I have yoyoed with the same stone since the beginning of last year. Getting fed up now but need some motivation to stick with it. Anyone else in the same boat? I'm so near yet so far!

Will be weighing in tomorrow and posting all food eaten. Feel free to join me!

Yes please!! 5'4" and 12lbs to shift. I lost a LOT of weight a few years ago (have lost more than I actually weigh now!) but keep yoyoing from the mid-9s to mid-10s and my jeans are just a bit too snug at the upper end of the range!

Avpixie27 · 15/02/2016 16:24

I just bought the insanity workout box set, comes with meal ideas and dvds and a calendar to track what i do, watch this space

I'm afraid my day hasn't gone well! Up ridiculously early with toddler = eating too much sugar. My breakfast was 500 Cals! Tried to pull it back with salad for lunch but then there was bday cake in the office. I have a couple of hundred Cals left but I did eat a handful of cashews. Argh! I'll have a healthy dinner and draw a line under it. Hope you've all done better than me!

After yesterday's over eating I found my motivation today! Gutted the house, power walked the dog's for 3 miles while pushing my 2yr old in her buggy.

My food for today has been - Lunch, sandwich with banana and a packer of Walkers baked crisps.

Dinner - Pasta, Turkey and loads of salad

I've still got calories left for a cream egg but I might swap it for a hot chocolate and a piece of fruit.

BloodyDogHairs · 15/02/2016 18:24

Oh and I meant to add I've drank roughly 3 litres of water so I running to the toilet alot Grin

fadingblonde1 · 16/02/2016 09:26

I haven't eaten any chocolate, crisps, junk food for six days now but I've not lost any weight, if anything I'm maybe half a pound heavier! I know I need to strictly calorie count, I've been having between 1000-1,500 a day and I'll only maintain on that amount (short arse here). I have managed to do more steps and the scales say my body fat has gone down but I don't know how accurate that is and I don't feel any different.

Howaboutthisone · 16/02/2016 09:36

I need to join you and will rtft this afternoon.

patterkiller · 16/02/2016 10:22

fadingblond I sometimes stall when I've been really good then find I've lost more than I thought I would the following week.

fadingblonde1 · 16/02/2016 13:07

I hope that's the case patterkiller, I do think that maybe what you eat/don't eat sometimes takes a week to catch up with you. I had plenty of wine/chocolates/rubbish over Xmas and supposedly didn't put on a pound, yet after a week of 'normal' eating in January I was two pounds heavier.

Twinklestar2 · 16/02/2016 17:43

Well done all Smile

Today has gone better. On way home for chilli and rice Grin

That's good twinklestar

I'be stuck to my 1200cals today too, I tried on my holiday clothes from last year and I have got a few I can't even do the button Blush so I've kept them out of my drawer to remind myself not to eat rubbish.

SmellTheGlove · 16/02/2016 20:59

Did well yesterday but then was home on my own today so I just end up picking at stuff. I'm definitely over my calories and didn't even do any walking as I've been painting skirting boards most of the day! Maybe that burns loads of calories??!!

fadingblonde1 · 17/02/2016 11:06

Stuck to 1000 cals yesterday but was home most of the day and not very active. I haven't eaten yet today, I'll try to hold off till lunch time now as I get hungrier as the day goes on.

fadingblonde1 · 18/02/2016 11:31

Did well yesterday but again not very active. The scales today showed a weight loss of 1.5 pounds but body fat has gone up so I think I have maybe lost water weight. Still at least it's heading in the right direction finally :)

BloodyDogHairs · 18/02/2016 12:58

I'm sticking to it too but Omg I'd love to sit down some nights with a can of juice and a packet of mini eggs!

I weighed in this morning and my scales are showing a 2lb loss since Monday.

Twinklestar2 · 18/02/2016 19:37

I'm not doing well today! This is why I yoyo, I have one good day then one bad day. Just feel like stuffing my face at the moment.

Can I join in? I have a stone to lose. I tend to comfort eat and the last year has been tough with illness and bereavement and separation and the weight has crept on. Today I felt bloated and uncomfortable and decided enough is enough. From Monday I'm going to try and lose that stone. I've too much in the fridge and cupboards to start today, but Monday most will be gone and I'll make a start.

I don't really have a plan, but will probably use My fitness pal and try and cut out sugar and chocolate and cake and biscuits and bread.

Twinklestar2 · 19/02/2016 08:46

Welcome Talu Smile

Welcome Talu.

I use MFP and since Monday I've stuck to 1200 cals, I'm debating whether to have a really light lunch and have a takeaway tonight.

fadingblonde1 · 19/02/2016 10:06

Welcome Talu :)

I had about 1,200 cals yesterday but I find it gets harder come the weekend. I can't get out of the mindset that I 'deserve' a treat for some reason - god knows why and I know this is what stops me losing weight. I'll lose a pound Monday to Friday, and put it back on over the weekend.

SmellTheGlove · 19/02/2016 15:53

I did ok yesterday and was doing ok today but just ate 5 biscuits because I was feeling really pissed off with DS and his friend over for a playdate because they are really messing about. I definitely have issues around emotional eating! Usually when I'm angry which is a bit odd!!

Talulaley · 19/02/2016 16:06

Thanks for the welcome Smile

I'm going to start going through my cupboards and getting rid of the sweet stuff. I'm definitely an emotional eater.

MinnieLatte · 19/02/2016 18:55

Can I join you all please? I'd like to lose 1.5 stone & I need people to chat to & keep me on track. Can't get my head round the new weight watchers points, I'm also really conscious that I want to try & eat 'normal' food as DD is 10 & I do not want her to become conscious of diet food & becoming obsessed with her weight, I want to watch my portion size & definitely do more exercise– I do very little because I work full time & am tired- but it's a vicious circle, if I exercised more I wouldn't be so tired.
Definitely cutting down on wine & have given crisps up for Lent (good Catholic girl me! Wink)
I'm planning on weighing myself on Wednesdays, I was 11st 7lb this week

BloodyDogHairs · 19/02/2016 19:18

Welcome Minnie!

I did WW years ago and lost 2st on the plan, sadly I put it all and more back on Sad

I count calories and I eat whatever the family eat, I just adjust my portion size.

Cheating tonight tho as I've just ordered a takeaway Cake

MinnieLatte · 19/02/2016 21:14

Thanks Bloody
I also think I'm going to measure myself, boobs, waist & hips. I did this after DD was born when a mate & I did couch to 5K & it was a great incentive.
Will report back tomorrow
