Emz449 · 13/11/2015 10:38

Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

must well done!!! That's fantastic - and it will stay down because you're staying focused.

MustBeThin · 25/01/2016 09:56

Thanks Grin I can't believe it, this is the most I've ever lost eating sensibly. Usually I get annoyed when the scales don't move and think fuck it I'll have cake, then I just carry on eating junk from there.

I feel like I have a baggy arse today Blush my jeans that fit perfect feel a bit loose on my bum when I walk but if I pat it, it doesn't feel like they are really loose or anything Confused I don't want to lose bum weight, my bums not even that fat considering my weight unless it's dropping from my thighs where I need to lose it and it's giving me a baggy arse.

Bathsheba3 · 25/01/2016 10:47

Hurray Must !!! StarStarStar. Time to go shopping for jeans with less baggy arse? !!

MustBeThin · 25/01/2016 14:18

Holding off on the Jean buying Grin I'll see how I feel when I get to 12st 7, I might treat myself to a nice new pair.

So today I had a jacket potato with tuna mayo for lunch because I was out. I'm not sure what the calories will work out at. 😕 I worked out my days calories this morning and altogether I had 570 left for lunch, hopefully it'll be within my cals. I have done quite a lot of walking and carrying a heavy bag, I'm not sure how far I've waked though because I don't have a step counter or anything.

Not2bObvious · 25/01/2016 14:51

It wouldn't be much over 570, wouldn't be too concerned. Eating is going ok so far but it's the evenings that are my weak spots. I would like to stay within 1000 today, should be absolutely possible as I have all my food in mfp already and I'm under 800 but I'm a demon for picking! Little picker with big knickers, that's me 😁

Bathsheba3 · 25/01/2016 19:51

Done it. Everything logged-in to MFP. Over by 169 cals (set myself 1200) - which is 1 glass red wine once I get to sit down and watch Silent Witness. Have eaten loads, but all good stuff, ie. mostly vegetables !! Salmon with dinner. Am stuffed. And did a sneaky weigh-in midday post poo and had already lost 1.5 lbs. Enjoyed my exercise session too. My DH is never around married to work as well as avoiding the issues that go on with DC so I feel I can justify a personal training session once a week on him! Had a good cry today too. Poor girl. But I'm feeling better !!!

No picking this evening Not.

Not2bObvious · 25/01/2016 20:25

Well done on losing 1.5lb today bath, I think that's a record 😁 A good cry can give the mind a reboot, sounds like you had a nourishing day food wise too.
Kitchen closed ignores tummy rumble c. 800 cals

Emz449 · 25/01/2016 20:29

Well done Must! You must feel great Grin

Sorry to hear you're struggling Bath, I hope things get better for you soon Flowers

Shattered today, it's silent witness for me and then bed I think! Or maybe just Harry Potter. Missing my boyfriend a lot today, things are getting on top of me slightly with friends and family and it feels like just being with him will make things a lot better. 4 and a half months to go!

JontyDoggle37 · 25/01/2016 20:36

Bath better out than in (poo and tears 😜)
I'm finishing up the day on target. I've moved bloody mountains today and I'm still working now. Feels good though, so much sorted out.

Bathsheba3 · 25/01/2016 20:40

Sorry to hear that Emz. I don't want to sound silly, but is there any chance of taking up a club, activity, evening class or something whilst he is away? Something just for YOU, to look forward to once a week, and to help focus your mind on something completely different? Be it yoga or pilates, or art, or sewing, or photography? Might help the friends & family situation too ... just a thought.

Bathsheba3 · 25/01/2016 20:46

800 cals is amazing Not. I couldn't do it as that would leave too many wine calories!!. Joke aside, you have done brilliantly. Lets hope the lbs melt away very soon for you. You deserve it. We all do.

Not2bObvious · 25/01/2016 21:20

I did find myself eyeing the left over Shiraz but then thought I'd be floutered after so little food if I even sniffed it! It's my only truly successful soup day in weeks, and boy did I need it after my 3k day yesterday. I've taken to my bed cause there's nowt to eat there (apart from the odd rennie!)
Aww emz, sorry you're feeling a bit low, not surprised you miss your bf after having time with him recentlyFlowers

Emz449 · 25/01/2016 21:22

Yes been thinking about it and I'm going to start playing badminton with some of my friends from work, some physical activity would be good. Also have been thinking about knitting too to help pass the time Smile

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 25/01/2016 21:29

I tried knitting a few years ago (I'm a crochet girl normally or to quote my favourite crochet book a happy hooker😊) My dd for some reason called it "wooling"...are you going to do your wooling mum? Better than asking me was I hooking I guess😉

