pom those items look amazing, I wouldn't have a clue what to do with them. Blush I'm a basic cleanse tone and moisturiser girl.

God you guys are so organised I haven't even entertained the idea of Christmas yet. What is everyone buying dcs?

Ds1 behaviour has been dreadful again today. I think I need to start drink again Grin

SolitudeSometimesIs · 30/09/2017 21:31

Green that was an amazing loss. You are doing so well.

Oooh Pom those look lovely. I just use baby wipes and Nivea for men Sensitive - the best moisturiser I have ever used!

Rachey you are so inspiring, 10 stone is my eventual goal weight. I absolutely hate exercise though.

I'm still feeling rubbish. I can only eat small amounts or I get dreadful stomach pain and I can't even think of having my weekend wine. I haven't weighed myself, I couldn't bear to see I've gone through all of this and am still enormous.

I haven't too much bought for Christmas, but I imagine a shitload of Paw Patrol tat will be delivered by Santa for DS2. DS1 changes his mind every 2 days so I'm putting off even thinking of buying anything. I have picked up a few books but that's it really.

I have majorly overspent on scented candles and 2 lovely garlands for my fireplace, one for Autumn and one for Winter. I won't have any money left for presents.

Racheyg · 02/10/2017 09:16

sol sorry to hear your still unwell. It sounds awful. I love scented candles where do you buy yours from?

My boys aren't into paw patrol (yet) they love fireman Sam. Ds2 has asked for a crane, and a digger, but real size ones Grin

The weekend wasn't an excellent time for eating well. I did my 1hr spin class but just pigged out the rest of the day Blush I did make falafels and soup for lunches thou.

Meal plan for today (so far)
Eggs with spinach and tomatoes approx 130 cals
Carrots and hummus approx 120 cals
Broccoli and Stilton soup 225 cals ( home made)
2x boiled eggs 120 cals

Not sure on dinner yet. Hoping to try and stay within 1200 cals No exercise today.

Anyone got any advice on how to deal with headstrong 4 years olds that don't listen and talk back?

Racheyg · 02/10/2017 11:59

Hahaha I have totally failed already. I have eaten a millionaire shortbread not a small piece either

SolitudeSometimesIs · 02/10/2017 20:23

No advice on headstrong 4 year olds, I had one and my 3 year old looks on course to be even harder work. I can only offer you sympathy and virtual wine, because I got through a lot of it.

Were you off plan for the rest of today or did you manage to pull it back?

I realised last Monday that it was exactly 3 months to Christmas Eve and I wanted to be far thinner than I was last year. I have been feeling rotten for the last week so I haven't done much, but I feel great today so I am trying to get myself in order.

So today I feel like me again and I have decided I will try and cut back on the sheer amount of food I'm eating. I have managed for the last while to avoid eating until about 2.30pm and I hope to continue that. I've been trying to keep myself distracted with housework and decluttering that I've been putting off.

I haven't weighed myself yet so I don't know if it's working.

Racheyg · 03/10/2017 08:37

Hi sol No, yesterday was a awful day. Had to work late so didn't get home till gone 8 so had a quick dinner of pork in fajita mix with salad in wraps.

I reckon you will be surprised when you step on those scales, I find the longer I can hold out for food the less hungry I am but then when I start eating there is no stopping me.

Today is my 2nd fast day. I have a portion of broccoli and Stilton soup and some carrots to munch on if I'm desperate.

I'll do my spin class tonight and afterwards I will have a egg white and mushroom omelette.

Wish me luck.

Racheyg · 03/10/2017 17:34

Fast day

2x oxo cubes in water
5 marmite rice cakes
4 carrots

I have about 300 cals for dinner

SolitudeSometimesIs · 03/10/2017 20:32

Good luck today Rachey. Were you not starving? How many calories per day is that? I am in awe that you're going to do a spinning class.

I stood on the scales, I weigh 2lbs more than yesterday

I'm not sure how or why, but I am so annoyed. I'm going to continue for another week and see how I get on.

Racheyg · 03/10/2017 21:22

sol could it be water retention? Try not to weigh yourself till nxt week. I wasn't that hungry as I was so busy.

I struggled during my spin class I only burnt 480 cals. Just eaten a turkey salad. I think I've had about 550 cals today.

I'm not going to exercise on fast days so changing my fast days to Monday and Wednesday nxt week as those are the days I don't exercise

Greenrabbit · 03/10/2017 21:48

I love that you've 'only' burnt 480 calls Rachey? How many do you aim for normally? I think you are amazing for getting through a spin class!

Well done on the fast day. I actually managed one yesterday. Lots of miso soup and some pickled mussels (random cupboard ingredients ). Sainsbury's do some meals by Fit Kitchen. They are basically a chicken breast, veg and a sauce. They are all around 250 cals. I also had one of those (220cals),.

I'm also using the 'don't eat- declutter' method Sol. I now have 5 bags ready to leave the house.

I have to add that 4 year olds are pains.

Racheyg · 04/10/2017 08:07

Morning all,
green well done on a fast day completed. I've never heard of pickled mussels are they nice?

I normally burn about 600 cals during my 45 min class, but due to lack of food my energy levels were low.

Wow if I de cluttered to stop my hunger I would have a empty house Grin what other stuff have you got rid of? Do you take it to charity?

