I have yoyoed with the same stone since the beginning of last year. Getting fed up now but need some motivation to stick with it. Anyone else in the same boat? I'm so near yet so far!

Will be weighing in tomorrow and posting all food eaten. Feel free to join me!

Sorry for not posting for a while!

I lost 2lbs last week but have had a busy week of eating so prob gained it all back again !

I've not posted for a while because I'd been essentially STS (have even been posting on 'plateau' threads again!)

But have just had a mini-whoosh and am now only 1lb off my target!

(may have already sabotaged that a bit though, as I took the DC out for dinner last night)

I have been so crap with posting. Food is OK mostly but not good enough! I promise to start posting more. Have a wedding in a few weekends so want to feel nice for that.
Have been running once a week which is ok but I'm going twice a week from this week. I desperately need a manicure and pedicure but am short on funds after our holiday so moisturised my arms, hands, legs and feet with a thick moisturiser - every little helps! Planning on doing something healthy / good for me / my body once a day. If I look good then I feel good!

Today's post -

Planned menu for the day:

Shredded wheat minis and skimmed milk

Chicken and mixed beans salad

Chicken, potatoes and veg for dinner

Fruit and yoghurt to snack on.

Will paint toe nails tonight Smile

Pleased to say I stuck with it today Smile

Didn't get as far as painting my toe nails but did take the old nail polish off.

Ordered a couple of outfit options for wedding at the end of the month to try on.

Another good day!

Painted my nails tonight.

Next stop, getting my feet looking tip top!

I could do with a pedicure, or at least just repainting my toenails.

I never seem to get round to it.

Perhaps once the DC have broken up, and routine changes (should that be vanishes?) I'll get it done.

Twinklestar2 · 07/07/2016 09:09

Yesterday’s ‘doing something for me’ ended up quite pricey! Had my hair cut and coloured!

Food wise I could’ve been a bit better – I was off work so picked at son’s leftovers but it could’ve been worse, I suppose…

Back at work today and some semblance of a routine. Nearly popped into Pret and got myself a latte but stopped myself!

Haven't gymned this week and need to...

Food wise - ok.

That's all!

Good morning!

I think I might have done it.

My scales aren't hugely accurate, so I want to get the same reading a couple of times more just to be sure they really mean it.

Twinklestar2 · 08/07/2016 12:12

Wow wow wow! Well done! What was your start weight and your weight now and how long did it take you?

I joined this thread back in February, and started MFPing in 1 March.

I've revised my target weight downwards as I progressed.

Total loss is from BMI 27.1 to current 21.4

Fingers crossed that the scales stay steady over the weekend, then I might really start believing it!

readyforsunshine · 09/07/2016 08:19

Well done Stella that's fantastic!

hinkyhonk · 11/07/2016 20:25

Good effort!

I'm stuck. I got down to just over 9st but in the last two weeks have been emotionally eating again and stopped doing my exercise DVD so I'm back up a bit.

I need to keep cracking on as I'm still not happy at this weight though it is much closer to where I want to be from where I started. Back to writing what I'm not eating down and attempting to fit in a bit of exercise. should be easier over the summer hols I would hope! To get to a bmi of under 22 I need to get rid of another half a stone.

Onwards I guess

Twinklestar2 · 11/07/2016 21:15

I've been good today. Been having cauli rice with meals as cutting back on carbs.

I've been good and my stomach feels flatter Smile

AuntieStella · 31/08/2016 08:59

The thread has gone quiet, but I'm posting to see if any of the posters from earlier this year ate still around, and how everyone is getting on.

I need a shot of motivation, as I have 5lbs to shift acquired over the summer (I blame the booze) and so want to tackle it asap with the start of term.

hinkyhonk · 03/09/2016 07:04

Im lurking. I've got 3 lbs back on which is utterly depressing. I've been sensible with eating and there is no sign of it budging sadly. Term starts on Monday so I'll be back on the 30 day shred to try to move it. I'm so fed up of it. I want my body back!!

AuntieStella · 03/09/2016 07:31

I've started more exercise (even running!) but for me that's more to do with body tone. And a faint effort to rebuild my bum as it vanished (well flattened) when I got down to target. Though my hopes for that are fading, as the main bodily effect so far (C25K) has been a knackered ankle and achy calves.

I've found the key for me is eating less. And not drinking alcohol most days.
