Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

Well done everyone on the losses!
No batteries in scales at the minute so have no idea and its the period fairy week so bound to be heavier.
Going to try and meal plan this week and freeze some to keep me away from the chicken nuggets!

JontyDoggle37 · 26/01/2016 16:06

It's been a fairly crap afternoon (horses and babies not co-operating to the extent I am covered head to toe in mud, cold, knackered plus I got a parking ticket because they have a blind inspector who can't see tickets). I am having a cup of tea and 2 ginger biscuits that are within meal plan, and trying to recalibrate myself out of 'this is a sh*t day' so I don't start eating just because I'm pissed off.

StewardsEnquiry · 26/01/2016 18:48

Don't start eating loads Jonty. It will still be a shit day and you will be even more pissed off on the scales tomorrow

JontyDoggle37 · 26/01/2016 19:03

Thanks Stewards I'd cracked and decided I was having wine and then remembered I'm in really strong antibiotics and can't even have that. So I'm making dinner so at least I can eat that.

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2016 19:09

Sounds like a sod of a day jonty, I got a parking ticket (deserved in my case) recently and I was gutted, €40! Hope you're having something lovely for dinner
I'm having a small glass of red, you my health you see Hmm On around 1150 cals so far today, that might be all I have if I can stay strong

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2016 19:10

for my health...arg I'm drunk typing already😁

Bathsheba3 · 26/01/2016 22:23

OMG - wish i had one of those step-recording thingymadoodas. I've been meaning to log in since 6.25 am, realised I was already pipped to the post, twice, for the early-morning wake-up weigh-in, and haven't had a moment since. Well, what a day. Lots of motivational posts, and great losses. Hope you have been strong Jonty and stayed off the rubbish. And Thankful - you ARE amazing. Hope you stayed strong, twas a mere temporary bloat, as Not2 put it so well. I'm still feeling lardy, but a tighter lardy. Scales tomorrow will tell. Have had veg juice for breckie, roast veg & salmon for lunch, more veg for tea, and a glass of wine for pud (plus a small portion jordons oat cluster things). Head feeling more balanced. Thank god.

Hope you have a good work trip away Emz.

JontyDoggle37 · 27/01/2016 06:06

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG Boogie Woogie Woogie Woogie WOO!
I'M IN THE 9's!!!!!!!!!
9st 13.5. I can't believe it. I haven't been this slim since University! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😄😄😄😄😄😄😄🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾

Not2bObvious · 27/01/2016 06:30

That is brilliant jonty!!! Congratulations, you totally earned that. You've inspired me to go do my DVD, I was tempted to say sod it but now I'm on it like a car bonnet 😉 I'm sure you'll be going around all day grinning like a mad woman lol

Bathsheba3 · 27/01/2016 07:16

AMAZING Jonty - so well deserved. Bet you are skipping around today! StarStarStarStarStar

Bathsheba3 · 27/01/2016 07:25

And you've inspired me. I'm in my running stuff.

I couldn't imagine what / who I would look like if I was 2 stone 1/2 lbs lighter.

You are brilliant Jonty - and well up on the podium now with Emz. Must is heading there too at this rate. I'm plodding along at the back.

JontyDoggle37 · 27/01/2016 07:50

And a big thank you to stewardsfir the handhold last night - it meant a loss today instead of a big bloaty gain!!!

Bathsheba3 · 27/01/2016 07:58

Stew on the podium too from yesterday! (sorry - forgot). Wow, medals being awarded everywhere. Deservedly so.

Not2bObvious · 27/01/2016 08:44

That's a good point bath, I can't visualise myself at 9st 11lb which is 2 stone away and my goal weight for YEARS, could 2016 be the year I get to see it? And what would I look like that slim...

JontyDoggle37 · 27/01/2016 08:53

Not2b at a steady rate of 1lb a week, that's only 28 weeks away, which is about the end of July. So 2016 IS the year when you'll see 9st 11. Simples.Smile

StewardsEnquiry · 27/01/2016 09:15

Well done Jonty! Hurray!

Just keep at it Not2, perseverance pays off.

Have a lovely run Bath (it's a bit cold for me to run!)

No loss for me unsurprisingly after the whoosh yesterday. No problem, I am in the 9s!!!

MustBeThin · 27/01/2016 10:26

Omg well done stew and jonty the 9's?! I can't even begin to imagine what it would feel like to be that weight, you must be thrilled. I don't remember ever being in the 9's I remember in my mid teens being in the 8's didn't get on the scales for years and the next time I weighed myself I was almost in the 11's. I blame the boob growth and periods lol. Thing is when I was a skinny teen in the 8's I was convinced I was fat Hmm now I could kick myself for being so stupid and letting it get me down. I think it's because I used to hang around with two sisters who were in the 6's so I always felt huge to them when in reality I was probably an ok weight. Sad
I'm not sure whether I'll ever reach the 9's it seems so far away but I'm going to stay on track and see how far I can make it.

How much weight did you all lose before you could see a difference in the mirror? I can tell my tummy is a little smaller (probably less bloated) by how it feels and how my clothes fit. Obviously haven't noticed any more differences yet, can't wait until I can. Grin

StewardsEnquiry · 27/01/2016 11:38

I think I had lost about 2 st before I could notice it in the mirror. Way before that though my clothes were too big and other people were noticing.

Not2bObvious · 27/01/2016 13:25

Soup day going good so far, broke fast with poached egg on wholemeal toast. Chicken & veg for dinner. Did 20 minutes of the new Davina DVD this morning, was all I could manage but pleased with that. Yep 1lb should be doable if I control my weekend munchies😁 If I kept to that I'd definitely be in a bikini for my summer hols at the start of July, be the first time in a dozen years!

Bathsheba3 · 27/01/2016 14:44

Run done. Which sounds better, 5k or 3m? In any case I managed non-stop. My problem is clearly food then, not exercise Hmm

JontyDoggle37 · 27/01/2016 14:56

Bath I always find exercising helps me stay on track with the food though - something about those endorphins.
Not2b better to build up on the exercise a bit at a time than go mad and then injure yourself and be out of action for ages.

Not2bObvious · 27/01/2016 15:13

Well done bath, I haven't ran in nearly 2 months. Yes very slowly getting back into it jonty, nice to feel like I'm on the road again - your WI this morning spurned me on 😉

Bathsheba3 · 27/01/2016 16:27

Just tucking in to homemade soup. Yum. Can't understand why it is 259 cals / portion though, when it is just vegetables, splash olive oil, and beans? Do you think they are counting in the bread or not? (I'm being good, and no bread for me).

MustBeThin · 27/01/2016 16:38

Don't know bath when I made soup I just put all the ingredients into MFP as a new recipe and put in how many portions it made. Works out the calls per serving then.

MustBeThin · 27/01/2016 16:39

Looking at that recipe I'd say they included the bread calories as it's listed in the ingredients.
