I'm so glad all your test came back negative sol, how are you feeling within yourself?

Sounds like you have a plan and are very positive Smilehope you have s great mini break, you deserve it. Wine

The insanity dvd looks pretty hardcore. I've done his hip hop abs, but I felt ridiculous doing this "popping" action with my hips. It gave oh a laugh thou Grin

I didn't even think about trying it on green it was purely if only dress. I agree my boobs are not what they were. They are very sad looking. Sad

Ds2 weighs nearly 22lbs and he isn't in line with his height centile so is too big for his length. I felt like walloping her when all she did was criticise. He is my little chunky monkey, and as soon as he is stable with walking it will drop off.

I'm feeling ok, it was a shock as I'm still mainly bf except 1 bottle. I've used nearly all my pouches of bm so he can have some formula until he has cows milk in 5 weeks time.

How do I go about the h&m clothing? Just drop my bags into any store? Are you going to buy yourself anything nice or just wardrobe staples?

I'm going for a week, was thinking skirts and shorts. I think I might have too many summer clothes now? Grin

beyond how are you getting on?

Need to find some motivation from somewhere if you guys have any fancy sharing it? I'm struggling, I have zero will power Shock

Hope you all have a lovely sunny Wednesday

I didn't mean to diss your boobs Rachey. I'm sure they are just lovely Wink. Maybe the dress would work with some sort of complicated bra system underneath?

It's good to have lots of nice summer clothes. You never know it might be a good summer?

You just take the bags of clothes into any store. They had a collection point at the checkouts at mine. I had to show the sales assistant them to get the vouchers (they have to get them out the till and write a code on). This week you get 2 vouchers for each bag. The vouchers are £5 off £25, but they are valid till the end of August.
I've got some tops and dresses in my online basket, but I always find it hard to track things down in the store. I'll try to go tomorrow or Friday as I have 2 more bags. I buy quite a lot of children's clothes and accessories there so the vouchers are useful. Plus it's helping the de cluttering.

I have no willpower today. I've ate loads of bread and pasta.
I was so upset as I went to M&S just to buy the cheese and onion sandwich filler and they had none! So I picked up a tub in Sainsburys but made the mistake of looking at the nutritional information Angry. I put it back and bought ham instead.

The fast day and calorie counting helped as I lost 2.5lb. But I've just lost and gained the same 5lb all year. I need to push myself in the next month the lose another 4lb and get my 10% award. (When I joined WW I promised myself that I would keep going until I had that award)

So another fast day tomorrow.

Your DS doesn't sound like he's too big (not that I remember much about it) everyone I know brags about their babies being heavy.

I was told to stop feeding DD2 so much breast milk at her one year check because she was too light! She's been all over the charts.
Its ridiculous, they encourage breast feeding yet some HP seem to blame it for many problems? I won't start ranting.

Hope you've all had a good day.

What did you have in the end Rachey?

My diet has been terrible today. Now I'm having wine. I need some sort of miracle to happen to ever be thin again. Sad

(I'm also very miserable and dramatic today, I'm hoping it's just PMT)

I cooked in the end green I made turkey burgers (no bun) sweet potato wedges and kale salad. I was well tempted to get a curry thou.

Not even a holiday can stop me from eating junk Grin

I hope you have a better day today. Are u feeling less dramatic? I think there is something in the air as both ds have it today GrinWas the wine nice? I had a whiskey last night. Shock then fell asleep on the sofa.

Hi, I'm back from my few days away and I have put on 4lbs. Tbh I ate and drank and had a bloody brilliant time so I regret nothing. However I am starting The Shred and Exante tomorrow so I may as well live it up. I will probably post up a storm on here over the next few days to distract me from the hunger and agony.

Sorry to hear you have some PMT-based dramaness Green, it's shit isn't it. How are you feeling today? Do you think as we get older our hormones become more concentrated or something? That's some Sol-science there!

Your meal sounds lovely Rachey, when are you off on holiday?