JontyDoggle37 · 26/01/2016 04:49

Not2b - happy hooker or little picker with big knickers - what a choice! Lol, you make me smile every day 😄
Emz sounds like a plan, although if life is feeling quiet and empty I can just send you some of mine, I seem to have two lives worth at the moment and could do with someone else doing some of it!!!
Yes, I have just weighed in at 4.30am, because I've got up this early to get some work done on my business. And I've reached a new weight low of 10st 0.5! That will motivate me to stay on track today 😄. Husband and I are going clothes shopping weekend after next, so I've got until then to drop the last 2.5lbs....

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2016 05:59

Why thank you jonty, I love a catchy phrase or 2 😁
You're so close to the 9's, single digits, I cannot imagine what it must feel like. If I ever get there I'll probably start going places where they're known to weight you, doctors, nurses etc Maybe rock up to a ww meeting for a couple of sessions - be a first to go to ww and be happy at what I saw on the scales lol!
I succeeded in my weekend mission not to be heavier at my Tuesday WI. I was 11.11.2 on Friday, I'm now 11.11 after my soup day! Now I'm all about focussing on good choices for the next 3 days as Friday I want to 1lb gone. I had a goal of 11.6.6 for the 2nd of Feb, very specific I know but would put me 21lb down from last year. I think it's unlikely though, would mean losing 4.4 in a week, but I'll give it a go. If nothing else I'm going to make a huge push towards it. Nearly February, where has this month gone??

Thankfulforeveryday · 26/01/2016 07:46

So I put a 1lb on!!! I literally want to throw the towel in. I don't know what's wrong. I had one day over my calories. I'm beyond disappointed X

Emz449 · 26/01/2016 08:05

Thankful don't throw the towel in! A pound is nothing and will come off so easily. Don't be too hard on yourself Flowers

Jonty great to hear you're down to your lowest. Will be great to be in the 9's, you're so close now too.

Off to Birmingham for work this evening and a three course meal. There will be a buffet lunch tomorrow too with sandwiches etc. Planning on going back to my usual eating routine after these couple of days. Might make some soup at the weekend too, I've missed it!

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 26/01/2016 08:19

Thankful now put the towel down, step away from the towel....terrorist negotiations 101😉 Going to go Eastenders on you and say 'av a word with yourself. You did not put on a lb, it's bloat or waste or something but it's not here to stay. But it will be and it'll invite lots of it's lardy mates to keep it company if you quit. Go have a big glass of water and then plan your days food well. They are your orders 😁

StewardsEnquiry · 26/01/2016 08:23

Just dashing in to say I am in the 9s!!!!!

I have been plodding on with 1200 for the last two weeks and overnight I had a 2lb whoosh to make me ... 9st13.

I am so so pleased, I couldn't ever have imagined being a weight that starts with 9. I wanted to be 9 something by Feb half term so I have made that deadline. In terms of my goal weight? I think 9st 9 will be my final goal.

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2016 08:28

Wow stew!!! So so good. So remind me, what was your worst weight after Christmas? You were over 10.7 yes? You're giving me great hope here

Thankfulforeveryday · 26/01/2016 08:51

Right, I've been and had a massive word with myself in the bathroom. Sorry about that ranty post!!! Big glass of water in hand, I've been through my food from last week too and I wasn't as "good" as I thought I had been. All over it from today, I will weigh EVERYTHING!! Thanks nottobe

Well done for getting into the 9's, that where I want to be, only 12Lb to go, but boy is it sticking!

I completely feel for you being lonely, I'm Ex forces so completely get that, just try and keep yourself busy at night as I used to find they are the hardest times.

Thanks for all the encouragement, its a huge help.

Im off to work in the cake shop, wish me luck!!!!!

StewardsEnquiry · 26/01/2016 08:56

My mad pre Christmas top weight was 10st 11!!!!

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2016 09:09

Crikey, so you've lost 11 pounds in less than a month, that's crazy! Goes to show what happens when you persevere. Thrilled for you 😁
Well done thankful on the honest food diary recap, it can be a bitter pill sometimes but in the long run its the only way. I'm contemplating my breakfast now, not sure if I'm hungry enough yet, like to fast as long as I can from last meal every couple of days, I'm on about 15 hours now

MustBeThin · 26/01/2016 11:09

Well done on the losses. Grin this threads really keeping me motivated you are all doing so well. I'm till 12st 13 today 8lb loss in 3 weeks.
