Just got back from holiday this morning and while I feel like I've stayed the same or even lost a bit ( I don't weigh myself as I don't want reasons to celebrate or commiserate) I want to continue with the healthy eating I did while there

I was pretty careful . Limited myself to one treat a day, a gluten free cake , ice cream lolly with chocolate and nuts around.

I never bought any chocolate ( unusual for me). Very few potatoes. I found veg and protein was enough in that heat.
Not a big drinker. A gin and tonic for me is a tonic with a splash of gin a couple of times a day and we walked for miles.

So....I have a wedding coming up next year and I have four lovely dresses to choose from. Two I got married in ( knee length rather than bridal). One champagne, other a kindd of French beige. I can get them zipped but can't breathe in them.

Then I have a pale green and a pale pink. They are unworn as they were new last year and I couldn't wear them as I'd put some weight on.

So...my plan is to practice healthy eating and intermittent fasting till Christmas.

My usual breakfast omelette but this time allowing more than 13 hours of fasting between dinner the night before and breakfast. Green soup. Today's looked putrid but tasted fine. It was a rich dark blue green as a teaspoon of spirulina went in as well. Plus a few cashews and a bit of feta

Tonight will be homemade turkey curry. Eaten by 7 to allow for the fast.

I don't want to go back to chocolate or crisps when I snack.
It's going to be painful as Im Already gluten and mostly dairy free, so I can only cut back on sugary snacks and it's so much cooler here so I want to eat.

I'm also going to look into mindful eating.

Anyone with me till Christmas.

Then it will be a couple of days off. Then back on till our next break in march where I'll have to watch myself for the wedding in may.

I like to have a goal.

I'm here! Course sounds really interesting Dowser, hope your positivity continues for the rest of the day! Smile

I have been pretty good - I did have a rather large spoon of pasta bake, but then my stomach reacted rather violently Blush so I'm back on low-carb with a vengeance! It was very strange, however, that was my only slip-up and I resisted any wine, so I'll let that one go.

Hope you're all having lovely weekends Smile

I am slowly recovering from being mugged by a box of Thornton's Special Toffee. Let's just say things got pretty ugly.

Dowser · 27/11/2016 20:37

Lol Harvey.

Been a lovely if tiring day. Adrian ( incledon webber)) is such a lovely man.

We've been doing really complex stuff but he keeps it simple as he can.
We've done it over two weekends, end of August and now. I was feeling fantastic after we'd done part one of the house healing but in September I had a large tooth out, so that set me back a lot then in October in Tenerife I was feeling great then got news about my mum.
So fingers crossed this time once I've cleared the last of what's been bothering me I just get better and better.

You wouldn't believe the sort of things you need to look at to bring your health up to scratch.
There's quite a checklist to go through. Underground water veins, lost souls, attachments in your aura....list is endless
One thing I did see results with was my three aloe Vera plants. I'd had them for three years and they were just sickly. Hardly grew in height and leaves would wither and die or the whole plant would go brown and I'd have to try all sorts to bring it back.
Well 6 weeks after the first course, the plants had almost doubled in size.
Now three months later not only are they thriving but it's like day of the triffids in here.
So, I'm really hoping I'm going to thrive as much as them.

Starting with getting my weight right.
This weekend has been lots of home made cake, chocolate and a few small meals.
Back on plan tomorrow.

How are we all doing today? I'm still on course for today, and quite happily Smile. DCs are tired and grumpy - I think they are really in need of a holiday, this term always feels like the longest!

It's funny - I was thinking about my targets for next year, and literally this morning I've had a Save the Date card in the post for a wedding in August 2017 - so I think that's my target! Grin

Tractors you are doing very well too!

Brilll hope you recovered from your mugging.. hope they catch the bastard! 😄

Dowser hope your doing ok, and glad to hear you enjoyed your course.

I'm still at 9st 12 so need to get 5lb off by xmas day and I will be happy then I'm having a break all over xmas and new year then back on again for January if I can back down to 9st eventually, I will be over the moon as that's what I was before the kids came along!

