I have my first appointment with my consultant booked for three weeks time. I've done lots of research and prepping and just wondered if anyone else was in the same position? I could do with the support! Smile

I wonder if I've hit ketosis Confused I feel I should have (day 5) but not getting any of the signs or symptoms except no hunger. I have to admit I expected to find it harder but that makes me wonder if I'm doing it right. No cheating happened though. Can't wait for Friday to find out!

You can always get some ketostix to check for ketosis but if you're sticking to it then you must be.

So day 3 weigh in and I have lost a big fat 0! Is that right? Got my official weigh in on Saturday, but I thought I would of lost a bit.

Nick it might just be too soon to tell yet but there's no way you can stick to a VLCD and not lose weight. It's probably just a weird water or hormone thing so don't worry. I'm sure you'll have a good result at your official weigh in. Also some people, like me, don't have a huge loss the first week but lose a reasonable amount in the second week which kind of balances out.

Day 4 for me, I had the forest fruit shake for breakfast which was ok, the spag bol is really good will get more of those next time.

I went on the scales again today and I have now lost 3lbs so pleased with that! Have my official weigh in on Saturday. Does your body get used to all this extra fluid? I think I might have to move my office into the loo at this rate. And I definitely haven't gone into Ketosis yet so maybe tomorrow.

Thank you! I'm glad you've seen some change in the scales, it's a bit of a boost, isn't it? I would say the first three days you probably don't see any change because your body is using up all the reserves from your food and after that it starts on the fat and BINGO!

I lost 8lb! Very pleased with thatGrin

I have to lose 80lb in total and that makes it 10% of my goal. I also lost 4.5inches.

How is everyone else getting on? I'm motivated to start week 2 now.

Well done NickNacks, I told you! I truly believe this is only diet that actually works. You most probably won't loose as much next week but stick with it and you will definitely loose a stone a month Smile

Had my weigh in today and I've lost 5lbs which is amazing! I have also lost 3" off my waist. Only managed 2 of the 3 packs yesterday and today, is that going to bugger things up at all?

Yes you really should have all of your products. Together they contain 100% of all your vitamins and minerals that you need to protect your organs and soft tissue and give you energy. If you don't get them all your body with go in to starvation mode and you definitely won't lose weight Sad

Hi everyone

I weighed in at 13'11 (argh!!) on day 4.
Done this x3 before post pregnancy and lost 1.7 on stage 2 in 6 weeks. Hoping for the same again!!

Goal is 11.5 (I'm 5f5.5)
6 week goal is 12.5

Go us!!

I weigh a fair bit more than you so please don't worry about it! We all have our starting points and targets and the journey in the middle will be tough whatever that looks like. Good luck!

How is everyone else getting on? I'm just coming to the end of day 11 and still on course. I had a chicken and broccoli meal last night when the others had a roast dinner and it was very satisfying. I'm so happy I could feel content on so little and healthy too! Grin

Hello, I would like to join as I have FINALLY made the decision to kick the baby weight (DS is 5) and all the bad habits I have accumulated during the nursery years!

I am using Exante and currently on Day 4 and feeling great. I have lots to lose. However, I'm worried I might be a rather boring thread-mate as I have decided not to weigh and measure. Weighing has derailed all other attempts to lose weight as I have invariably given up during a plateau. Instead I am just going to keep going until I am happy with myself.

Hi Sister welcome aboard. That's fantastic Billabye I have over 3 stone to lose, like you sister I have just got into really bad habits since DD! I am on day 9 and doing ok now I have found the combination of shakes I like.

Hi all, for some reason this dropped out of my 'I'm on' bit so haven't popped in in a while!

I haven't yet weighed, have been a bit on and off (as I usually am Hmm) but aiming for 100% until Friday (have a friend coming to stay) and then back on it from Sat onwards.

How's everyone getting on?

Yes I have billabye, I did LighterLife after leaving university to lose the 3 st of beer and gin I had accumulated!

I'm sure I will weigh myself eventually but for now I'm 100% sure it's the right decision not to- I need to take away the constant ruminating about how much I want to lose by when and the feeling that, whatever I do, the numbers don't move down fast enough. I have chucked the battery out of the scales. Grin

I have been gagging for a biscuit this afternoon but have stayed strong!

Hope everyone is having a good day- well done on all the losses!