Meal plan for today

Eggs with avocado - breakfast
Carrots - snack
Broccoli and Stilton soup - lunch
Eggs - snack

Not sure on dinner as I have a meeting all the way in Luton Sadso it might be something quick and unhealthy

Greenrabbit · 04/10/2017 09:28

Morning.

Pickled mussels are quite nice Rachey (if you like pickled things and mussels anyway). Plus they are less than 100calories per jar and quite filling.

Good idea about changing your fast days /exercise days.

The 5 bags are just the DD clothes from the other day. I'd flung them into a pile! The decent stuff is going to charity, the rest to H&M as they send it for recycling and give you a money off voucher.

My house is just a mess all the time. It's quite depressing. But I'm trying to get rid of things rather than trying to tidy them away. It takes ages though.

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to eat today?

OP posts:
Racheyg · 05/10/2017 07:02

green what did you eat in the end? I might give those mussels a look, where do you by them from?

Ohhh are H&M doing that again? I have some fairly nice stuff, which I might eBay oh has sold a lot of stuff on eBay recently and got a nice little bit of pocket money back.

Yesterday wasn't the best
On top of what I planned I ate 2 m&s dark chocolate balls and a Starbucks frappacino for dinner I had eggs on toast with avocado. Oh and 4x rice tea.

Today is another fast day. I'm off to do circuits at 10.30 then will try and occupy my time not in the house with ds2 to stop me eating Grin

How is everyone else getting on? Sorry for my constant posting I feel while starving it's best to share my silly thoughts

Racheyg · 05/10/2017 10:41

How can I have not lost weight?!?????

Greenrabbit · 06/10/2017 10:15

Wednesday ended up being a bad good day (takeaway curry Blush).

How did yesterday go Rachey?

I did manage another fast day yesterday. I found it easier just picking at lower calorie foods rather than having a meal.
Prawns are great for this and celery.

I've lost just over 1lb this week (53 to go!) We are away for the weekend though so I don't know how well that will actually go. Plus I've just had 2 slices of toast.

I buy the pickled mussels in Home Bargains. I've seen them in the tinned fish aisle at Sainsbury's and Asda too, but HB is much cheaper.

I think H&M always do the clothes recycling? The vouchers are handy. I always like a look round and the DDs love the kids stuff.

I think after half term I'm going to get myself properly sorted with food and cooking. I do feel like it's getting easier. I'd like to lose another stone before Christmas.

Is it bad that I spent last night in bed reading the M&S Christmas food brochure? Grin

Quick message- Sol, if you would like the toiletries, pm me your address. Going to post office tomorrow.
Back later to catch up !

Pomegranatepompom · 06/10/2017 11:45

Not stopped eating all week !

Racheyg · 06/10/2017 21:40

green no, the day was a write off. I was so disappointed that I did lose any weight that I stuffed my face. Today has been any better Grin

Ohhh where are you off to? I'm going to champneys for the weekend. Is that 1/2 a stone now?

pom how are you doing?

sol how's things?

Racheyg · 07/10/2017 07:43

Ok, that's meant to say as didn't lose weight and today hasn't been any better.

Racheyg · 08/10/2017 19:38

Hi guys, hope you have had a good weekend.

I'm fit to burst, have eaten so much food. Blush back on the diet train tomorrow

Racheyg · 09/10/2017 09:18

Morning all,

I hope you had a great weekend away green

It's a new week, and today is a fast day.

So I'm going to have Heinz chicken soup which is about 210 cals which leaves 290 so I'm going to roast some veg and make a sauce to go over courgettie.

Racheyg · 09/10/2017 22:48

Hahaha failed again. Argh I'm gonna need a serious kick up the arse

Pomegranatepompom · 10/10/2017 09:02

Morning!

Apologies for not posting much, back to school/work and general commitments have left me with little free time although DH and I did manage to go out for lunch while the DC were in school one day which was bizarre but nice !

I lost 1lb last week and 1 lb this week, making 8lbs in 5 weeks, which is frustrating slow but I just need to keep plodding on.

How much do you want to lose now rachey ? If you re finding fast days hard, how about aiming for 3x 1000 cal days instead? I'm afraid I have a headstrong 4 year old as well (Maybe they all are?!).

Hope you are feeling better Sol ? Sorry about your 2lbs which is grossly unfair. I think paw patrol will feature in our Christmas as well, although DD already has the plane and a few other bits. DS wants lego, so that's fairly easy.

How was your weekend away Green ? Well done on your loss. I love the M&S (and Waitrose) Christmas brochures and have also already started a page list, although we'll be having some picky eaters on the day which curtails me a bit. I'm thinking of making a Christmas pudding (must get on with it !).
It's 9 weeks until the week before Christmas, I'd really like to lose 10lbs,
Have a lovely day.

Racheyg · 10/10/2017 17:00

pom 8lbs in 5 weeks is still good. Don't be so hard on yourself. Where did you and dh go to eat? Anywhere nice?

I would like to lose 1 more stone which will take me to around 9st. I'm really finding this last part hard. I have hoovered around this weight for nearly 18 months now between 9st 10lb - 10st 7lb. Maybe I'm being unrealistic.

Racheyg · 14/10/2017 21:35

Evening all, I hope your all having s good weekend. I have eaten sooo much this weekend and don't regret it. Will start again on Monday.

I'm busy potty training ds2 so just having a few glasses of prosecco to wind down. Smile
