Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

Oh and welcome Still! I don't really have any clever meal tips to offer at the moment, everything's up the air - I mainly just avoid things I know are horrendously calorific like the plague, i.e. pasta, potatoes, sauces. Chips and bread not so much yesterday... but I am ill! In fact bread has been quite an integral part of my diet the last couple of months, that might be why it slowed down so much. I might have to switch back to ryvita things being the only bread type thing, like at the start. I don't want the last 0.5-1 stone to take six months just because I can't stop eating sandwiches. Confused

Bath I'm only just fitting into my old size 12 jeans (which are being chucked out imminently, because, by god, I did not realise how unflattering they were - I'm far too used to skinnies now), but I'm 5'4, so I guess a couple of inches make a big difference?

Just done my shopping, went to get my teabags and saw a drink called Peanut Hottie. Shock Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate and only 83 cals a mug. 😀😀 obviously had to buy some, has anyone tried it? Please don't ruin my moment and tell me it tastes of piss lol.

I'm at 10st 12.3 for two days running so I'm very happy with that. I have a moderately social weekend coming up though so I am planning on choosing wisely from the menu.

Morning all Not2b I can sympathise, after the yuck fest last night of peanuts, wine and chocolate I had a really upset stomach this morning. Too much crap! And all because I forgot to get dinner out of the freezer so went to the shop instead and got completely derailed. Didn't weight this morning, have a feeling it would just make me miserable, and too busy as well here only just getting on here. Had proper breakfast today but lunch has been a piece of cheese and a pickled onion as no time. Paella tonight though 😄

Hope everyone has had a good Friday! Mine has been absolutely terrible. The most stressful day at work since I've started I think!! Currently drinking some prosecco to get my through the evening and stop checking my emails. Thank god it's the weekend! Haven't got anything planned this is week which is nice, don't think I'll be getting up early tomorrow or Sunday, I need a lie in. food has all been planned for the weekend so feeling in control. Might go for a run too, weather permitting. Hope you all have a good weekend

Ate too much in the form of chocolate biscuits and other rubbish 😞 At a school thing with dd and I think out of here I will never get. I want to be home in my bed with my kindle. The noise of these kids would cut through you, pls let it be over soon! And I'm still starving cause I just ate sugary carbs all day....😭 I hope I can do better tomorrow, have a fancy dinner out and I want to enjoy it. Stuck here with my lovely hair do and dozens of preteen screechers

Still no movement on the scales Sad I know it hasn't been a week since I lost my last 1lb but I'm just panicking that it's not going to move again. I've been so good too. I think I just need to lose more pound to know I'm still losing weight. Maybe I need to invest in those fancy scales that show me how much of 1lb I've lost?

4 weeks Monday and I haven't had any chocolate bars, cakes/buns, alcohol or fizzy drinks.

Don't stress too much must, losing 7lb in 3 weeks or so is really really good. If you keep doing what you are, it will pay off. It didn't all go on overnight - patience/perseverance/positivity that's what we all need says she with the big knickers
Eaten ok today, I have to resist the urges for sugar as yesterday, once I started I barely stopped! Better today already. Yum bath on the fish & chips, the place I'm going does gorgeous beer battered sole goujons with the chunkiest of chips, also does a mean sticky toffee pudding....I'm in trouble aren't I 😜

Just had an amazing breakfast yes I have just woken up poached eggs and bacon on toast, yum. Thinking of getting a Chinese later as a Saturday night treat!

Morning. Up to 10st1 after a serious case of self sabotage. Hoping to be back in it today although I have a busy day with the photoshoot for my new business this morning, so who can tell at this point. Have had porridge and logged it, so I've made a good start anyway.

Morning jonty, day or 2 of controlled eating and you'll be back in the 9's - you're dead right who would know or care? I don't know which end is up right now. Decided against meal out as dh had to work today and it didn't hold the same appeal when I realised I was a lone parent for the whole weekend so we had a takeaway and a LOT of wine. I think I may be dead, just still breathing. The kids aren't up yet and I'm so so thankful that they are pretty self sufficient cause my only thought is how early I can get a Big Mac meal then pizza, then Chinese, then crisps, then chocolate

Well have only lost half a pound this week Confused but am now having to do my belt up an extra hole as on number 2 hole it was too loose! So finally starting to see a difference in my clothes, albeit it only a small difference!! Smile

Remember folks today is a new day, and you can get back on the wagon Grin I'd murder for a chippy today but I'm going to be good. Toast for breakfast, tuna salad cream on a brown breadcake for lunch and beef Sunday dinner at tea time.

Got on the scales this morning and it's gone down to 12st 12 Smile I'm so happy I could dance naked. I got on and off the scales 5 times just to make sure. Looking back through my MFP progress the last 4lbs I've lost I've lost 1lb every six days.
9lbs down now, I'll be in double digits with the next pound. Feeling so motivated. 😀

Super nsv testa, that's tangible progress, great stuff.
I'm not feeling too bad, I won't lie I've felt better but considering what I drank last night, I got away with murder! Was lower % wine (10.5 I think) maybe that's the key. Kids want to go out, but I'm not keen on the outside world just yet, couple more hours of lounging, we'll see. Around 800 cals in so far, this doesn't bode well 😢

Feeling pretty crap here. I always fend better during the week, in more ways than just food. Am sure you are able to grab the bull back by its horns tomorrow Jonty. Business set-up stuff is almost worst than the work itself. Especially if you are self-critical type like me. Hope photoshoot went well today.

Thanks everyone Grin super happy. Been good today too. Can't believe that tomorrow it will be 4 weeks since I had a can of coke, a chocolate bar, crisps or cake. Shock I've never in my life gone this long without eating any of those. I still have loads of temptation in the house too, tins/boxes of chocs and biscuits, pringles and popcorn all left over from Christmas. There's plenty of alcohol in too but I'm not too fussed about that, I can take it or leave it.

Omg got on the scales today and it read 12st 11??!!! Eh it only went down to 12st 12 yesterday. I got on and off multiple times and it displayed the same. I don't understand? It went from 13 then yesterday juggled between 11 and 12 before staying on 12, then today it's 11. Can I actually have lost that already? I don't know whether to update it on MFP or not. Confused

I think I've got your 2lbs! Meals planned for today so back on track. Checked my BMI yesterday, it's at 20.8. Used the NHS calculator and it said my healthy weight range is from 8st 13 to 12st2!!!! Also calculated my BMR (metabolic rate) and apparently without getting out of bed all day I would still burn off 1400 calories. Explains why if I'm only eating 1490 the weight is usually coming off!

Hi Ladies, Can I join?

I'm 11 stone 3 today and would like to be about 10 stone by summer.
MFP has given me 1330cals to lose 1lb a week which sounds achievable!