BrillianaHarvey · 29/11/2016 11:22

Hi all. Police now looking for an afternoon tea. Anyone noticing unusual behaviour from a selection of finger sandwiches and a plate of novelty cakes and pastries contact local constabulary immediately.
Ron that's amazing news! You have spurred me to get back on that bloody wagon.

Dowser · 29/11/2016 11:23

All sounding good ladies. Some good weight losses too. I'm going to have to keep up the momentum for May when I go to my cousins wedding. This will be despite having a couple of holidays and a couple of breaks.

Yesterday was not as good as I hoped. Still can't shake off whatever it is that's in my system so still feel a bit run down. Like something's not quite right.

I'm going to not have any sugar today.
Wedding dress day tomorrow but am not feeling thinner.
Shame I was in the zone last week.

Packing today.

Dowser sorry to hear you are still feeling a little off.. hope it passes soon! And good luck for the dress fitting!

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 29/11/2016 20:53

Ha Brill - in true MN-style, I hope it has been logged with 101 Wink Grin

Good day today - totally shattered now! Didn't get time to stop for lunch, but wasn't hungry anyway, and managed to avoid the biscuits/emergency bag of crisps slump around 3 pm. Happy! Smile

Well done Horrace! Loving the picture of your 2-year-old Tudor lord.
I'm not going to talk about what I've eaten today as its Dysfunctional City Idaho, but hey, tomorrow is another sodding day.

RonBurgundysMoustache · 30/11/2016 08:56

Morning ladies.

Horace I too am loving that picture of your dd! Well done for the good day, and enjoy your walk!

Brill today is a new day.. start afresh!

I'm down another pound this morning so only 4lb to go to target for xmas.. seriously hope I can get there as I'm
Really starting to loose momentum now!

Dowser · 30/11/2016 16:03

Wedding dresses were a big no no today.
I knew as much.
I think it's probably water.

I'm going to behave myself today

Evening ladies (and any toddler Tudor lords that are around Wink)

I'm down another 1lb, so I'm happy.

I stood and dithered in front of the wine aisle in Sainsburys earlier...and the crisps aisle...but in the end, walked away from them empty-handed, but no feeling of regret either. I just didn't feel I needed them DH will disagree and feign famine. Most odd, but a good feeling nonetheless. The scales are moving slowly, but the mindset has definitely shifted!

Keep up the good work everyone, you've helped me greatly Grin

Dowser · 30/11/2016 19:40

Did Christmas come early...because two went mad in Marks and Spencer's food aisle and Tesco booze aisle.

It was supposed to be Christmas shopping for presents.
So how come two bars of Lindt salted caramel chocolate end up in my basket plus
A bottle of Ophir gin
A bottle of macallan whisky
A gluten free loaf of bread...bacon to go with it..
Venison sausages and steaks
Gluten free date and walnut toasts
Venison pate
Red currant and cranberry jelly

Then we bought the presents!

Honestly we were like animals let out of a cage!

Well I have had a reasonable day. A cookie at lunchtime (hmm) and some super-healthy fish cakes sitting in the warming drawer waiting for large boy to get home. (Pronounced disgusting by small boy, who nonetheless ate them.) And a glass of wine.

Dowser · 30/11/2016 20:25

Klaxon

DONT BUY M AND S SALTED CARAMEL WALNUT WHIPS,!!

Bloody lovely!

Oh Horrace I feel your pain. I am having a Good Day today. Porridge for breakfast. Skipped lunch. Chicken in the fridge for dinner.
And - I have finished my work for the week and can spend tomorrow doing Whatever I Want!!!

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 01/12/2016 18:40

Hooray for all the good days being had! (and hooray for finishing work, am very Envy)

I've been good too - but also starving tonight for some reason! Avoided the stollen in the office today, so I think I'm due some good dieting-karma for that Grin

(I may also have casually tried the tudor lord look on my 6yo DS - he took flight and isn't speaking to me Blush)
