Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

That's reminded me emz I'm due to meet friends for a curry on sat night, anyone know what's best to go with calorie wise???
I love naan and normally have a mackhani or biryani (chicken), and chips Blushand rice Blush and popadoms, can't think why I put weight on!! Ha ha

Emz449 · 02/02/2016 22:07

I'd usually go for tandoori chicken? It's dry but delicious, cauliflower bhajis are good too!

I won't be good tomorrow however, going for the full works! Work has been absolutely shite for the past week so we're using tomorrow as a chance to let off some steam

Emz449 · 02/02/2016 22:09

That does mean being good all of tomorrow, have menu planned!

Weetabix with chopped banana 300 calories
Apple
Mexican stew 203 calories
Grapes and mini Milky Way 100 calories
(I don't count fruit and veg calories now I'm at goal)

10,000 calories for dinner Grin

Back down to 9st 13.5 this morning, so the weekend weight is gone, thank goodness! Hoping I could lose another pound this week, my ideal would be 9st12 by Sunday, as that's when we are going clothes shopping for my post-weight loss makeover! Need to go through my wardrobe today/tomorrow and work out what stays and what goes, then I'll know what gaps I have that need to be filled. Looking forward to going clothes shopping and feeling good about my body!

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2016 06:38

That's great jonty, you so deserve a shopping spree. I braved the scales this morning and I'm up 1lb from Friday to 11.12 - this isn't anything new, apart from 2 weeks I've always been up following the weekend. It's much better than I expected as my weekend eating was out of control. So here's hoping to be under 11.11 on Friday (then have 2 nights out - oh jeez)
6 weeks to my holidays - to be under 11 by the 16th March is the goal. At my current rate it's unlikely, hey ho I'll get there at even if it's not in that timescale.

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2016 06:41

Ooh and we'll need a new thread soon!!! Emz, will you be around to start one? Can't believe only 18 posts to 1000!

Twinklestar2 · 03/02/2016 08:21

Nottobeobvious - belvitas are finished! But I do agree with you that they are full of sugar. Sometimes I just need something quick to grab while running out of the door.

I can't go without breakfast and eat at work, if faint.

I do need to be more prepared in the morning...

StewardsEnquiry · 03/02/2016 08:23

Indian meals are the worst IME. I just cannot show restraint and then it is really salty too so I get water weight on top of the too many calories. Yummy though.

I am down again today to 9st11. Two lb to go to goal!!!!

Have a lovely shopping trip, Jonty. Please tell us what you get. I also need a few bits, such as underwear and I do not own a swimming costume at all now. I will need a completely new summer wardrobe.

Twinklestar2 · 03/02/2016 08:23

Well done on all the losses and yum to the Indian food Grin

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2016 08:29

I think you should go for a bikini stew after losing all that weight. Swimming costume puts me in mind of a knitted one piece for 1920 with one of them swim hats with the flowers all over 😁 I bought 2 gorgeous bikinis with the hope I'll be close to 10 stone by July, of course I haven't seen the lower part of my stomach since I was a child! I remember when I got to my lowest weight of 11 stone (lowest for years) I discovered I had a beauty spot/mole on my lower tummy that I never knew I had! It was quite the revelation....

MustBeThin · 03/02/2016 08:56

Well done on the losses!
Jonty it will be amazing going clothes shopping, I can't stand it and haven't been able to for years. If I ever got down to your weight you wouldn't be able to keep me out of the shops. Grin

Not2b We must be beauty spot twins, I have one there too. Funnily enough me and my mum also have another one in the exact same place.

Still 12st 11 today. My goal by the 1st of March is to be 12st 7, I will have lost a stone. Seems like it will take forever to lose just 4lbs after losing 10lb in a month. To be fair though I seemed to have lost the last 2lbs in 2 days for some reason. Hmm

Out for lunch, will be having lasagne and garlic bread again!!! Garlic bread is my weakness. I have skipped breakfast to save some calories, I am not usually hungry after eating out and the last two times I've ended up skipping tea as well but if I get peckish I will have an egg or something.

ThatIsSoFetch · 03/02/2016 09:11

I always find Chicken Tikka (Dry) & Salad is the best bet at an Indian. With a poppadum or chapatti if the calories allow.
I'm going out for a meal for Valentines so might reduce my calories by 200 a day the week before to allow for a feast :D
Looking forward to my first weigh in on Saturday, i'm already starting to feel less bloated after a couple of days on track.

Emz449 · 03/02/2016 13:01

Oh I don't think it'll be a healthy meal! I don't plan on it being healthy anyway Grin breakfast/lunch though.

Jonty I'm jealous of your shopping spree, really need to get some new clothes!!

Ugh having a tough day with baby, he's going through teething and learning to crawl, which means lots of crying and hardly any naps. I'm trying not to throw myself at the biscuit tin in response....

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2016 17:35

Oh I don't miss the baby stage sometimes jonty - this would be one of those times! Be strong, it'll pass soon I'm sure. And then you'll get the dribbly cuddles

JontyDoggle37 · 04/02/2016 08:29

Morning all. Managed to stay out if the biscuits yesterday despite it being a tough day, which I'm quite proud of. No loss today, but none expected as I lost yesterday. Hoping to see another loss tomorrow or Saturday so need to stay on track!

MustBeThin · 04/02/2016 09:44

Well done for staying away from the biscuits jonty

I'm super annoyed this morning Angry scales are showing 12st 12. I had lasagne 1 piece of Garlic Bread, boiled egg and a slice of wholemeal bread all day and drank loads of water. God forbid I have anything nice, wouldn't mind but almost every day I eat 100-200 below my calories I have one nice thing and I'm up 1lb. Be good if I could loose weight as quick as I'm able to gain it wouldn't it. Sad

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2016 10:02

Ah now must, you didn't gain a lb, you have a lb of food/salt that mixed with water is...ahem...waste in your system. This is why daily weighing can be the cure or the curse for us fat fighters.
I celebrated some good health news in wine and chocolate & crisps I enjoyed it greatly, need to be better today - no need to turn it into a celebration week 😉

Emz449 · 04/02/2016 10:31

Morning all! Hope you have all had a good evening. Indian food was fantastic, 2lbs up this morning but it's food/water/salt weight and will easily come off before the weekend. Playing badminton later today during lunch which should be fun and should help with the gain!

Low calorie day today, Mexican stew for lunch and meatballs and courgette for dinner. Nice and easy! Nearly time for a new thread now! Will set it up now so that there isn't a gap Smile

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2016 10:55

Woohoo new thread!!

Testarossa1 · 06/02/2016 10:05

Woo! Weigh day for me and have broken through the 10st barrier! By a pound, have lost a pound and a half this week, taking me to 9.13! So happy! Think it's helped I made a load of home made veg soup with a bit of chicken thrown in. Had that 3 times this week.

Due a review at the gym soon, hoping my measurements have reduced to reflect the weight loss and the hard work put in at the gym.....

PrizeyPrize · 09/02/2016 13:59

Hello everyone, can I join in? I've put on 2 stone in a year Shock and have just downloaded MFP.
Second day in....and I'm a lb down already! Love the app - I've been used to WW in the past, but this is just as good, if not better.
