

i've eaten very sensibly today and going for a walk in a bit . home made pad thai for dinner

JacquelineChan · 27/04/2017 11:57

i've put on about 3 - 4 lb over Easter ! no surprise there !

TwatteryFlowers · 01/05/2017 09:50

I've been weighing myself less than usual but I have tried to get myself back on track after weeks and weeks of eating crap. I've lost the couple of pounds that went back on again and am still tracking what I eat, keeping at roughly 1500 cals per day.

I was really good after Easter and didn't eat any of the dc's eggs! Halo
