I love a 'What did you eat today?' thread. But the one in chat was getting interesting as those not dieting were a bit unimpressed by the food day's of some.

I thought we could (if you like) say what 'plan' or method you are using, what you ate and how successful you felt the day was.

A much better day.

Exercise - swimming and a 2 mile walk in the am.

No breakfast, never do.

Subway club sandwich with lots of salad and a cookie for lunch

Some morrisons lamb and beef kebabs with salad for dinner.
Slice of leftover cheesecake.

Yesterday was awful cos of hangover, pizza, cookies, toast, ice cream NINE chocolate crispy cake things. Tried to mitigate the damage today:

B: black coffe
L: vegan nut veggie tacos, strawberries, almond milk latte
D: protein coffee smoothie
S: black chai tea with sugar

And cycled about 15miles

B - 2 cups of tea
L - Wholemeal sandwich thin with Philadelphia Light and salad, a nectarine, a couple of slices of mango and small bag of Twiglets
D - Homemade vegetable curry with coconut rice, followed by almond soya yoghurt.
Tried to eat a bit less today as i overindulged a bit at Wahaca last night.

D.....10% beef mince (counting 3 syns) into bolognaise, Leeketti & salad with mayo (1 Syn) and 15g mozzarella (2 syns)

Really want a loss on Wednesday.....

B - chopped strawberries, blueberries and raspberries in ff Greek yogurt

L - ham salad (counting 2 syns for extra light mayo). Hifi rhubarb bar (1/2HEB)

Sn - wrap (5 syns) with chicken and salad. Hifi choc orange bar (other half HEB).

T - slimming world meatballs ready meal and cheese (HEA)

Been a hungry day todaySmile

D: wheatberry salad with roasted cauliflower and okra, with vinagerette
S: some span pea crips, more strawberries, picked at DC pasta pesto, 2 coffees with soy creamer, green tea with soy creamer and honey, freeze dried edamame

apparently came in at 900kcal which seems not quite right considering all the snacking

B - porridge, blueberries, dollop of strawberry jam and tsp sugar (1.5 syns)

D - slimming world sausages, scrambled eggs, mushrooms. Ketchup (1 syn). Fruitopolis yogurt (half a syn), blueberries, grapes, raspberries, strawberries.

T - slimming world beef burger, slimming world chips, salad, ketchup (1 syn). Ice cream 10 syns.

After all that I should be full. Am still hungry. Hmm

Are most of you on SW? Is that what the syns are?

I'm doing a fast day for the first time in forever today, well, hoping to. Just had lunch and planned out dinner so it will hopefully end up:

B: matcha green tea latte (almond milk)
L: tomato, avocado and wheat berry salad, passion fruit for desert
D: avo, mango, matcha smoothie and a slice of DH's bread

Will bring me in at exactly 500kcal

B: raspberries and slice of bread and DD's left over almond butter sandwich
L: wheat berry, spinach, mushroom and red pepper salad, watermelon, raspberries, 2 eggs
D: same salad and DD's leftover quesadilla and might also have picked on some pasta pesto
S: 2 rice cakes

Came in at 1200kcal roughly and also weighed into this am - 3.5lbs lost in a month which is rubbish, but 1.5 of those in less than a week, only realistically have 4 to go so slow loss is prob just cos I don't need to lose a ton.

Have to say though that calorie counting is making really aware of how many mindless and often tasteless calories I put away

I'm calorie counting too. It's really made me cut out the random shoving of food in whenever I pass the kitchen cupboards. I'm using MyFitnessPal and found it works for me if I enter all my food for the day first thing. So I'm eating off a list, rather than finding out late afternoon I haven't got any calls left for dinner.

B- coffee and weetabix
L- ham salad
D- chicken, rice and peas
Snacks- options hot chocolate, fruit and some crackers

I eat from a list too, I like to plan ahead Smile

I also get meal boxes delivered so I don't have to work out what I'm cooking each week (a throw back from my days of pnd which worked very well for me)

So today,

B - Alpro yoghurt with orange and apple slices.
L - 2 Ryvita with a mixture of lactofree cream cheese, hummus and grated carrot and spring onion on top.
D - Gusto recipe, Mexican Eggs.
