I think the general agreement was that we wouldn't weigh this week, but I thought we ought to start a new thread anyway.

So here it is

Only just got to pc so can't be bothered to email, I got distracted watching the sublime Green Wing. My starting weight is 16st 5lb, so there is a long way to go and its not been a good start. The children have been horrendous tonight, as i was doing dinner they were both standing at the childgate into the kitchen bawling their heads off, I didn't know whether to laugh or scream.
Dottydot, for your benefit: its ok to have put on many pounds (and stones). its ok to have put on many many many pounds. You are doing fantastically anyway so you'll get it off in no time.
Peegee, it is great about the pool. I've been so excited about it for ages and have been promising myself that when it opened I would take advantage of it, theres no excuse really. WWB, I always stop feeling self conscious once I'm in the water, its just the getting to and from the pool that I struggle with!
Algach, when is your wedding? I always feel really cheated that I didn't get a chance to diet for my wedding (I was pg and we planned the whole thing in 12wks) You will look beautiful regardless of your weight anyway

How is everyone feeling this morning? Feeling quite virtuous myself! Had lots of choccy cake yesterday but was DS2's 2nd birthday so it was allowed! So this morning I have started really well - porridge with semi skimmed milk and blueberries and some green tea! I have to have a good start because I am having a friend over tonight and there will be wine involved so probably some small snacks too! Will make sure my meals up until that time are healthy and nutritious to make up for the alcohol and pringles!

WWB - Just giving you as good old poke in the ribs -(poke)-----> to remind you about my last weigh in weight.

Also just to say I am starting next week, I know I said this earlier in the thread but I just want to remind you all.

Dottydot -- I seriously expect to have put on close to 10lb since my last weigh in so 4lb is nothing

Morning all!!!

It's pouring with rain here, lovely. Was planning to go out for a walk with the dc's today but we all hate the rain so hopefully it will dry up at some point during the day.

Justamum,i'm getting married on the 10th of April.A stone is possible and i think i could lose a bit more if i am organised.

One of my friends that i go to slimming class with managed to still lose a pound even tho she had loads of treats at xmas.I was sooo pleased for her as she has the most to lose out of the 5 of us.

Do any of you have "friends" who subtly put you down over weight loss/gains? One of the group of friends does this to my friend who lost the pound.Don't understand it at all,i mean we should all be supporting one another. She even said the scales were prob broken as she couldn't possibly have lost while we all gained.WTF???

Will end up saying something to support my friend and upset the other one, have a big gob sometimes.

Have a good day all,i have had porridge for brekkie and have fruit for snacks and have lunch and dinner planned too so will have an ok day i hope.Well as long as ds1 doesn't annoy/upset me,makes me want to hide in the kitchen and eat trerats all day lol.

Before I do the weights, just a quick reminder about Sue's present. It's all packed up and almost ready to go as soon as Sue and Daniel return, if any of the MoFos who contributed would still like a message to go with the parcel (am thinking about putting them into a little scrap-book) there's still time to get them to me. It would be nice to have them hand-written but email would be OK as well. If you can let me have them soon so I can have everything ready to send as soon as we get word that Sue's home that would be great. My email is traceyparker63 at hotmail dot com just in case you've lost it!

Right, back to the business in hand

Lots of new starters this week, so next week should be a huge list of brilliant weight losses ... but for this week the figures are:

DottyDot: +4lb (total lost 10.5lb)
Fauve: +3lb (total loat 13lb)
JackieNo: +4lb (total lost 29lb)
LittleMissSensible: +3lb (total lost 2lb)
WWB: +7lb (total lost 13lb)

Which definitely means no crown this week although (as it's me!) I think I can allow a festive pig of the week to slip in (don't worry, we don't really have a pig of the week!).

Here's a little kick for this week
