I think i would be better if i had someone i didn't want to let down!
hopped on the scales this morning and 10st1lb dead. I was about 9 stone last summer and want to get back down there! Currently struggling to get back below ten i keep stalling (and eating biblical quantities of pitta and hummus and galaxy bars... not at the same time)

I have a beach holiday coming up in 10 weeks so a few pounds gone by then would be great!!
Anyone up for buddying up with a food dairy and telling me off?

Well I've been playing detective with DP all evening.
Basically bought a car two weeks ago and it's not been running right. We bought it from a dodgy dealers yard and he said it had a 3 month warranty but he's been avoiding our calls. We sat outside his yard for an hour and DP had a bag of chips. I stole about 10 chips and half a Mars bar! Then we went asking around local businesses to see if we could find the guy. Eventually someone gave us another phone number for him and we phoned it and he said he's in Vegas - likely story.

Haven't had tea tonight though. Only just got home and I'm too knackered now.

God Pointy that's awful! I think you are alowed a day off. Really hope you get your car back - or a better one on insurance!

Today has certainly been better - I'm still at work so can't complete my food diary. Still under though, but i didn't leave myself much room for dinner! Have been really hungry today, had a glass of orange juice to stave it off - would probably have been better to just eat something tbh.

How is everyone doing this sunny morning? Hope today is slightly better for you both Bat and Pointy

I went 200 over my calories yesterday, there were some mini chocolate tarts at home so i had a quarter of one - still enough to put me over! Diary was:

Yoghurt and pineapple pieces
100 ml orange juice
Half a pork wrap
4 fish sticks
100 ml orange juice
1/4-1/2 chicken breast, 2 new potatoes, mixed veg
1/4 chocolate tart
1.5 beers Blush

Today I've nixed the snacks, and will skip the juice (basically liquid sugar! ) and the booze. I'm hoping there is going to be chicken left when i get home, it was good!

Weighed in at 9 st 10 - so 1 more lb down. Having to remind myself this is not real loss yet!!

Weighed myself this morning and still 11 stone but the needle was hovering on the right side instead of the wrong side so I'm taking that as a positive :)
I'm going to the gym later so will weigh myself on their more accurate scales.

Food plan involved steak and spinach and sweet potato.

Aww, really sorry to hear about all the car probs. what shits some folk are!

I'm slightly hungover after a little night out with mates but had been v good with food ydy and I'm off to the gym now for a HIIT-style class. It's intense but just half an hour so might do a few weights/floor stuff after. Only eaten a banana so far.

Is everyone weighing themselves every day? I thought I might hang on til Saturday so I could see a week's worth?

I weigh every day meduim , I wish I didn't sometimes .
Hope the car shit gets sorted pointy.
Yesterday was a good day , was at work but got away early and went to a yoga class. Food much the same as the day before , yogurt , shapers sandwich , shapers onion rings , sweet potatoe with brocolli and cheese ( from mash direct at asda so filling and so low calorie) .
Had a couple of mini milks at night .
This evening will be a tester , going over to my friends for a drink . I will stick to gin and tonic no probs but it's the eating that goes with my drinking which mucks it up .

Hopped on scales this morning and 143.6???! I know I've not been a saint yesterday but to be 2.6lbs heavier than Saturday morning.... Really???

Ooh, good luck xotic, yes, hard drinking with friends. I was with all my twig mates last night (seriously, they are twigs, so annoying) so no food involved, just slightly too much booze. Haha

Oh no Queen! You sound to have been super good with your running!!! Er, time of the month???? Maybe wait until Saturday then you can see the week as a whole?

I hadn't to be fair! in trying not to beat myself up too much! I've varied as much as half a stone before.
So I'll just crack on. Could do with planning meals a bit better but this week hasn't really allowed for that.

I'm going strong. Did treadmill HIIT session this morning before breakfast. Breakfast was 20g porridge oats with 100ml skimmed milk and a boiled egg. Break was a protein shake. Lunch was courgetti bolognaise. Just sitting down to some natural yogurt with a teeny splodge of honey. Not sure what I'll have for tea. Maybe chicken Breast and roasted veg.

Lastqueen, if you'd not been to the loo, that is it! Can vary a lot based on that. It is so much better to weigh weekly - I'm just very impatient.... ! I'll probably be on daily until i see something i don't like.

You feeling any better post KFC Turn?

Bat, Medium, your exercise is making me very Blush I should really do some...

Today was going great, wrap for lunch and yoghurt as a snack (was supposed to be breakfast but i wasnt hungry) but had a few drinks with my boss - still fairly under calories but it's hardly bloody ideal!

Oh god.... Me. I need to lose a stone. Like others on here, I'm really short so even a bit of extra weight just splodges round my tummy and arse and none of my clothes fit. I'll weigh and measure tomorrow.....

Had chicken Breast, veg and a few new pots for dinner -I maaaayyyyy have ended my day on trifle. Under on calories though.

I think I may have to take up a re-education piece about how trifle calories =/= chicken calories when I'm done or I'll wind up malnourished.

It has occurred to me that I need some sort of plan. My usual plan is to eat whatever I want which is why I now only have about three items of clothing that fit me. The big shocker that has driven me to address this is that my massive period pants are really really tight.... This is rubbish. So. Help. A plan please? Someone mentioned percentages of protein and fat and stuff - is this a good place to start?? I've got the myfitnesspal app on my phone so will have a look at that.

Hello all, me too :) Tired I lost about 1.5 stone using MFP and doing exercise, it was pretty dull but effective. I also gained while breast feeding... too many extra cakes plus baby weight Sad but heading the right way now. I liked MFP as you could "cheat" and have extra wine but less food, although I got terrible hangovers so it wasn't worth it!

However I have got to a reasonable weight but lost focus so want another push to lose the last stone ish. Have joined Slimming World, weighed in at 9.13 so we will see. Eaten very healthily all week, loads of choping veg before work and being super organised. but I am out at a fancy 10 course meal in Friday so don't want to undo all my hard work Angry

Hiya to lelly and under! Crikey, yes, hate that tight clothes feeling. Hmm, a lot of folk swear by mfp, i am just totting it up in head and aiming for about 1,200 calories most days just largely from healthy stuff, but guess this does allow too much on 'guesstimates'.

lastqueen, guess it would be ok to weigh every day just so long as you didn't let a mad 'rogue' day - not been to loo, big meal late on the night before etc - upset you too much.

Today I'm going to copy ydy a bit
Breakfast banana
Lunch avocado mashed with egg and tuna
Dinner chicken soup or maybe sushi then Greek yoghurt and veg

Also off to another HIIT class. Been v good (just that when I'm bad, I'm horrid! Wink)
