I bought a really good shaper (Sainsbury's) turns out that the dress was really poor quality, the zip was just terrible. I've ordered more dresses! They are more autumnal.
I love autumn Sol, it's turned here too. It feels much better. But please pray that the new dresses with have the answer to the wedding nightmare.

My plan seems just like your plan. The school holidays are terrible for dieting. September seems like a fresh start. In 2 weeks time I will be able to get sorted out properly.
I will have a think about recipes tomorrow for you.

sol congrats on 2lb loss that's amazing. sounds like s great plan. how long have you been veggie for? I love a great veggie chilli, tofu stir fry, roasted veg fajitas with beans n cheese.

pom how are you getting on?

I have had a great 6 weeks eating what I want now the fearful truth how much weight I have put on. Today is the start of me eating health again. I'm seeing my pt on Wednesday and finishing the last of my sessions then not continuing. Our finances have changed and I cannot justify spending all that extra money on myself.

Sorry for being MIA again. Hectic end to summer holidays. I am waddling in with only a vague plan.
Sol well done on your 2lbs. How was your summer? Hope you had a great holiday. Your plan sounds good.
Green Good blow dry, lipstick, mani and pedi and you will feel great. Link the new potential dresses if you get a mo. I agree, September seems a good time for us to restart. Summer is just impossible.
Rachey How's thing's with you? You are so motivated with exercise, you probably don't need a PT?

I braved the scales on Saturday. It was horrific. Since then I have been low carbing and limiting cals to 1200 a day. I didn't think I'd manage a fast day on the 1st week back on dieting and the week DD starts school...
I want to lost 18lbs before Christmas and a stone post. So, 32lbs. Might be unrealistic as not. been that weight for about 15 years !

Oh I'm going to have a treat when I get to 14lbs off. Probably a bag.

Oh feck, my post from yesterday never posted, how annoying. I'm not sure if it's this site or my computer. I've eaten so much crap today as there was a birthday party in work and mountains of food.

Nice to see you again Pom, I'll join you for 18 lbs gone by Christmas. I think this is the 6th year so it would be a shame not to take part in the annual event Grin

What dresses did you order Green? I'm shopping vicariously through you. Where was the rubbish dress from? I had a little potter around Next last weekend and I was surprised by how bad some of their tailoring was, lots of unspooling threads.

How was your personal training session Rachey? You are so dedicated to exercise I'm sure you will be well able to do just fine by yourself.

sol don't feel to bad about yesterday. Birthdays are always hard.

green how's your week going?

I'm having a bad week, work is awful st the mo, asked to change my hours by 1 just starting earlier and finishing earlier and I got a shitty reply asking for clarification on my job what I do and a renegotiation of my contract and salary?!?? I mean wtf?!?

To top it all off I'm back to 67kg after my relaxed summer. pom and sol thanks exercise isn't my issue, its food Sad

Sorry to hear work awful Rachey Is the easiest option to stick to the house you are doing (if that's possible). Renegotiation of contract/salary sounds like a can of worms....

How are you green ? Any progress with outfit?

I had to get new scales and they are reading heavier, which was a huge disappointment. DH is going to weigh in tomorrow as he is pretty much always the same, I should then be able to work out how much I have hopefully lost this week (I have been pretty good). So, I am going to keep a tally of lbs lost as not not really sure of my start weight! If that makes sense .....
From new scales, it remains around 30lbs (sigh)

Hope back to/starting school has gone well.

Jesus, you guys have been together 6 years? I only joined 2.3 years ago. I didn't realise it had been going on so long.

pom sorry to hear about the scales reading heavier what kind did you buy? I've heard good things about the Fitbit scales.

Oh says I should take a pay cut and start from the bottom if it means happiness.

I've lost 2 1/2 kg this week, but I have just eaten a Indian. I'm really going to knuckle down next week.

I weighed in on Sunday and have lost 4lbs. I went off the rails a bit on Sunday/Monday with social things and so going to have to be very good for the rest of the week.

Well done on our 2.5 kgs rachey Did you manage to resist toast? Hows things with work?

Todays plan:
Greek yogurt and berries - 200 cals
Ham salad - 250 cals
chicken stir fry 300 cals
snack - probably berries and more yogurt if desperate - 200 cals

They will be zero weight loss for me this week. I have stuffed my face and I'm now sitting in creams after polishing off a huge ice cream while dcs run about in the soft play area

TOTM for me so I am avoiding the scales like the plague.

Pom if you put a bag of flour or pound of butter on the scales it will let you know if they are correct.

Rachey have you talked to an employment agency? They could help you with jobs in the same area and can advise you on wages. I took a sideways step in my career so I could be more flexible with the kids and what I have lost in wages, it has balanced out in childcare costs and a better balance for us all.

Breakfast
2x boiled eggs, spinach and 4 tomatoes. Approx 170 cals

Snack
Protein snack 106 cals

Lunch
Tuna salad with Italian dressing approx 300 cals

Snack
2 medium boiled eggs approx 160 cals

Dinner
Salmon fillet in spinach and creme sauce with broccoli and asparagus approx 330 cals

Unsure of dinner yet. Spinning tonight which I normally burn about 500-600 cals

Will have a protein drink before spinning

I'm trying to think about what I need to do next. I was thinking of just sticking to 1500 calories a day and being sensible with carbs and alcohol. But I'm also tempted by the Blood sugar diet.

Ds1 is really struggling with school, it makes me so sad when he says he hates it.

I'm trying to get back into a healthy eating plan but I'm always so hungry.

That's a shame about Your DS Rachey. Can he explain what he doesn't like about?
If you haven't done so already I would speak to the staff. They are very keen for the children to settle in well at DDs school. It's the main focus for this half term. He might just need more praise and attention.
It's not nice for you though. I felt really bad last week as it was the first time DD2 had stayed for lunch and she wouldn't eat anything.

I've weighed myself this morning and I'm the fattest I've ever been. I'm trying not to feel sorry for myself. I have so much to lose, it feels overwhelming. (I know I need to break it down into chunks, but I'm feeling sorry for myself)
Ive been reading up on BSD. I'm starting today.
I'm not going to worry too much about calorie and carb/protein counting this week. I just need to get back into some sort of routine with eating sensibly to start with.

green is your daughter still at the settling in period? Bless her, I bet she was starving when she got home.

He had a better day yesterday, got a sticker and a merit for answering a question right. I think he just needs time. He says it scares him, but I think it's more being told off if he doesn't do his work. He loves rewards so I'm thinking the merit was a huge boost. Only time will tell.

That sounds like a sensible plan. The dsd is good I may join you in the new year.

It can be so overwhelming all this dieting lark. I know my relationship with food is unhealthy I just wish I could stop binge eating. I have no self control.

I have so many events and things coming up I have no idea when to start every diet is all or nothing. The weekend after nxt I'm off to champneys which oh brought me for my birthday, then the following 2 weekends I'm out for drinks. I have plans all they way up till end of November so I think I can't really start a drastic diet plan till Jan, that then gives me 10 months till my wedding.