Report
Greenrabbit · 24/04/2016 22:04

Great willpower Rachey. Turkey burgers are always nice, whenever I have Kale it's really tough. Do you have to steam it for the salad? It all sounds delicious.

I don't think I'll ever stop eating junk!

Glad that you've had a great time Sol. I will join you with Exante next week, I'm having a last ditch attempt to be thinner before my Birthday. (It's now less than 2 weeks so I don't stand much chance really)

I've felt much better this weekend. Friday was a combination of DD2 refusing to potty train, trying on clothes that don't fit round my middle. Plus some extra parental guilt thrown in.

Hormones are getting crazier. Depressing Sad

Welcome back sol glad you had a great time Smile

Good luck with the shred and exante, I look forward to reading your posts through out the week Grin

I'm off, 3 weeks yesterday. I just can't find that motivation I had last year. I've crept back up to 10st 7lb/9lb. So I've brought a miracle swimsuit that is meant to make you look 10lbs slimmer?!? Hmm if it works I'm going to wear it all the time, although I may get a few strange looks on the tube to work Grin

I have it raw for salads green but I love it stir fried, or in an omelette.

Have you got any nice plans for your birthday? Are you going to treat yourself? Is the ghd styling wand on your list still?

How old is dd2? Does she tell you when she needs to go? Or signal? I really should start ds1 but he is showing no signs of readiness he will be 3 in July. I feel shameful that I'm not trying yet.

Bloody hormones...... sometimes I think it would be easier to be a man. I'm lucky that I don't really suffer but I'm sure I will end up paying for it.....maybe when I hit the menopause?!?

Could you buy yourself something nice to wear?

How are you getting on beyond? Is the c25k getting harder? I really envy you. I can't run to save my life.

I'm thinking of throwing the towel in with this body coach diet. I just can't motivate myself. Maybe I just need to get this holiday out the way and the knuckle down?

Report
SolitudeSometimesIs · 25/04/2016 12:08

Ooooh what's a miracle swimsuit Rachey? Can you post a link? I'm off on holiday in the Summer and it sounds like something I will need. How long have you got left on Body Coach? Could you give yourself a proper week off and the try again?

Have you started Exante Green? Surely potty training a toddler and dieting are a bad combination, I couldn't imagine anything worse. Have you decided on a birthday present yet?

I'm on Day 1 of Exante and plan to Shred when the kids are in bed. DH wants to do it too, which should have hilarious results as he is far more unfit than me. I have been really horrified by the shape of my body, I hadn't realised how wide and lumpy I was from the back. The place we were staying had mirrors along the walls as you go up the stairs and I got a really good shot of how big I am from the back. I have 3 arses. The first is my regular arse, the second is one that seems to be creeping up my back and the third is these awful haunches on the sides of my hips, from my belly button to the tops of my thighs - I have never been this shape, it's so depressing.

BUT I am making changes and I'm going to look different by the end of May. Who wants to join me for Makeover May where we literally work our arses off (3 in my case) and see how much we can change? I know I'm a week early but I'm having a now-or-never moment and need to start straight away.

Hello everyone, sorry had busy few days at work and then an hectic weekend.

Sol So nice to see you. Glad to hear your have been given the all clear with your health. Very glad you had a great weekend, those 4lbs and more will be off soon. Will be interested to hear about the shred.

Green I felt very hormonal pre holiday, feel quite a bit better now, so I prescribe you a holiday! I think our birthdays fall around the same time. Do you have nice plans? DD is not at all interested in potty training so I am going to leave it for a while.

Lovely clothes Rachey I've never had the body for that Zara dress. Good news on the swimsuit. I think you must be very slim anyway, your weight is good and all that exercise...

I remain fat. Despite fasting 2 days last week (admittedly 1 day was 800 cal, and I only managed 1 run), I seem to have gained a lb. Marvellous. I fasted today and planning to fast on Wednesday. I'd like to get a 3rd fast day in but not sure when.

DD awake again, back later.

HI Beyond, you sound like you are doing so well with your running, are you on week 5 now? You'll be doing the London marathon next year. 3 fast days is tough, I can never manage a weekend day. I'm sure you're not fat, maybe you have post-holiday blues and should plan your next one!

So I had 3 packs of food and one cookie so that is 800 cals today. I also did The Shred with DH who was making hilarious comments all the way through so it was a bit of a laugh. I think having him there made it easier but I couldn't look at him as I reckon I look like a fat, sweaty troll when I work out - there were boobs and my belly flying everywhere. Sexy.

A friend recommended the Body Coach cookbook - Lean in 15 - as something DH might be in to, has anyone tried out the recipes? I know you follow his plan Rachey but I wasn't sure if it was the same one. I had a look at a few bits he does on Instagram but his style is so annoying I had to switch them off. The meals look nice though and I think DH would eat most of them, I'm hoping if he starts seeing the results from The Shred it will spur him on to change his eating habits.

Weighed myself this morning and I have lost 3.8 lbs in 24 hours. Feeling very happy about that and it has spurred me on for the day. Thighs a bit tender after The Shred last night but nothing I can't handle.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Well done sol that's amazing. It's great that dh is working out with you. I love the sore achey feeling......feels like you have achieved something. Are you shreading it every day? Or 3 times a week?
The meals are nice and have tons of flavour, I agree he is so annoying. I would recommend the book. The meals on his plan are different but similar.

Don't be so hard on yourself beyond fasting is hard at times. You are doing so well with your running. Thanks for the compliment but I'm far from slim. All my fat is around my mid section which I doubt will go.

How's things with you green?

My new swimsuit looks good but I doubt it makes me look 10lbs lighter and I reckon has the same results as a tummy control swimsuit for a fraction of the price oh well it does look ok on.

Booking to go centre parcs with friends in November and no one wants to share with us as my boys are noisy Blush

Hope you all have a great day

Hi Mimosa, of course you can join. Have you a diet or exercise plan in mind? I think between us all we have tried all of them, so ask away if you need any advice. I'm currently on Exante and 30 day Shred. I'm full of optimism as it's only day 2! Grin The weather is a great incentive to get out and about.

No one would want to share with my kids either Rachey, but then I wouldn't want to be hassled by other peoples kids on holidays so it wouldn't bother me Can you book accommodation so you are next door to your friends? I've never been to Center Parcs so not sure how it works. I like the swimsuit but I need one with some sort of whale bone corset to make sure I look presentable, I bet if we invented one it would make a fortune.

I think I'll pick up the cookbook, even just to get some new recipes as I have been cooking the same stuff for months now. DH wouldn't dare complain but it can't be very exciting.

Hi everyone. Welcome to the thread Mimosa.

Well done on the weight loss Sol. Great work with the Shred too, I'm glad you can walk today.

I bet you look great Rachey, you've lost loads and been so good with the gym. I've heard that BHS are actually pretty good for control swimwear if you fancied something cheaper.

I'm also an antisocial person on holiday. I'd prefer to not even have to bring my own children!

I hope your non fast day goes well Beyond.

I couldn't face Exante yesterday. I was going to fast today but ended up eating a Cadburys creme egg for lunch. I'm not doing too well (as you may have guessed)

I've just had a letter saying that DD2 has got a place at the school nursery from September. Shock
That's why I'm worried about potty training, but I don't think she's ready. She's had cold and not feeling herself. I'll wait another couple of weeks.
She's also 3 in July. I suppose if I wait till she wants too, and is ready she will do it quite quickly. DD1 did it that way with very few accidents.

It's freezing here today. I planned a good walk after toddler group but it was snowing so I went the quick way instead. Brrrr

Dd is also 3 in July Green, I've tried to talk to her about the potty, but she's not interested so will leave it. If you try in a couple of months, your DD may 'click' really easily. I don't like the creme eggs as much now not dairy milk :( I did however this year, discover oreo mini eggs. They re amazing. Fortunately or not they have all gone now.

Destined to always be a chubber.
